Mcy56:Mercy it's been released,I just reconfirmed . EPS dropped from 31kobo in 2019 to 25kobo in 2020. I boarded the bus at Kilometer N5.20. Na make holy spirit come take steering we dey pray now . ![]() |
Valueinvestor:Be careful with how you watch the bolded company in 3D, I am close to a top stakeholder there. Their style need more scrutiny. ![]() |
dinyelutochukwu:No problem Baba your point is well noted. I don't just want us to get to that point where analysis of the gurus here cannot be questioned. Sorry if you find the portion in bold distasteful. |
Tvegas:Above is my post about the Health sector performance in relation to the Covid19 Lockdown in March when there was so much bullish talk about the sector. Fidson has dropped a good result in Half year 2020 , while GSK results was very flat. For now, I will attribute any good result from that sector to individual company positioning, strategy and performance . But the idea that the entire sector is the biggest beneficiary from the Lockdown should be reconsidered. |
dinyelutochukwu: Ehuatamuigunisi:I guess my point is wrongly interpreted , Contrary to what you guys may think I follow OGGs post regularly. I also use his posts to benchmark some of my stock picks. Previously he had written and I quote that " Has the appreciation in Neimeth happened so shall Wapco and UACN rise" . Wapco has obviously turned the corner, while UACN obviously hasn't turned the corner. He is probably an analyst hence my advice to him to prepare a disclaimer if things continue to go south. The man has stuck to his gun which is commendable. So guys you need to really calm down . No one is condemning OGG for what he has called right or what he has called wrong. Critical reasoning and conversations is part of me. People are using comments on this page to invest millions so every critical argument should be accommodated. I appreciate intelligent conversations but not hero worship. |
onegentleguy:They should Hold UACN and target N13 till one year ,two years or three? When you are not on the board of UACN? I will advise investors to sell this stock and buy another that will give them peace of mind with interim dividend on top but at the end to each his own. We will continue to follow this one. |
Justcul:UACN don cast for now jare. I warned people here about UPDC months ago but some members thought I was a doomsday prophet. My information was actually from a member of its finance department. UPDC remains the Problem Child of the group. However, I still wish the unbundling crew the best outcome . It's never good losing money . |
onegentleguy:How far with UACN? They returned loss during Covid from from 1.2 billion profit in 2019 to 500million loss in 2020. This company is poorly managed and not out of the woods as many assume. The unbundling is a no brainer and it would have really helped the ordinary shareholders but it seems the management have sinister motives. I will suggest you issue a disclaimer on this stock very soon especially with their unbundling noise that have died down? |
RabbiDoracle:Baba Go easy on the guy, he probably saw things from a different angle. See results as if Covid didn't happen. ![]() The last set of entities I can ever pity are Nigerian banks, if you cry for them you are just wasting your tears. For any fresh charge imposed by the CBN na you and I go pay am. They will transfer every every to you, including the unborn charges. So I was smiling when I read about how they were being treated by CBN. On pe ![]() |
BrokerHaruna:The risks are real , so what will happen? They will fold up, declare losses or not pay dividends? None of these risk stated will affect the UGZ (UBA,Zenith and GTB). I don't have enough information on Fbnh and Access to make a claim. Those 3 banks behave like chameleon ,they've mastered the art of thriving in the Nigeria murky waters. As far as you still use your ATM or spend money those banks will always make money. Stop the fear mongering if you are not bold enough to state what will befall the banks. Even in crisis people still make money. |
Princkez:Between N15 to N20 |
SIR0:You've advised yourself nothing more can be added just move on and look for wife elsewhere. Obviously you are not matured enough to handle her past. This is why I don't believe girls should tell it all some guys can't handle it. It's not her fault and it's neither your fault. |
Mspwety1:Thank you for the bolded, I have been reading and smiling from the sideline. If you, your father or forefathers have never been enslaved it will be ignorant of you to come out and say some blacks like Obama revel in victimhood. If you or your relatives never experienced slavery first hand ,please keep your mouth shut and dont ever deride the pathetic status of the Black Americans. A lion released after being caged for so long may never leave it's cage believing that it's still in bondage. The Facts: The easiest way to get Jailed in America is by being black, the easiest means of getting shot by the police is by being black. if you are black In the corporate world know that there is a ceiling in place for you, hence your chances of attaining the top spots are limited though not impossible. This post is directed to Lordadam16 and his cohorts most likely Nigerians who migrated to America. |
emmanuelewumi:The way you expressed Crashcraft uselessness got me laughing . 13 years ago Cashcraft, BGL, Aims and Asset were the rave of the moment. What happened to these guys?It seems they snatched defeat from the jaws of victory. |
NSEstudent:They are doing well, the strategies they've deployed also came out well. Do you expect them to cry? |
Oasis007:Bar the trio of Ighalo, Romero and Mctom, Our bench is poor. |
RabbiDoracle:Why you like trouble like this, please no allow Mercy see the part in bold . ![]() |
ukay2:Even when audited ,I don't expect any significant deviation from mean. The major problem seems to have been the management of Finance Cost which dropped from N13billion in 2019 to N4billion now. |
Tvegas:l mentioned this weeks ago. Wapco remains one of the most undervalued stocks on the NSE. When it's bull run starts no one will be able to catch it. This stock shouldn't be selling for less than N30 right now. BUA paid a dividend of N1.75kobo out of N1.79 made in FY 2019. Wapco Half year EPS Is already N1.48 kobo. Full year may witness up to N2.50kobo EPS or more as things stand. Tell me a more underrated stock. Buying more on Monday.Result looks forged and unreal. |
ojeysky:Interim dividend was 30k Final dividend was 2.50. Total dividend was 2.80 Interim dividend is paid in September, Final dividend is paid in March. |
emmanuelewumi:Baba, you have to sieve the content of the book. Some of the content are dangerous if not properly interpreted and adapted to our culture. |
ositadima1:Quote me in the future, prices are not going back to the march low for now even if most companies declare losses. Unilever should have declined by 10% today if poor results will lead to low prices. I have said it before and I will say it again, as soon as this Forex disparity is resolved the market will move. It may happen earlier but not later. |
RabbiDoracle:Absolute truth, Peter has also been quiet for sometime now. If it's before you would hear things like " Guinness and UACN are picking passengers at K12, heading to km 20". The Current lull don humble everybody. A good time for Dividend investors to buy though. |
bigjay01:The hustle was real in those years. I think chams was even oversubscribed as some funds were returned . What of Food concepts, Geofluid, IAA, Universal , Union bank properties and so many private placement that failed?. In short for every 1 private placement that came out good, 10 had failed. My summation of this market is that whether you go long term or short term . Dont sleep with your 2 eyes closed. As a long term investor book profit from time to time and move those funds to other classes of investment like bonds and real estate. How does one explain Zenith selling for N11 in 2010 and still sold for N11 in 2020?. Are we growing backward? If we follow the patterns of blue chip stocks on the NYSE Zenith should be ranging between N25 year low and N45 year high for the past 5 years. So many things on the NSE beats commonsense. |
Mcy56:Wicked ![]() GonFreecss1: ![]() |
Mcy56:I like his spirit, make he do quick and determine the closing market price on this one again with his volume. |
phoinix:Your stockbrokers must really love you, you are working hard for them. Infact, you are doing well. |
Northeastern:Churches should be the least of your problem because when the government fails people will turn to the supernatural for succour. Elect responsible leaders and hold them accountable. |
Chibuking81:Within the same timeframe loco would have done 3 trips on fcmb. ![]() |
Nigsrdumb:That's why that market is crashing soon, reason and reality has been thrown out the window. |
Mcy56:Mcy can be so emotional about stocks where she is invested. No one dares touch them, Japaul the gold digger comes to mind. No one would have been bothered with UACN but for the members waxing lyrical on this July Unbundling. No show for july and you dont want us to laugh? My dear sister, please dont put too much money here because part 2 no go funny. . |

You no see Fred?!
