You're quite shallow. The only reason I mentioned my qualification was because you insinuated I couldn't get admitted for an MSc programme.

This back and forth argument is getting stale and unnecessary. While you might like dragging irrelevant issues, remember we're derailing from the purpose of this thread.

Act your age.
You’re simply projecting. Shallow? Lol you started talking of having a first class and that you can’t be rejected anywhere as if that was some sort of achievement. I mentioned that to let you know you’re simply a dime a dozen. You didn’t seem to be interested in the purpose of the thread previously... take your own advice brother. grin

My job is often to make sure that rabble rousers like you don’t think you’re anything special, just because you have a deep repertoire of cheap vitriol. Take a seat please.

Twoods if I may ask, when u were in Nigeria and struggling to leave Nigeria did you have this mindset?
Absolutely yes. I never would have left to be honest. I loved living in Nigeria, it was fun. But that’s really where it ends. The problem with Nigeria isn’t so much the corruption, lawlessness and mediocrity, it’s the fact that the people accept it as a way of life, have no interest in changing and insult you for demanding better... all while wasting everyone’s time at holyghost conventions of course.

Keep encouraging toxicity. There are lots of non-toxic people here with way more meaningful contributions and the right mindset.
I think anyone with any shred of common sense can tell the toxicity was solely from you. I stated facts, you didn’t like them so you resorted to base insults and empty boasts.

You mean the Estonia I rejected? I've got a first class honours in Software Engineering from a British University and I can't get denied admission anywhere. I even got Estonia and the rest before I completed my dissertation. You're a nuisance.

I shouldn't be responding to you.
I’ve got a first class too, with a PhD. So what?

Lmao bruv... some people are so selfish and self-centered. It's so disheartening. I can't even fathom
Selfish how? Are you currently not living in a country? Why do you think Americans don’t have a right to decide who enters their borders? 80 of you were indicted for crimes just yesterday... speaking of selfishness.

Lmfao I'm chilling in the UK bruv and I've never been rejected in any of the aforementioned countries. Unlike you, I can't waste my time digging into the post history of a nuisance.

To show maturity and concern for the rest of the good and genuine people of this thread, I wouldn't like to derail or go personal.

This is where I draw the curtain with you.

Bless!
Any reason you cant call UK home or have they denied you a stay once you’re done with school? Is it not true you’ve applied to schools in Estonia and Canada and failed to get in? Who’s deceiving who?

You can't even answer my questions without spewing gibberish. Blowing unnecessary grammar doesn't mean you have sense. Keep being a nuisance

Peace -_-
You don’t have the grammar or smarts to have a rational discuss either. You’re simply an over entitled rabble rouser who thinks the rest of the world owes you because you breath. I ran through your post history quickly... no surprise. A confused economic refugee who’s applied everywhere from Estonia to Canada to Australia to the US and rejected everywhere... serious countries are not interested in your “positive” contribution. I guess like me, they can smell hubris a mile away.

Many of you get visas then disgrace us with FBI indictments later... every year sharing the same national origin as you weighs heavier and heavier. Disgraceful.

Why didn't you do the same? Instead you ran away to get married to a so-called "patriotic" American that should have advised you to come back and fix your country.

PRACTISE WHAT YOU PREACH!
More ad hominem to cover for your intellectual inadequacy. Stay home and fix your country. Folks like you, with your unbridled and unearned sense of entitlement and hubris are why Nigeria is what it is today. As long as it remains that way, I’ll be wishing you good luck from my deck chair here... far away from your culture of nauseating mediocrity.

Tightening the borders means making it hard for genuine and talented immigrants to come in and contribute positively to the society. Maybe the first step your patriotic wife would have taken was refusing to marry to an immigrant like you. She should have advised you to return back to your home country to fix things.

Shey you think say you wise? undecided
Explain why you think you have a right to come in and contribute “positively” to American or Australian society. 80 Nigerians were just arrested for massive fraud yesterday... is that your idea of your “positive” contribution?

America was successful before you, it doesn’t need your contribution. You should channel that to your homeland which is desperately in need of help.

You wouldn't be calling for the bolded above if you weren't a citizen. This simply shows selfishness and self-centeredness.
My wife is American several generations removed. I think she has a right to vote her conscience. If selfishness means protecting her country from economic refugees who don’t make it any better, so be it.

Look at the front page news today and weep.

So in essence, the good ones should suffer because of the bad eggs? The whites that carried out slave trade and contributed to this our present day crisis, why ain't they suffering the consequences? Our forefathers contributed their own quota in building the foundation they have today. Bruv, I don't even want to delve into history. The point is... one can implement a way for the good and genuine ones to have a chance.

E.g The SDS programme/initiative for Canada applicants from India. Why can't it be implemented in Nigeria too? We shouldn't pay for the sins of others!
I don’t recall Australia being involved in the slave trade. Even if they were, Nigeria has been independent for almost 60 years, why do you think it is the responsibility of modern day Australians or Canadians to take you in? You have your country they have theirs.

Why should Canada implement anything to take Nigerians in? This is not about paying for the sins of anyone, it’s about fixing your own country. When even moderate Americans like my wife are starting to complain and request canceling birthright citizenship and tighter borders, you know there is trouble on the horizon.

You're talking like I'm going to study for free.
Your warped sense of entitlement is baffling. Just because you’re paying doesn’t mean they owe you an education. You can easily get that same education in your home country, I don’t think Australia would be any worse of because you didn’t pay fees to them.

Obinwanne Okeke also paid school fees in Australia.

As if it hasn't started sef. Try applying for admission in any Australian university, once you put your nationality as Nigerian, you can't proceed. You'd be asked to contact an agent. An agent that would charge 200k+ to proceed.. this is bullsh*t meehn.
We are to blame. No country is obliged to treat us any better than we treat ourselves. And why is it their responsibility to give us decent education?

I also picked up today and was asked to schedule an interview. They want me to come with itemized bill and receipts for my childbirth on my first visa. I had renewed that visa and used it only once on a day road trip from Canada (less than 12 hours actually). The annoying thing for me is they had my passport for over 3 months, only to be told to schedule an appointment at the end. And no dates are available right now, the process can be better.
You had a baby in the US. This is now under serious scrutiny so yours is not a surprise.

No dates are available simply because too many people are applying. It’s not the process. Applications for any immigration benefits here in the US have gotten much longer in the last 2 years too. Unfortunate.

Did you travel exactly when you filled in your ds160 form? Marital status could also be a factor. All the same fear not, have faith it will be issued
Visas are not issued by faith. If an individual qualifies for one, they get it.

Hi Guys
i have a question for those who are already in university of New Haven or Connecticut in general...What is the best transportation from JFK to New Haven..
i was thinking of going to Grand Central with the airport train and taking the metro to UNH but it doesn't sound plausible with all my luggages.I also looked into airport shuttles and they are going for 59$ sad
Please help

Nigerians are funny. Paying the fee does not entitle you to faster service. How many government agencies in Nigeria collect fees and deliver nothing... yet they complain about the US consulate? grin

The problem is simple and staring us in the face - there are wayyyyy toooooo many applicants... simple.

What else is making your government mad at birth tourist if not an in-house fraudulent matter? Were people not using this same bills to draw up birthing plan/budget a while ago and getting visas approved, renewed and having no issues with CBP? I even now believe that your VOs are too embarrassed and ashamed to let us know the big fraud happening behind us, perpetrated by your health system, that is why this whole birthing wahala remains shrouded in secrecy and all.
People were using fake bank accounts to obtain visas years ago too... oftentimes loopholes go unnoticed before someone figures it out and stops it. The fraud is not on the part of the health system here, i feel that is the excuse Nigerians have come up with to give themselves cover or assuage their own guilt.

Even if such fraud existed, it is not up to you to exploit it. American hospitals don't require visas, you do.

Do you have a conscience at all? How do you sit down to construct these, @the bolded?
He is absolutely right. The vast majority of folks who do this here in Texas are poor, illegal immigrants from Mexico, El Salvador etc. Nigerians come here and the doctors and hospitals can’t tell the difference. They are not allowed to turn you away by law so they’ll be happy to take anything you can pay...

The VOs aren’t stupid. They are asking specific questions for a reason. We can play dumb all we want.

That's what all ILLEGALS do, you gave an American address, you are paying cash, no credit, no insurance, it means you are illegal and you are poor, no job or a drug addict. But this loophole works only once, you get out of US, no more benefits for you and no more coming to give another birth using this loophole. Now wait until your American child becomes 21, has a house and a job in USA and invites you to live there. Simple like that. Never again even a simple US tourist visa.
Absolutely correct. That’s exactly the point the VOs are raising and Nigerians are pretending not to understand. Texas is particularly targeted because of the large volume of Mexican and South American immigrants who have long been doing this.

That’s why costs are lower in states like Texas but not hinterland areas like Illinois, Georgia, New Jersey, New York.
