Do you know what happens to unstable and poor countries which suddenly become rich with help of their natural resources Look at south Sudan for example Easy money to illiterates will bring more harm than good |

68816419: Thank you, But i feel Nairobi can do same, what the city coucil needs is to set up a body that regualtes and controls the affairs of the systems, lagos first phase of the Lagos BRT was opened on 17 March 2008, although it was initially slated for opening in November 2007. The initiative to build the system was initiated by the government of the previous governor, Bola Tinubu.It goes from Mile 12 through Ikorodu Road and Funsho Williams Avenue up to CMS. At the moment, the Lagos BRT Corridor has been extended from Mile 12 to Ikorodu, which is the second phase of BRT implementation. With the approval of Governor Akinwunmi Ambode, the construction of a new BRT corridor along Oshodi to Abule-Egba has commenced under the supervision of LAMATA. 26 bus shelters are offered along the Mile 12-CMS road; three bus terminals are also placed along the corridor (at Mile 12, Moshalashi and CMS), with the bus terminal at CMS designed to integrate with transport modes of rail and ferry that are planned for future construction by LAMATA. Performance
The pilot BRT Lite scheme has performed creditably since operations commenced in March 2008;
1. Over 400 million passengers has been carried in the last five years 2. Average daily ridership is 180,000 passengers 3. Average Load factor of 800 passengers carried per bus daily 4. Average daily trip per day is 5 5. Average waiting time is 15 minutes 6. Average speed is 30km/h
Nairobi should start its BRT system from CBD En-route langata road, CBD - Mombasa road and CBD to Thika Highway . as a pilot scheme Brt will not solve any traffic jams in nairobi |

Acadavah: Ok bro. We are ahead in food security and sufficiency. In Health care now the government is make sure there is at least 1 health centre in each village and 1 Hospital in each District, also 1 referal hospital in each Region. So those villages, Districts and Regions which didn't have government health centre, Hospital and referal hospital now there is construction. Most of those places there were private or religious most Catholic and Lutheran Hospitals. We will catch up with you soon in Healthcare. There is no malnutrition in Tanzania. Kenya has just launched universal healthcare pilot phase i hope you know what that means |

Acadavah: Kenya has irrigated land of 1030 sqkm(est 2012) while Tanzania has 1840 sqkm(est 2012) and we still have plenty of seasonal rain that's why your government beg ours to sell you maize when you are starving. In Tanzania we produce rice, maize, cassava, potatoes, banana, millet, sorghum etc and you Kenyans depend on us to sell to you. We are not lazy, infact gallivant, your so ignorant with blatant claims. I have respect for tylann, he have some reasoning but only not in Turkana issue. Kenya imports maize and other food stuff from tanzania to meet demand Kenya experiences adverse weather conditions If not for drought ,fall armyworms come from no where and destroy all crops |
Foreign Affairs › Re: Kenya Is Ahead of Nigeria In All Aspect (Facts Don't Lie) by tylann: 3:18pm On May 30, 2019 |
Kazikazi: We banned exportation of cereals last year,then u suffered a huge deficits to the point of burrying many people in Turkana because of hunger early in this year.That is because we didn't export our agriculture stuff to u fellows.
Your 11% is alot.We have a country like Namibia which has only 1% of arable land but they don't starve to death like Kenyans. The reason? Namibia has modern farming techniques. Even in blue economy, Namibia have done very well.
Kenya isn't in transition. You are stuck in old farming methods. You aren't near to modernity. Just swallow ur pride and come to the united republic to learn! Namibia is a rich country it is full of diamonds and it has a low population Don't compare apples to oranges |

Acadavah: Hoima Tanga was planned to start June 2019. LNG plant is a private investment of exxon mobil, royal dutch etc so they did plan it to start 2022.
The terms and conditions of Bagamoyo port with chinese and omanis made the now government to pause it. Even malaysia have abandoned their joint Port project with China. Okay let us wait and see iam very sure if Uganda couldn't have dumped kenya that project would have been nearing completion Your govt should learn to make deals work Not singing to us how you will overtake Mombasa port while there is nothing on the ground That LNG plant Tanzanian started singing to us in 2015 now you are pushing it 2022 How will you overtake kenya if you can't carry out a mega project successfully |
Foreign Affairs › Re: Kenya Is Ahead of Nigeria In All Aspect (Facts Don't Lie) by tylann: 12:43pm On May 30, 2019 |
