People don't eat statistics.statistics are written by men just like you and I. Statistics can easily be manipulated especially in a corrupt nation like Kenya. For instance we see your people using gumboots in funny way. It shows how many people are out of touch.They are not in this century.

You may have faith in indexes from few uncorrupted nation like Botswana or Mauritius.Don't trust even those guys like KPMG. They are corrupt too. Kpmg had serious allegations and cases of manipulating information in South Africa.

Its strange to compare Kenya and Tz. Your development are centralized around Nairobi,while Tz is spread all over. You have one real port,a busy port.But Tz has 4 active ports! Dar,Zanzibar, tanga,mtwara. Its foolish to compare a port which serves the whole of Kenya and Dar port which serves a part of Tz.

While you are busy praising indexes,the people of Samburu, Turkana,Pokot,marsabit, etc are starving! Unemployment is the highest in east Africa.Many of your people are surviving on food aid!

Tz can rebase GDP even today,we can includes many uncaptured activities and we can reach 100b even tomorrow.

This means that the avarage Ghanian can live like a King in Nigeria! Cheaper may not mean better but may mean most people are poor.If I go to Dar in Tanzania,I might buy an apartment for half the price I would buy in Nairobi or even way lesser than that,I find things cheaper.Been there and experienced it!
