Christianity EtcRe: Adeboye Shops For $20m Jet by tundebabzy: 3:48pm On Jul 17, 2008
RCCG does not use tithes to buy private jets. If there is any major project, there is always a fund raising where the project in question is announced to the congregation.
Christianity EtcRe: Adeboye Shops For $20m Jet by tundebabzy: 3:46pm On Jul 17, 2008
I think its better that people stop being judges by giving reasons that Pastor Adeboye might have for getting a jet.
Besides, we are not even sure if the story is true.
Pastor Adeboye once announced that RCCG camp would soon be known as Redemption City. He talked of having an airport so that international visitors can come land directly in camp. Maybe the private jet is actually a commercial jet because to maintain a jet costs from $1,500 to $5,000 per hour. Thats to expensive by any means.
And as for people that are condemning the collection of seed offerings, its  not compulsory in RCCG to make a seed offering.
PoliticsRe: Has Fashola Really Done Anything In Lagos State? by tundebabzy: 1:53pm On Jul 17, 2008
Fashola might not have done the best he can do for Lagos but how can someone boldly say he has not done anything. Let's take the BRT for example, hundreds of drivers and conductors have been employed. People would also have to maintain the buses don't you think? Also LASA was created. Is LASA made up of tables and chairs? Of course not.LASA serves the purpose of beautifying Lagos and has also provided jobs. These are just a few of the things we have seen in action in Lagos. Meanwhile the flood in the island area of Lagos is nothing compared to what it has been in years past when there wasn't even as much rain as there is now,
People, stop beefing the man abeg. He is doing what he promised to do if he got voted in (even though it is possible that majority didn't vote him).
No governor in the whole country has been able to spark up such radical change like Fashola has accomplished. The man should be encouraged abeg

Jobs/VacanciesRe: Nigeria Lost Over 20 Graduate In Immigration And Prison Recruitment by tundebabzy: 11:35am On Jul 15, 2008
The organiser(s) was just plain stupid. But when you are organising a physical event with mass participation, you dont have to be a rocket scientist to know that there has to be a standby ambulance and medical personnel. During my NYSC, our endurance trek was hell. There was no ambulance but there were Red Cross personnel trailing us to pick the fallen. They even rented a trailer to move them back to camp and also those who felt they couldnt continue.
Is NIS trying to tell us that they can't afford to get an ambulance for a recruitment exercise? Meanwhile, the physical tests should have started after elimination of people with the intellectual and personality tests.
Whoever swallowed the money that caused people to avoidably lose their lives should know that he has innocent blood on his hands. One day it will be payback time.
May the souls of the departed rest in peace. (AMEN)
RomanceRe: Annoying Pick Up Lines! by tundebabzy: 2:24pm On Jul 14, 2008
Are u guys sure people still use the 'are you familiar' line. cos by the time i was 13 years old it was already extinct. If you still get such lines its either you live around an assylum or you might be in an assylum. Both ways fact is you need deliverance.
EducationRe: Expulsion Scandal Rocks Covenant University: 120 Students Expelled by tundebabzy: 1:17pm On Jul 09, 2008
private xtian schools are full of young children who are never going to get sharp because they are locked up in school and forced to do everything. Tell me somthing new abeg. meanwhile i went to a private school sha-Bowen though personally i wish i went to CU because i know that if in CU, if i dont graduate with a first class, it'd be a very very strong 2.1.
Imagine, CU graduated 65 first class students last year. That is more than the sum of first class graduates that my school has released in its three convocations. After paying all that big money, Bowen tells us that 'We are maintaining a standard' and those fucking UI,OAU and Lautech lecturers make us sweat blood before we get decent grades (not top grades o). When i graduated last year, my department produced only 2 first class student (Economics) and both of them had 4.50. The highest grade in some depts was 2.2. the whole school had only 18 yet convenant that is 'not maintaining any standard' is bagging all the jobs in the country for their students (No disrespect to my CU friends). Now tell me y when Oyedepo says you should come to service with your bible you decide to disobey. You are even supposed to carry like 4 extra bibles. At least you are going to graduate with a good grade (only if you are a complete block head or you are just rich). I'm not trying to say we should all be kissing Oyedepo's ass (he's very blessed by God so whether you like it or not, people are going to be kissing his ass. Infact i advise you to kiss his ass anytime you get the chance. Me i'm looking for that chance); i'm just saying that you stand a lot to gain when you follow simple and crazy rules in CU.

Jobs/VacanciesRe: I need Information, I have an Idea Waiting To Explode by tundebabzy: 4:25pm On Apr 16, 2008
The fact that all these things are strictly imported into the country should be a source of worry to you unless you think the whole Nigeria contains blockheads. The location of your factory is not a problem, what you should be worried about is inputs especially power. In Nigeria, you cant use NEPA. You would be talking of nothing less than 1 million naira on diesel per month. That is apart from servicing of the gen itself. Also you would have to find a way to battle the competition from China. All the swithes we have in Nigeria are low quality and very cheap and the culprit is as you guessed China. Then there is the issue of multiple taxes that you must pay.
I advise that you do a thorough feasibility study. The feasibility study should cover the technical, market, financial and managerial aspects. It is very important because you are about to venture into a very high risk business. You should also consider doing the business in Ghana where they have good power supply.
RomanceRe: Do Virgins Make Better Partners? by tundebabzy: 4:06pm On Apr 16, 2008

BusinessRe: You Have Money And You Need Business Ideas? by tundebabzy: 3:50pm On Apr 16, 2008
Its ironic that while some people dont know what to do with their money, others have ideas but do not have money to implement them. I actually have ideas but i do not have the money to bring my dreams to reality.

I thought there had to be a voting process in the house before anything can become a law. I am 100% sure that such a bill can never be passed into law. The only place that such can be discussed is the beer parlor.
What of married people or is it that one would have to show a marriage certificate to buy a condom.
RomanceRe: How To Ask For Phone Number? by tundebabzy: 4:06pm On Apr 01, 2008
I have never heard such remarks about asking for a phone number in my whole life. In fact i can't believe what i've been reading. Such remarks should be coming from nursery school. What happened to telling the girl (after you have had an INTERESTING chat),'Give me your number'. Getting a phone number is not rocket science. Let any GROWN UP lady tell me if i'm wrong
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Glo Calling by tundebabzy: 7:55pm On Mar 29, 2008
GLo never conducts aptitude tests or anything like that. You just have to apply in their career section online. The requirements is 2.1 for males and 2.2 for females(dont ask me why; its their company policy). The interview is in stages. To scale through just be confident. They look out for your communication skills, your personality, how well you can express yourself. I wish you good luck
