Fashion / Re: Leather Crafting : How To Identify Real Leather by tundefamuyide(m): 6:21pm On Mar 11, 2022
I will like to order for the shoe in the pictures uploaded. How do I make an order?
Aolfooties:
Good day nairalanders.
I'm AOL, a certified and registered cordwainer (shoe maker) with over 3 years of experience in footwear production.

I notice leather selection or identification is a major problem for most people as they tend to look exactly most of the time like synthetic leather which are artificial materials and not suitable for long term use.

Often leather is a material that slippers are made of, like Aolfooties Slippers. The problem is that sometimes imitations appear on the market, so what can we do to make sure the slippers we want are real leather?

1. Sight: Leather is usually easy to see at first sight. The texture and the pores are very distinctive, making it relatively easy for the eye to recognize.

2. The touch: Leather feels soft and it’s a flexible and smooth material. Synthetic products are usually much harder.

3. Fold it: Genuine leather folds in a gentle manner. It doesn't wrinkle easily because of the firmness that can be found in the curve. Synthetic leather does not deliver such a smooth curving.

4. Buy from a trusted vendor: make sure you always make your purchase from a trusted seller, which a high percentage of made in Nigeria footwears delivers well on. Aolfooties have varieties of leather works in stocks with nationwide delivery (check my signature).

I hope this helps when next you buying a leather shoe.

Career / Re: 80% Of Employees In Banks Are Casual Workers: ASSBIFI by tundefamuyide(m): 5:49pm On Aug 13, 2021
Understandably, this is a strategy to cut cost, the recruitment process often times than not is outsourced. UBA for example has quite a number of outsourcing firms who handle their casual staff recruitment.
The only exception are the Trainee Program designated for management roles, each bank see to the recruitment and training of these sets. In the bid of outsourcing, banks and other financial institutions stay lean.

So Yungwizzzy28 clear the notion that she invested your supposed "common wealth" she has a great track record, and also important connections, that's all that matters.

Nairaland / General / Re: When Was The Scariest Moment Of Your Life? by tundefamuyide(m): 12:20am On Jun 22, 2018
Mine was the second time Armed robbers invaded our house. I didn't notice them the first time they came around, because I was pretty small. But for the second encounter, I was kinda at peace, I was confident I would get through. I was alone with my siblings, plus one acquaintance living with us that night, my parent had gone to vigil. I shared the same room with that acquaintance (a big bro), when the robbers knocked, he was asked to open the door gently, or they would shoot and force their way in. On sighting him, they thought nobody was in my room. When they asked him for his siblings, he pointed to the other rooms, and the robbers rounded up everybody in the house. The money those crooks came for was easy to find my dad's room. So they checked every other room, for additional money.
The standard procedure in those days was to come in, break all bulbs, and then operate with torchlights, I was already awake, when everyone was assembled, and that big bro beaten, I heard him cry like a baby, "bad day devil drink water" I had rolled to the edge of my bed. Those big "spring suspension" bed, one of the robbers came in, raised the first bed in the room, nothing underneath. Then it was time to raise my bed at the other end of the room. I thought he had seen me hiding, and was already pointing his gun at my head, just like those foreign movie. I didn't scream, I just laid there praying to God and asking for forgiveness. He raised the bed, checked underneath and left the room. Till today, I couldn't figure out if he saw me and ignored me, or he didn't notice me at all. Till day break, I didn't leave my bed, neither could I sleep. I actually thought I was going to die that day. They visited again some years after, but I wasn't scared of sh*t anymore, I even tried looking at their faces.

Career / Conflict Resolution In The Workplace by tundefamuyide(m): 1:47am On Nov 24, 2017
I had a fallout with my boss a while ago, and it wasn’t quite palatable. A troubled relationship with one’s boss as stated by Dr. Travis Bradberry can destroy the most talented person’s confidence. It’s hard to be confident, when your boss sabotages, criticizes or undermine your contributions. I identified where our relationship went south, and decided to get things back on track. So I called for a meeting, by asking to see her and discuss the issues in the presence of another superior colleague.

I listed the issues which caused our fall out, and perhaps might cause an affray if not looked into and resolved quickly. I mentioned her areas of blind-spots, perhaps perpetuated as a result of her indifference or ignorance to them. It could have caused her a pitfall and a downward spiral, if not quickly looked into and resolved. I had my own issues as well, which she mentioned. After all we are all a series of work in progress. Prior to then, I had reached the zone of serenity most men attain before an emotional outburst or a tirade and finally combat. But as a huge proponent of nonviolence, I opted for a dialogue, rather than employing a confrontational approach. She went emotional, and her anger grew more towards me the following weeks, I could literally feel her anger, as she avoided much communication or contact with me. Thanks to the intervention of our superior colleague. Resentment had already began to build up in me likewise. All these happened because she felt I had disrespected and slandered her. According to Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage) “it is not slander if it is true”. Everything I said was true, I only stated facts, which could be backed up by any of my former colleagues who have experienced something similar or different while under her.

Heaven knows that my aim and intention were never to humiliate her, because I saw her break down and sob, after which her face turned white with anger. But rather I had said those words to win her friendship and understanding back. It was clear to me from the beginning, that the end I sought from our meeting was a work environment at peace with itself, a work-culture that could live with its conscience. An environment where my efforts won’t be sabotaged, my contributions undermined but rather acknowledged and appreciated. A workplace I would anticipate coming to, and would relish every minute spent while around to dispense my duties. The aspirations I shared with every other workers (Human beings) across the globe, is the liberty of knowing that our leaders are accountable to us, and that we won’t be ostracized for disagreeing with them, or speaking our mind when we adjudge them wrong.

I understood that in the African work-place settings, people younger than you are in age, are not meant to point out your errors, or call you out for being inefficient. It is broadly termed “Rude and Disrespectful” The Elders are meant to be revered, not questioned but rather to listen in obedience. This yarn is knitted and woven into the fibers and beings of all Africans. This equates to what Africa itself termed the “Western Arrogance of feeling that it had everything to teach the others and nothing to learn from them”. This in itself isn’t just. Organizations held together by fear and repression may often offer the illusion of stability for a time, but they are built upon fault lines that will eventually tear asunder.

I am convinced that in order to move forward, we must say openly to each other the things we hold in our hearts, and that too often are said only behind closed doors. There must be a sustained effort to listen to each other, to learn from each other, to respect one another, and to seek a common ground. Here is the true meaning and value of conflict resolution, when it helps us to see the opposition's point of view, to hear their questions, to know their assessment of ourselves. For from their views, we may indeed see the basic weaknesses of our own condition, and if we are mature, we may learn, grow and profit from the wisdom of the people we call the opposition. We should always make efforts to resolve conflicts, before thinking about quitting our jobs and moving on.

Career / Negotiation Tips For Your First Job. by tundefamuyide(m): 12:51am On Oct 28, 2017
Graduates in Nigeria and all over the world wants something to associate with, so they seek employment opportunities, as a result, increase in urban-migration is recorded. Failure to get something as expected would generates a large amount of emotions, worries and expectations. Since it will affect both your present life and your future career. This is why it’s important to find a job that suits your education and personality.
Getting your first job in Nigeria, is quite a rite of passage, it’s the same for many young people living in the modern world. The stress you go through in the process of landing the first job is tedious especially if you’re from an average or poor class according to the social societal construct. Along that path, one of the crucial things is to learn how to negotiate a fair working condition and salary for your first job. The following steps will help with what features to take care of and how to approach the negotiation process.
1. Know your worth in Gold
Limited experience is the major argument most employers present or employ to beat you at the negotiation table. When applying for your first job, naturally, some employers will try to use that argument as a reason to offer a ridiculous salary that’s lower than it should be. Lines like “We would still have to train you to function well at your job” or “You won’t be productive for a start, because you have to learn on the job”. Others set of employees believe they’re doing you a favour by paying you at the end of the month, not realizing how they get your time, commitment, dedication and loyalty in return.

If you come across such an employer, but you believe the job in question would be a suitable choice for growth in an entry level position, don’t succumb too easily. Do shakara, it’s allowed! It shows you’re assertive, such attitude will convince your potential employer that you’re a fighter, a trait that could benefit their company.
Apart from your university degree, your job application should include all the certificates you’ve acquired during your education. From IT courses to language certificates, business diplomas and even volunteering experiences. Appreciate your degree and knowledge, prepare everything that’s relevant for that position to back you up and boost your worth.
2. Research average salaries in your field
Before you even get your first invitation for a job interview, kindly research on the salaries in your field. A few search queries on Google will help you figure out how much are being paid in various fields. However, you shouldn’t stop here, because you need to obtain as much information as possible. It will enable you to make a more detailed plan for the salary negotiations at your interviews.
It is shameful how difficult it is to find valuable data pertaining to wage/salary estimate in Nigeria, the Ministry of Labour do not even have a functional website with statistics. Our culture also prevent people from disclosing their salaries.
For now, you can access a large amount of useful data about few companies in Nigeria on and Nairaland.com Additionally, you can source for information about the work condition of your potential workplace from friends and relatives. Also, harness the potentials of numerous social media groups related to the niche of your interest and read about other people’s experiences.
3. Review your monthly budget
I know, and have heard about some folks whose transport expenses in a month gulp a huge percentage of their monthly pay, leaving them with little or nothing. They can’t quit, because the economy is bad, and nothing else is guaranteed. “Employers have the final say on the payment you would receive” Nevertheless, you have some room in the negotiations that you can use to raise the stakes. Remember, “Most employers would like to pay you less than is required”. What you need to do before your first interview is to calculate your monthly expenses. This calculation needs to contain your rent, the bills (recharge, cable, electricity, waste management, and lots more.) the food budget, your transportation expenses and the clothes. Of course, some folks still live with their parents, relatives or guardian, so if the pay foots your bills, you should accept the offer. Lastly, endeavor to base your calculations on mid-range prices.
Finally, add your personal living expenses, such as culture-related expenditure; siblings requesting for assistance, travels and your hobbies to your monthly budget. You should include all the expenses you’ll have in order to lead a fulfilled life, so try to negotiate a salary that’s as close to that figure as possible.
4. Ask questions about the work conditions
Do you know why it is advised to always ask questions during and after interviews? This would give you an insight into how organizations are structured, so as to help you perform well. The salary and the work conditions at your new position are two closely related features. They are forms of motivation, an incentive which encourage you to perform to the best of your abilities.
Get to know about their employment relations, the policies, programmes, and practices which govern the relationship between employees and employers. Go over your job description and specifications, so as to know what your job entails. And request that all of it be stated clearly in your contract or employment letter, so that they don’t reassign tasks during layoffs instead of re-staffing, or you working overtime. You can ask for flexible work hours if you’re a part-time worker. Additionally, take care of other, non-salary features during this process, ask about past employees, or those who advanced from your position, this would give a hint on career advancement. For instance, the former and current employees of the company in question may express dissatisfaction with bad leadership in social media discussions. If so, think twice before you attend the next interview phase, and save your time and strength for other opportunities.
Also inquire about the work organization or business management style of your potential employers. They are part of major questions you should ask during an interview. If their business is based on part-time workers or outsourced workforce (a new trend in Nigeria). You might find it difficult to negotiate the salary you’re aiming at. However, such a work environment would bring some benefits, as everything isn’t about monetary reward.
5. Keep several offers on the table
The position in which you’re looking for your first job brings both some benefits and some drawbacks. The main drawback is that you don’t have an income, but you have regular expenses you have to cope with. The biggest advantage of that situation is that you have nothing to lose. Therefore, make an effort to negotiate the salary you deserve, due to your education and the payments in your niche.
You’ll manage to successfully pursue this strategy if you weigh several job offer. By entering job negotiations with several employers at the same time, you’ll get a chance to play your cards in a clever and decisive way. (This would only occur if you’re a pro or an expert at what you do.)
However, as a beginner, don’t ever mention the other offers when going for job interviews, until you get several final payment offers. (First class graduates should beware of this.) That’s the key moment at which you can mention what others have offered you. For instance, if the employer you prefer most, because their work conditions and potentials suits you best turn up with a lower pay, you can inform them about the higher offers you’ve received. It might bring you the desired job and the salary you’ve been dreaming of.
Note: Be careful and polite in every step you make during these negotiations, not to burn bridges before you have the chance to build them.
Conclusion
Your first job will be the pivotal point in your life that might influence your entire career. Because of that, it’s important to be patient during the job search. In line with that, apply for several positions and always insist on your degree, as well as on your comprehensive knowledge.
However, don’t turn the entire negotiation into a rambling process, but rather find a way to let your potential employers know how you can contribute to their business. If you follow all these strategies, you’re highly likely to find a promising first job with a fair salary.
Career / Getting Or Creating A Dream Job by tundefamuyide(m): 2:05pm On Oct 17, 2017
The past four years, I’ve been building capacity and developing my potentials, because growth requires time, and one should never be in a hurry to hit the limelight, there’s a learning phase meant to build a solid foundation and aid full development. This phase cannot be skipped. I have been dedicated to it over the years. I’ve been privileged to learn from the best there are in every field that strikes my passion. It is the same reason why I have an idea about a lot of topics; I can sustain any intellectual conversation, and virtually everything on few topics. Of recent, a lady read my article here, she tried to set P openly, asking about the job I had landed with my skill-sets and capabilities? She considered asking me out and settling down with me. I ignored her, and had a good laugh. As I was not currently interested in just any kind of job advert, except my “Dream Job” (Not everyone would toe this line though). This is the type of job one is Skilled at, Qualified for, Passionate about and also readily Available. These kind of jobs are scarce in Nigeria though, but they are out there, and I could as well create one for myself. I realized that this is the time of my life, where I can try my hands on a lot of things, because I have the strength, time and vigour to build whatever any dream of mine. At this stage of my life, it’s just me alone, huge responsibilities haven’t started creeping in, so I still have the next few years to forge my path.
Upon the completion of my tertiary education and the compulsory youth service program, I deliberately didn’t apply for any job. Not as if I wouldn’t secure a gainful employment with my skill-sets, if I ever decide to send out my resume, but for someone like me, who have been privileged to see first-hand how beautiful ideas are, especially those conceptualized to proffer solutions to genuine problems experienced by the human race. To create something similar, it is expedient for me to go through another learning phase that would equip and empower me with the needed skillsets to build and develop my “beautiful and fulfilling brainchild” which would solve a major problem; that of under-employment and un-employment, by bridging the skill gap that spans all demographics in Africa, and in turn add value to my life. The Innovation I’m working is both original and deployable on a global scale.
We should never stop learning, once we do, we stop living. The idea of something abstract in nature, yet solving major challenges and enhancing the lives of billions of humans is not only fascinating, I also find it appealing. Hence my budding enthusiasm for Tech over the last few months, and as each day passes. I realized earning on my own would take time, but just like Apostle Paul who went to Arabia and learned when ministry was beckoning. Planet Nest, a development hub in Akure, Ondo state happens to be my new-age Arabia, where I currently intern as a Web and Software development alongside other superior engineers. To achieve my aim, I know it would require sets of interlocking discoveries, also I’ve come to realize that strong networks like the ones I’m making here would enable communication, collaboration, and coordination that in turn would facilitate a great innovation.
1. Ideas on what I can build with technology,
2. The available markets for my technological-inclined practical and scalable solution,
3. The means of reaching my target markets,
4. The talent to build my startup into a giant corporation, and
5. The business models to sustain and grow the startup.
Most of the apparent questions, would determine the success of my startup. I’ve learnt over the years, that there is no shortcut for the learning process, as expression without solid foundation and experience would result in mediocrity. And If I ever fail at my startup, which I seriously doubt, it would be a win-win for me, because I would have failed forward and progressively. I could easily rejoin the labour market without a gap/break in my job history, and also with wealth of invaluable experience.
Welcome to the future!
Career / What To Know About Money by tundefamuyide(m): 3:06pm On Oct 09, 2017
It hurts me so much these days, knowing that the teeming population of youth in Nigeria have resorted into Advance Fee Fraud and Gambling. Government hasn’t done much to help though, considering how it handled the economy and piloted the affairs of the nation. We’re plagued with bad policies and incessant corruption. None of the aforementioned should justify why we the youths have derailed morally to embrace FRAUD and GAMBLING. The former and latter are insidious habits that gradually reduces any hope of legitimate success. It forms a pattern for what they would do continually, to sustain and earn a living. Arguing in favour of the latter is mootable considering its economic benefits, how it create jobs for people, enrich a few, while impoverishing the rest in the process. Folks engaged in both feel no remorse whatsoever for what they do nowadays. They even swash and brag about it on the social media. It’s disheartening to learn that kids now want to emulate them, and toe the line of such horrid and odious counterculture. I respect these set of people as human though, because they happen to fall into one or many of the following categories my; friends, families, neighbours and acquaintances.
Money isn’t cash, which is what these people don’t understand, it is value. The real money is actually invisible, it is the output of a productive mind (not the type of Yahoo Yahoo sleepless night), and it only come to us, in exchange for problems solved. Whatever problem you can solve for people around you, that’s your own means of making money. The factors that however determine how much money you make are;
1. How quick you are to locate the problems you can solve?
2. Who you know, that has one problem or the other (A need you can meet)?
3. Where they are (Location)?
4. How best you can solve the problems? (Proficiency and Excellence)
The more problems you can solve, the more money you attract, simply find that thing you are super passionate about, develop your talents, add value to people’s lives, and deliberately use it to create value and enrich yourself. Of recent, I returned to the student environment, where I’ve spent most of my adult life. My career, everything I had done revolved around students in various locations, but ASUU was on strike, and I couldn’t access my greatest market for demand. I felt it, as my earnings over the period was significantly low. I had to source for a new market that requires my services and skillsets. I know the students terrain so well, that I can actually write a guide or a model for students on their “inter-dependent economy” within tertiary Institutions in the country.
On meeting people’s needs, the perfect example was my proprietor in secondary school, I heard the stories of how he started as a lesson teacher, before conceptualizing starting a school. Not just any type of school, but the type that would meet standards. The early days were rough, I learnt people disrespected him, and looked down on him. But he persevered and remained focused on achieving his aims and objectives, which were later improved upon and up-scaled. He understood the concept above. He saw the need for quality education, as the system was deficient, he knew people in Akoko and Ondo state at large needed quality education, so He mapped out a plan, and worked assiduously towards providing the quality educational services the people so much desired. Years along, it is now a success story, as the school has produced excellent students that I’m proud to be part of, on top of that, he became a prominent figure and a household name in Ondo state. The wealth he acquired over the years, is just one of the many perks that came with his passion to serve and help humanity.
I’ve written severally on how I and my friends made cool money legitimately while in school, it was the same for some of my various acquaintances. It made me realize that the right entrepreneurship knowledge generates the same order of results everywhere. You may be a fashion designer, an MC who compere events, or a Disc Jockey, Graphic designer, Portrait artist, Photographer, Content writer, Social Media Manager/Digital strategist, Caterer, Programmer, Logistics Manager, Actor/Actress and Artist. The list goes on and on for all value adding services:
On how best you can solve the looming problems: I would advise that you acquire more knowledge (Not necessarily academic), seek avenues to continually improve your talents, volunteer, attend seminars and developmental trainings then watch yourself become transformed and soar. Opportunities abound everywhere, just for you to position yourself strategically so as to experience the change you desire, don’t wait for one, instead go and work for it.

Career / Voyage Into A New Territory by tundefamuyide(m): 2:41pm On Sep 30, 2017
Career paths in our dispensation have been described as “boundary-less”. The process of building our respective careers involves accruing various experiences under different managers, across varying work content within multiple organizations. What we seek growth-wise at various points would alter or guide our course, but in all we seek situations that aligns with our current career vision. The flu x I experienced recently scared me initially, but then having read extensively on it, I discovered new information which I’m about to share, you might benefit from it likewise. Future forward: It was once a long-term passion that I envisioned in distance, I had a role aligned with my experience and skill-sets, and not my education. But as I grew in ranks here, another career step developed in my back pocket, which served as a great motivator. While at it, I was building infrastructure for the miles ahead, developing new skill-sets became imperative for my dreams to come to fruition. The organizations I have volunteered and worked for in the past years contributed towards building my foundational skills and also presented the opportunities for me to build great networks; having met with bunch of talents across various fields, startup owners, serial entrepreneur, CEO's and business moguls in Media, Outsourcing/Management, Tech and Financial institutions. New progressive: My current phase, here I intend to break the mold. My aim is to build a new career path for myself, while integrating models and disruptive elements “technology” all combined with my current area of expertise in Human Relation and Management. Currently, I’m interning as a software and web developer, so as to gain necessary and needed experience to further develop my skill-sets for my new career path. This path provides a high tolerance for ambiguity and exploration, along with a healthy dose of “progressive ambition”, as the steps of my new path in Tech reveal itself with further training and learning as the time goes on. It provides the opportunity for my various skill-sets to co-exist, that others may not envision together. Perhaps you’ve also wondered of recent, why you’re not satisfied with your current role? Or you feel the urge to try something new? Or maybe feel stuck at your current job and desire progress? Taking actions to know yourself is important, learn to build awareness concerning how your needs evolve over time. To explore your growth state needs, ask the following questions like I’ve done.
Do you feel disjointed from your job of recent?
Are you leaning toward stability or change/challenge at this point in time?
Have your growth needs tended to shift significantly over time or have they remained constant?
Recall a time when you were satisfied with your career growth. How did your growth needs align with your role?
Think of a time when you were frustrated, overwhelmed or disappointed with your path. What was happening?
Do you lean towards being proactive or relatively passive where career growth is concerned?
Career / The ASUU Strike That Changed My Life For Good. by tundefamuyide(m): 5:08pm On Aug 18, 2017
The 2013 ASUU strike which started on the 1st of July 2013 seemed like a relief at first from the rigorous school work and syllabus, but as the strike proceeded it became nettlesome. I would never have imagined a strike action lasting that long. The steps I took during that period which lasted for (5) five months and (15) fifteen days however changed the course of my life for good. A week after the announcement, I left for home, this reunited me with my peers who I had not seen in a while. We were all back at home, thanks to ASUU, because our various schools Academic Calendar differs. Nobody knew for how long the strike action would last, we all hoped to get back to our various schools as soon as possible. Days turned into weeks gradually, weeks into months. The excitement we had re-uniting with each other at first had weaned off, we had become familiar with ourselves again, and most our parents had begun to complain about our excesses.
Prior to the strike, I was in Part-Three second semester at the Federal University of Technology Akure (FUTA). Part three students must select one out of various Entrepreneurship courses, I opted for “Communication Skills”. The training was nearing its completion before the strike action ensued, so we all left for our various homes without getting our certificates. Since the training was an affiliation program outside the school environment, it was possible for me to return to Akure and complete my training in the act of public speaking. I was already bored at home, I discussed with my Dad to allow me return to Akure and complete my vocational training, to which he agreed. I was elated! At the completion of my training on “The Act of Public Speaking”, I couldn’t return home to deal with idleness also coupled with the fact that I wasn’t interested in my Dad’s business, because I wanted something new and challenging. After exhausting the cash I was given for upkeep while leaving home, I needed another source of income to remain in Akure, and to prove a point that I could actually take care of myself. I drafted my resume and applied for some jobs, myself and a friend Abiola Owolewa. I offered my services as a volunteer at the firm where I had undergone my training earlier on, I was accepted. I sent my resume to the community radio FUTA 93.1FM, as a Sport Analyst, and also to a Hotel as a cleaner. I passed my interview at the community radio, and got on the radio as an analyst. The response from the hotel came at a much later date, by then my volunteering experience in an administrative role at LEAD Initiatives was really interesting and exciting, so I declined the offer to work in the hotel (Another student from my school got this job). Abiola also got a job as an administrative assistant in a dealership.
Volunteering is actually very rewarding, I got stipends from both jobs and I was able to live on that. I would resume very early at 7am in the morning for my radio analyst job, then return to resume at 8am for my administrative job and close around 4pm. I would relax then return to the radio station for the evening broadcast. My role as an administrative assistant and radio analyst, prepared me for all the other tasks I later undertook in my work experience. It created various opportunities and positioned me for growth and exposure. I was studying Microbiology in the University then, but I learned about Bookkeeping, Planning and Scheduling, Documentation, Research works, I really learned on the jobs, I managed documents and files, learnt about logistics, equipment and storage, assisted in various daily operations, general office support, I learnt about CorelDRAW, presentations, typically using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook). My volunteering experience introduced me to Professionalism, it made me Well-Organized, Courteous and Reliable. I developed a strong work ethic, Problem solving and Critical thinking skills, Good Interpersonal and Communication skills, Multitasking ability. At the end I was exposed to Teamwork and Collaboration, I had more Discretion and was more Focused.
I made new contacts with young vibrant minds like myself over this period of time, also met with dignitaries and other important personalities in government positions then in our society. People like Gov. Olusegun Mimiko, former Minister of Aviation Chief Fani-Kayode, former Minister of Agriculture Dr. Akinwumi Adesina, and former President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan. I realized that I could be more and do more, this spurred me to achieve even greater things. Ever since, every break from school was utilized for volunteering and learning something new. All these were my building blocks and prepared me better for now. The following year in Part IV for example, getting an internship placement wasn’t difficult, I interned with uac foods. While still in school, I also handled ancillary jobs for Top-notch organizations like NBC (CocaCola), Human Capital Partners (HCP), Worldview International, Etisalat and others.
The 2013 experience kick-started all the transformation I had undergone, and is still responsible for the meaningful strides I am taking currently. I have had plenty of room for growth while volunteering, my involvement in lots of transformational projects across the country over the years as a project assistant has also equipped me with advanced skills needed to thrive and excel in the corporate world. In the process, I have also evolved into an idea-machine and an employable graduate. Dear undergraduates, you can’t afford to sit at home doing nothing during this period. Endeavour to build capacity and add more value to yourselves, there are lots of things you can do. Some examples listed below;
1. Learn a Craft: You can learn Furniture making, Hair styling/Barbing, Make-Over, Fashion Design, Bead Making, Tie and Dye and lots more. You get to make extra bucks for yourself.
2. Professional Certification: There are lots of courses you can take, write the exams and get certified. PMT, NIM, MCP and lots more. It is helpful for your Resume/CV
3. Volunteering/ Paid Internship: Find a firm who specialize in your field of study, offer your services as a volunteer or intern and learn on the job. Like what Mark Essien of Hotels.ng is offering. It is helpful for your Resume/CV
4. Implement your Ideas: Do you have a business idea? Now would be the time to explore your ideas, even if you fail, fail forward and learn. Start a poultry, fishery, farming and lots more.

I was actually expecting to see the corpse move or fly on its own, and to hear it mention the name of the killer.
I wonder too, they should have dropped the coffin and see if the coffin would move on its own. Abegii No F to give on this issue.
