Nigeria joining the trade is not good for her manufacturing industries that are still striving to survive. The following are the disadvantages if Nigeria should join such trade.
1.other countries with import duties that are very low will serve as shipping depot for goods that intend coming to Nigeria, this will make Nigerian carry d burden of paying high price to goods without even receiving any import duties on such goods
2.most companies will look for countries with attractive tax n raw materials site ,thereby the little companies we have in Nigeria will migrate off Nigeria.. Hence loss of jobs n poverty will increase
3.presently Nigeria does not export any goods non raw materials. Hence all other countries will only benefit from Nigeria while Nigeria and her struggling manufacturing industries crumble
4.developed countries patronizing Nigeria will be adulterated, since dey now have many choice to take their finished product to..hence sources of revenue will decrease.
4.price of goods will be very expensive, especially manufactured goods.cos their are much demand than supply... If u know ur economics u know what I meant.

These are the two basic steps: Step 1: Calculate wall areas. Step 2: Divide total wall area by area of one block.

Step 1:

To calculate wall areas, we will calculate the total length of walls and multiply by wall height(see plan image below).

Area=Length x Breadth, In this case since we are dealing with height,

Area=Length x Height

Calculate Length: Looking at figure 1 below,we take length of vertical walls first(from left to right), then horizontal walls(from top to bottom)

Wall 1= 8000mm , Wall2=7755mm, Wall 3=3675mm, Wall 4=4100mm, Wall 5=3900mm, Wall 6=7950mm

Wall 7=3525mm, Wall 8=5975mm, Wall 9=5600mm, Wall 10=4425mm, Wall 11=4200mm
Sum of all wall length is=59,105mm.

Use height of wall at 3000mm.

Rough wall area (Wall area including openings) =59105mmx3000mm= 177,315,000mm

Remember we have some wall openings at the entrance, doors and windows. We have to subtract areas for these to get the actual wall area:

We have 6 doors with measuring 900mmx2100mm: 6x900mmx2100mm= 11,340,000mm*2

We have 8 windows measuring 1200mmx1200mm: 8x1200mmx1200mm= 11,520,000mm2

We have 1 window measuring 600mmx600mm: 1x600mmx600mm= 360,000mm2

We have 1 opening measuring 3300mmx2100mm: 1x3300mmx2100mm= 6,930,000mm2

Add up all opening areas:

Opening area: (11,340,000+11,520,000+360,000+6,930,000) mm2= 30,150,000mm2

Subtract opening area from the rough wall area:

Actual ground floor wall area: (177,315,000-30,150,000) mm2= 147,165,000mm2

Area of foundation walls:

Also,remember we have a foundation. The foundation area depends on the number of courses laid. For this building, we use four courses of block wall as foundation (Strip foundation). This is roughly 900mm high.

We simply multiply the perimeter of walls we got in step 1 by the height of the foundation wall. Area is still length x height. But now the height is 900mm.

Area of foundation wall: 59105mmx900mm=53,194,500mm2

Total wall area = Ground floor wall area+Foundation wall area

=147,165,000mm2+53,194,500 mm2= 200,359,500 mm2



Step 2:

Area of one block is 225mmx450mm= 101,250mm2

Number of blocks is total wall area divided by area of one block:

Hence, number of blocks is:200,359,500/101,250= 1978.86 blocks

That’s approximately1,980 blocks. You may want to add a certain percentage for breakages and off-cuts. If you use good quality vibrated blocks you only need to add a little.

From the drawing,the ground floor d entrance 2 d living room is too open,exposing d room n d living to immediate visitor.also no laterall ventilation in d living room.try adjust d lobby to bent so d room door wil nt be seen frm d living room entrance and if u can amend the entrance to av immediate lobby.the first floor has much errors,entrance frm a dinning area is nt good. There is solution to it.
1.get what we called non~return valve plastic type or brass of the same pipe size you have there, call your plumber to fix it to the extreme end of pipe inside the septic tank, this valve we allow waste water into the septic tank and it will not allow water to flow in back.

2. Go and get motorcycle inner tube like 2ft long insert it to the end of the pipe inside the septic tank and leave about 1ft plus this will remain free and it will face downward , water will flow into the tank and it can't flow back through the rubber with this, it means the water will riise to the upper area above the pipe without entering the pipe back

Using this technique will lead to continuos maintenace in future cos the tank will be full easily, and d presure of d rising water wil block the tube outlet leadin to discharge from the toilet wc or slow flushing rate inside the toilet. y not stop the rate at which water sip out frm the soil

from my experience in other jobs i av supervised, i will conclude that close to the building site their is water body or canal close to the site,that is why the water bed of that septic site is raised. What you will do is this if you av a good civil engineer supervisin the site for you,
1 tell him to cast a retaining wall along the axis of the water body or canal close to ur site,you can make the fence a retaining wall instead
2 pump out d water frm d septic tank far away frm your site otherwise the water will fine its way back through underground
3 you will observe dt d water will be coming out little if the retaining wall is effective
4 as the water is been pump out form work for the septic tank will also be layed by good carpenter
5 make the formwork to come far above the surface pipe,this is to allow for settlement after casting
6 before casting pour dry cement into the septic tank,this will absorb d water and also it will make the concrete set quickly
7 when mixing use more of granite and cement or beta stil mix ratio 1:3:8, this will set quickly and will be water resistant too
you will observe the the first 2wks after casting the septic tank level outward the surface will decrease dont panic u cant excape it,is as a result of settlement, so if the septic tank is allow to exposed outward surface greatly, before it will settle by 300mm it wuld have stalk.

250k for plasterin is fair, very cheap from d plan with the number of rooms available @list 400k will finish d plasterin work neatly.but if u already see a builder dt charge u 250k bro u ar lucky(ensure d work is neat) if it not u will end payin more in serviceability stage.
