So, I met this great guy online. After 2 weeks, we met in person and everything was perfect.

It's almost 2 months since we have been together.

He asked me out while we were together and I gladly said yes. (I have met a lot of players�). So while we were together, a discussion popped up and he said he can't discuss anything related to marriage until after 6 months. I pretended not to hear.

Then one night, we were talking and he said I "see my wife as my responsibility"

He is actually okay, he has two cars but importantly, he has sense and he is very hard-working. But he is very principled and we have actually had several instances where he doesn't pick my calls at night. It happens often but I am starting to trust him, because sometimes I call by 5am and he picks and says he slept off. Sometimes we would be chatting on WhatsApp and after I call him 20 minutes later, he won't respond. He is not married!

So, I currently earn 450k monthly and I have been able to save something meaningful, so I can start a good business before getting married or after. I haven't stated because I don't know which one yet. I started a restaurant business when I was 23 but it failed.

If I ask him and he says 1 year, of course, I can wait. I will be 26 years next year April.

We will seeing for the 2nd time next week. I plan to ask him when he sees himself getting married but I am scared and the way he carries himself makes me reluctant to ask such.

About two weeks ago, I wanted to even surprise him with gifts. I asked for his account number and office/home address. (He picked me up the last time I traveled to see him, so I don't know the address". Well, he didn't give me these details. He said when it's time I will have them.

I would like to settle before 27. Is it bad that I am thinking this way? If he says he is looking to get married in 2-3 years, i think it's a bit far. 2023 is still fine. But the problem is he doesn't really sound like marriage is on his mind. He will be 32 next year April too.

We vibe a lot. But he says I love you sparingly. Sometimes I say it and he doesn't respond, he will say tomorrow I will tell u or no, I told u yesterday.

But we are really really cool. I like him a lot and he likes me but I think I like him more. He gives me attention, I don't have to ask.

If I was 23, I won't have a problem waiting 3-4 years. But since I am ready mentally, financially, I am looking for someone who wants it within 6 months to 1 year. I can still try to do 2 years if I get someone great.

Why are you so desperate about getting married is it that you feel you are getting old, or maybe you are been pressured by your parents or friends? Look before you leap ooh it is better to cry in "boyfriend and girlfriend situationship", than to cry inside marriage that is suppose to be enjoyed.

The truth is not just reforming schools in Nigeria but reforming the country as a whole because bully is just like a norm in Nigeria and it comes in different form, places and sectors. all that is needed is to put a law in place anyone found guilty should be made to serve some jail sentence or something more severe. I doubt shall if this idea go work for Nigeria because the country spoil nor be small.

I need your honest opinions about my relationship.

My girlfriend and I have been dating for quite a while but I don't know what is happening at the moment.

The problem is this, we both live in the UK. We have made plans to get married and we have plans to start up a business in Nigeria. The truth is that she kept some money with me and I used it to sort some debts out but was planning to give the money back to her when she is ready to leave for Nieria.

What really happened was that there was a certain money given to me by another to help him send down to Nigeria. Out of trust, I told another friend of mine to handle the transaction but unfortunately it all went sideways. So I had to use the money with me to sort the debt out while I recover the other from my other friend.

My girlfriend has been asking me for the money and I lied to her that it's in my account but there has been sort of a problem with it which she believed. The day she was suppose to go to Nigeria, she still asked about it and she told me if I was busy my friend (she knows the guy) can pick up the money for her because she needs to sort some things out enroute to Nigeria. I called my friend and told him to lie to her that the money is with him and I will know what to tell her till I can recover the money from him.

Later that day, she called me and was crying that I betrayed her. She told me everything that happened to her money which means my friend must have told her. She hung up. I tried calling my friend, he has blocked me. Lots of things were through my mind. Dont know what to do. She sent me a few messages and blocked me on both WhatsApp and via calls. When she got to Nigeria that same day, she unblocked me. She told me I have to pay and I said yes I will. I admitted I lied and I tried to explain to her why I lied. Its been a week. I have tried apologizing twice. She read it and ignored me. I told her send me the account she wants the payment. She didn't reply. Fortunately I have her brother's account number and sent her 70 percent of her money and I sent her the receipt too. I only managed to get that amount after selling my car off with a few gadgets and electronics in my house.

I don't know whether to just forget about her or to wait till when she is ready to talk.

She has done outrageous things in past which I have overlooked also. I have even resulted maybe she has another person with in Nigeria and I should just move on.

Good you apologized is normal to be angry she go forgive you but go and sin no more. Next time no matter how critical the situation is always tell the truth goes a long way in softening things no matter what.

My time in school was fun shall because I nvr gave anyone that leg to oppress me ooh I stubborn but I try as possible to respect and mind my business but oppression or bully never experienced it, and hopefully my children go collect orientation as per nor find trouble but nor give any body ground to oppress you.

Why did i say that
I notice few things about a few authors who are very good on here on how they make it on nl as a writer
1. As a writer on nairaland try to be very good in the way you write that your readers Will be able to picture everything,let them.get glued to your story,captivated,make your name a household on nl,check the number of views and the rate at which ppl drop commemt when you are slow in updating the story will determine how much they love your story
2. As a writer if you dont want them to steal your ideas upload half of your story look for where the suspense is high end it their as part 1 then tell them to co contact you via email or whatsapp for the part 2 at the rate of 500 if your story is very good at a minimum you will have not less than 20 people who will contact you
Or you should do it like this
I have an author here who only update once a week but at the end of each update he always put "contact me for the next update via 09066666666666 it got to a stage i read the story to a part i knew if i dont contact this author i and pay 50 naira i wont concentrate on anything i chatted him up transferred the 50 naira but after reading it i couldnt take it again paid another so anytime the update is ready he upload it on his whatsapp status and he did more than 65 episode and i paid for it all
