Good afternoon everyone, I drive a Kia Sportage 2012. Engine was bad and I had it changed. Mechanic delivered with some faults (driver side window not working, AC not working, head lamp and dashboard light flickering intermittently). I took it for a spin and before I got back, the ride would keep going off. I've scanned it and it came up with these codes: P0560, P0625, P2119, P2110, P0661, P0017. You can view the full report here - https://usait.x431.com/Home/Report/reportDetail/diagnose_record_id/28c6b094ge54KwtZtZoGOM2Ylp/report_type/D/l/en-usAm I screwed? Edit: I forgot to add that its leaking oil. Infact, the oil is on the "L" mark on the dipstick |

Good morning.
Hyundai sonata 2011.
All four tires were bad so I decided to change them. I never noticed all the while that the front driver side tire was smaller than the remaining tires. After changing all the tires, the car bounces furiously at around 80km/h.
Does anyone know what fault the smaller tire was hiding? I've already done a not very cheap change of my shock absorbers. |

Lekan239: I do not have the required instruments for scanning. What car scanner do you recommend I should buy? Look for someone who has, usually a mechanic. That light is popularly known as the check engine light and signifies that your cars computer has detected a fault or anomaly that is making the car run below its optimal level. |

SolnergyPower: Good day my people.
We are currently constructing a all-in-one inverter. That means, it will have ability to recharge itself and also supply power 24/7.
Just imagine how a generator runs if it's constantly supplied with fuel and oil just before the fuel in the tank finishes or the oil finishes... ...assuming other parts of the generator will not become inefficient over a long period of time.
We are almost at the final testing stage.
The images below are for a 3.5KVA inverter. What about the specs? |

chukzyfcbb: I don't think you will get what you are looking for because any chart drawn over the years, will be Rates calculated on a yearly average. Why not start from the beginning of this thread, atleast it began December 2012, You can take your time to go after each page while putting down the rates of various month.
Although from mg observation, November December January , rates are always dropping. May June July seems to be when the rates are spiked due to calls for budget implementation. This is my own observation which could be wrong, so you can do yours and observe for yourself! #Start from Page 1 Not true. Visit https://www.cbn.gov.ng/rates/GovtSecuritiesDrillDown.asp?market=NTBP. You'll get rates for each auction up to March 2002 spread over 200 pages. There is also a link to export the data to Excel so you can generate a line chart by yourself to see the trend. |

therealMcCain: It's not my intention to cast shades on you. Your contributions on this thread has been invaluable & you know your onions that's one of the reasons I didn't go into details request such as asking for pics of panels or nameplate etc
That being said, I AM NOT of the opinion too that you misrepresented the fact on purpose or you were out to defraud me. I was angry & feeling very bad, I felt I had been decieved & a smart one has been played on me.
The keyword here is "feelings
The efficiency of Mono Vs Poly isn't the issue here but was I believed I was buying, I felt I needed to know, it was my perogative to have that info & make a decision. I am sure the house can empathise with this feeling.
I refused to buy zeestones used panel when i discovered they were poly, so imgaine how i felt when i saw that these panels were Poly.
That being said, I guess the house can learn from this, No assumptions should be made when service or goods are being offered REGARDLESS of who is offerring them.
Seller should give all details & buyer should equally ask questions.
People buy things or do things for ONLY 2 reasons
1. Logical reasons
2.emotional reasons
It's very typical of Nigerian sellers to always assume what's important/necessary to the buyer which I believe it's wrong.
Typical Nigerian scenario, why you dey give me black biro, not be blue I pay for?
Oga nor be house u say u wan use am, blue & black biro na the same thing, infact this blue biro na from US, that blue wey u dey find na Aba full market
If I wanted a black biro because my late father or friend always used black, all arguments of blue biro being equally being good or the best will be futile.
Everyone knows when it comes to panels, type in terms of Mono/poly & its ratings are key factors
It is also a known fact that most folks tend to go for mono or would love to go for Mono. So I believe that should always be stated clearly
On foreign classified Ad sites, on the average the seller takes time to give item description or a picture & states the condition whether its "As is" or not, i think we should all emulate that
Once more I brought this to the house to serve as a learning incident & not in any way to soil Mr GeorgeD1 reputation Sell them to me |

JUO: no 40' 4k smart TV is less than 400k, even ordinary FHD smart 40' TV is more than 200k. You can get ordinary FHD led around 150k or higher if you prefer that or just buy HD led which is what you get in most stores. But be sure you don't buy led with lcd back-lit or edge-lit which will consume more. For me I may likely not go for bigger screen cos bigger screen means more power. My friends 50' 4k smart consumes 30w Oh OK. Now I totally understand since you are talking about 4k TV. I thought it was the regular LED. Yap, 4k TV are expensive (and really energy efficient. Wow!). Thanks for clearing that up. |
Satellite TV Technology › Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by tundebabzy: 8:06pm On Feb 28, 2017 |
dapsyra: You can buy from any reputable dealer. Just make sure you buy LED (not LCD) TV.
Most 32' LED TV consumes less than 25w. OK. I knew LED don't consume as much power as LCD. I just got confused at the 400k estimate for 40"Tv. But honestly, I didn't know LED TV consume as low as 25w. Their spec sheets usually say something around 50w. This is really good to know and my LCD will definitely be the next to go. |
Satellite TV Technology › Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by tundebabzy: 6:57pm On Feb 27, 2017 |
JUO: But I advertised these fans on this forum, none showed interest. Any way qasa is good the price is between 20-30k. Consumption is 14w on low and 28w on high. Mine is 5w on low and 32w on high. Another model with remote control is 9w on low and 38w on high. Out of stock. Think of how many fans you will power with 100w if each is consuming 12w?. I see no reason for huge battery bank, solution is here already. Believe me a 3 bed room flat can use just 2pcs of 150ah batteries and 1500w solar panels with energy efficient devices and your batteries can do over 3yrs. Just imagine 4 ceiling fans consuming 15w each, TV 40' 30w, led bulbs 8pcs 5w each, fridge 120w 8am-4pm daily. With this your night consumption will never exceed 1800kwh which can be replenished by the array before 11am, the rest goes to the fridge and float your batteries before 3pm. Sounds interesting right? Now the real breakdown of the energy efficient devices: TV 40' 400k, fridge 200k, ceiling fan 30k, led bulbs bright ones N1500. Finish the calculation. I don try You are on point sir. This is the route I'm trying to follow. I have already changed all the bulbs in the house to 5w bulbs although that's the cheapest part. Next to go is fans. Once I get my energy meter, I can then decide evaluate if my lcd TV needs to go. Please, I don't need a 40' TV. 32 us good enough for me. Can you direct me to where I can get the kind of energy saving one you mentioned? |
Satellite TV Technology › Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by tundebabzy: 1:20pm On Feb 25, 2017 |
Barezzi: I fully agree with you. One of my next goals is to take the security lights off the battery. Next will be to replace my fans. I run two and they consume 135w each. I average 500w throughout the night. I'd like to get it down to 200w. Which is cheaper? Increase my battery Bank or replace energy guzzling loads?? Replace energy guzzling load |

dagr8: Hello house, please any one here who has ever used Diamond bank to bid? I don't know why they are giving me trouble. They insist I can only buy from the secondary market and I cant bid myself. What is the solution to this wahala? I have and it went well. My first try years ago, they told me I'd have to have a minimum of 1m. I didn't investigate further and abandoned my plans to buy. After going through this thread this year, I first sent an email to their customer care and they replied that the minimum is 100k. Armed with that information, I walk into any branch armed with my instruction letter. I go straight to the customer care section and ask whoever is there to process it for me. No questions asked! Since you already know how things work, just take your instruction letter to them. Make sure you specify in your instruction, maybe underline it for emphasis, that you only want to purchase from the primary market. #shikena |
