plaetton: Let me repeat to you as I have repeated to many of you goddists, Atheism, the rejection of the belief in a celestial puppet master, god, is not a philosophical proposition.
Atheists don't get together to agree on a list of dos and don'ts.
What Atheists have in common is the rejection of primitive fables and beliefs about an omnipotent deity who supposedly created the universe with a wave of a wand.
Atheists gravitate to, and accept the scientific explanations on the origin of the universe. It makes more sense and is an ongoing quest, where ideas are debated,tested, and revised from time to time.

You guys always seem to assume that an atheist needs, as a basic requirement, a complete knowledge of quantum physics.
No, that is not so. No expert knowledge is required, just common sense and an open mind.

If you are lacking in proper scientific knowledge, well, like I advised before, there is place called school, and another called the library. Acquaint yourself with these places. They might be able to help you.
And also, If you disagree with the accepted scientific notions, you are very very free to present your own for peer review and debate. That is how knowledge evolves.
Do not depend on atheists for your scientific education because atheists, as a group, have made no claims whatsoever to be the sole custodians of scientific knowledge.

The soul, as energy, is outside our range of sensory perception, as do most other forms of energy.

As for the brain being able to harmonise energy , yes. I believe, with great conviction, that the brain has super-conducting properties. If you know anything about superconductivity, you will agree that super-conductors have the ability to conduct and harmonise energy through space,dimensions and possibly time.
Therefore a superconducting substance would be a perfect bridge between our 3-dimensional reality and perhaps others.

Now, if the brain, as I am convinced, is a super conductor, the brain would be the interface between our physical reality and other cosmic realities.
The brain would serve , in this case, as the conduit for flow of energy to and fro other realities.

This is why I think that religion(the worship of a god) is big mistake.
Man is a micro-universe , and contains, and is connected within himself, the entire universe.


We were all there at the beginning of the universe, and we are all immortal.
We are all gods, we are all creators.

Therefore, true religion would involve self discovery,harmonising our mind and tuning into the right frequencies to allow the infusion of cosmic energy from without.

Personally, You can say that I accept the existence of a soul, but not in a religious or spiritual sense.
I see the soul, both personal and universal, as a form of energy existing outside our 3 dimensional range of perception. Everything exists as a duality, first in its physical 3-dimensional form, and secondly, in its energy form or configuration that animates it.

In the case of humans, our super-conducting brain has the ability, acquired and honed through eons of biological evolution, to aggregate and harmonise all that free energy to flow in a coherent and consistent manner.

That is what may be called the human soul.
Therefore, the human soul most likely evolved in the same manner as human biology, and therefore, is a work in progress.
