afam4eva: 95% posts that have been made on this thread were made by 1diots who'd rather believe anything that's written by our junk journalists. have any of us tried to ascertain that indeed Rochas closed down businesses in Imo state before jumping to cast aspersions. Someone in Imo state even confirmed that in his area no such thing occurred and some of you still chose the part of 1diocy and educated illiteracy.Shut up!if it was a GEJ u would have been crying blue murder, mtscheeeeeeeew hypocrite. |
Idokojimmy: I am happy that people have not registered displeasure over Govt resolve to Priotise Education, Strenghthened the Agric Sector, Make the Aviation sector and the sky safe, develop infrastructure and ensure the safety of Nigerians. We are happy the budget will create jobs, it will emancipate the women, the budget is all inclusive. If renovation is the problem then I'm surprised. We admire architectural designs put in places by other countries but fear to acquire same. Yet we are the giant, we want to remain on top. Are we going up or down. I think Dem dem will appreciate it if the Villa was a mud house..Word! |
Shaggyfreshfish: Let her be there til 2015. As for u abati, i regret eva sharing dsame nationality wit u. Bloody bootlicker! Make i go buy garri joor cos e don cost now oooooo!FOOLERY... |
Sahara!sahara!y have thou decided to ridicule and demystify urself this way, once taken as reliable source has successfully reduced itself to not only the most unreliable source of information ,but has also revealed itself as an agent of Nigeria destabilisation. So happy they have finally been exposed and people have come to know who they really are and what they want. In the words of Henry Ward Beecher"A lie is a very short wick in a very small lamp. The oil of reputation is very soon sucked up and gone. And just as soon as a man is known to lie,he is like a two-foot pump in a hundred-foot well.He cannot touch bottom at all" Naturally Sahara by now should haved bowed in shame, after all news of the world with a proven track record in journalism spanning over ten decades closed shop over phone hacking allegations. If Okey Ndibe has more ideas let him try them out,for now I doubt if this project still has any credibility. "When lies are told and forgotten, the truth will still be there".Truth must prevail. |

Mandelaguy: Running with his tails in between his legs....cowar.d,clown.You can't tell me u've not come across this brainless half wit by name DemDem,I've dealt with him in some posts in the past with his colleagues gbawe and kobojunkie,at a time it was even advised on nairaland not to take them serious cos there info and arguments are always baseless and characterized with blind critiscim and name calling, though it was realized it comes with the kind of work they are paid to do. But like a saying goes 99days for the thieves one day for the owner of the house, their lies are suddenly catching up with them, they are now plagued, people now know they trade nothing but falsehood which has been made further obvious by the fact that their anchor website for falsehood 'SaharaLiars' have been unmasked as the greatest scam online journal of our time. Every Patriotic Nigerian knows that the president did very well in presentation of the 2013 budget not only because of the timing but also cos of the distribution of the budget which is clear on the direction the govt is heading, which in my own opinion and that of other experts is a positive one. This unnecessary energy dissipated on arguing over this well thought out and articulated budget of transformation should be redirected to the NASS to help ensure speedy passage and project monitoring. Please my compatriots do not loose sleep over such sleazy characters as DemDem cos we know where they are coming from. |
When some people attack china Achebe for stating the obvious it baffles me,funnier is the fact that the Yorubas have taken it very far by calling him names, one fact remains none of u losers will ever get to the level of Achebe. |
Have I not been vindicated?yesterday when I saw the rubbish SR released about the hon minister abandoning USA cos of the protests I hurriedly countered it cos I had seen pictures and clips of the very successful parade held in new York. SR for stating the obvious is an enemy of democracy having vowed with his military friends to destabilise democracy at it's nascent days,SR's lies if chronicled cn be the best selling LIE book of our time,hw would some folks throw integrity to the winds and become sooooo economic with the truth?if not for purely selfish purpose. Is it not this same SR that has this timeline over the First Lady's health: Fl has been flown abroad for food poisoning Fl has ruptured appendicitis Fl had cosmetic surgery gone bad Fl has Parkinson's disease Fl has cancer of the uterus Aides of the Fl have been ordered to leave their hotel accommodation in preparation to the departure of Fl to Nigeria First lady has been discharged and has checked into a very luxurious hotel in Germany German doctors say Fl has not been discharged. Haba Sahara Liars!there's no one unless the blind and wicked antagonists, who has seen the pix of this parade in New York that didn't agree it was a vey successful parade.Good a thing the organisers have come out openly to counter SR on this lie,it is now for everyone of us to advise ourselves on the integrity of this desperadoes,as for me I regret ever considering their malicious and callous lies. |
acidtalk: And so what? When I hear people talk like this I can't help worrying about our direction, how would a sane human being sound this way?'1-Stella oduah's a human being and has the right to movement.2-Stella Oduah is a Minister in this regime so she represents the participation of govt in tackling this menace.and cos u don't know Stella is from Ogbaru in Anambra state. I saw Stella giving a press release few moment after the Dana crash she even shed tears which some of u antagonists will label crocodile tears, most of ur kind glory on mishaps and always pray for it to happen, but no matter what u people do I believe from the way they are going that the vision of this administration can never be derailed.Nigeria will surely be put back on the right track. |
This is a reflection of the humility and kindness that has characterised this administration, for those of u asking if this is the solution to flooding? No she will stop the rains or the ocean from overflowing. For crying out loud this is a global problem, the issue now is evacuation and emergency response which this govt has done very well and should be given kudos for. Please let's stop this useless character of celebrating evil, just to critiscise the govt. |
taharqa: God bless the President for listening to the suggestns of most Nigerians and providing grants to the affectd states and disaster management agencies. The ppl in the affectd flood areas needs all the help they can get now and in the long run. The appointment of a Private sector populatd community to mobilize fund is also sound as they are beta placd to raise and manage funds for the victims from dier fellow bizmen and d general public...Well thought out move; may God bless this nationThat's a selfless and sensitive gesture towards victims of natural disaster,God will surely bless Mr president for his kind and swift response to this. |
Gbawe: Tunde Bakare should be careful alternating between Pastor and Politician when it suits him. He cannot, as someone who ran to be Vice President of Nigeria, be "predicting" who has won an election. This is a highly irresponsible action that may lead to chaos given how religious and emotional Nigerians are.Greatest joke of the millennium,Gbawe castigating Tunde Bakare?ur loyalty no longer lies with Nigeria?thank God for this fight amongst hypocrites we now know on whose side of the divide they are,Gbawe couldn't even hide his own, mtscheeeeeeeew progressives indeed. |
The thieves fighting over their loot!li am enjoying this. |
chichiman: [b]THIS IDI0T OF A MAN CALLED NIGERIAN PRESIDENT DELIVERED AN ADDRESS TO THE NATION WITHOUT MAKING REFERENCE TO THE DASTARDLY KILLINGS OF FOUR UNIVERSITY OF PORT-HARCOURT STUDENTS WHICH RECENTLY TOOK PLACE AND THE KILLINGS AT THE POLYTECHNIC IN MUBI WHICH CLAIMED THE LIVES OF MANY STUDENTS.U are definitely mad,see ur mouth "here in the UK",why are u there?people like who don't contribute anything to nation building other than painting Nigeria black in the eyes of the western world western world (ur Demi gods) |
Funny people are already predicting a gloomy outing from the president, few are looking at the bright side of it not wanting to think and believe positively.Whatever it is,let's wait and see the presidential speech tomorrow before prophets of doom start their pessimistic jargon,Afterall it's only one who has something to say that talks, does a naked man dip his hands into his pocket? |
kindabigg: Shameless old man!.U are doomed. |
holusleek: i Doubt That and I stand to be corrected if iroko 3 and half yrs is better than that of tinubu, politics aside...can't stop laughing...its not just possiblEThe only thing Tinubu did in Lagos was Bequeathing power to Fashola, and Mimiko being a great man acknowledged that.so bro if u are leaving politics aside he did nothing but loot Lagos red, institutionalised thuggery and godfatherism. |
Why have we derailed?why would we allow a purely constitutional issue turn into heated and bad blood arguments?if u say President GEJ is not qualified to contest come 2015,consult the constitution and if u find it too hard understanding,u know where to head for further interpretation. For now all he has to do is focus on his wonderful transformation agenda and avoid this kind of distraction,2015 will surely take care of itself. |
You shed tears cos u lost the election.Simple |
They (Tinubu and co)made the demand just that GEJ didn't accede to it,as he had faith in the electorate. |
Myself2: The Kaduna State chairman of the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN), Barr Mohammed Musa Soba, has claimed that his party sold its Presidential Candidate in 2011, Mal. NuhuRibadu, to the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for One hundred million dollars (N16 Billion). Are we surprised? |
killuminati: Hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha LMAO!Flooding is a natural disaster that's not alien to the world, the last time I checked an official record had flooding as far back as 1910,The Dayton flood of 1913 killed over 300 people and rendered thousands homeless.Just last year there were flooding all over the world,in which so much lives and properties have been lost.It is not about fresh air this is simply natural occurrence. Credit should be given to his govt for the disaster response so far,the timely prediction of an impending flood and the evacuation process has been very organised thereby ensuring that less lives have been lost. This a very laudable development. It pains me when people celebrate misfortune, for Christ sake this is a natural disaster, instead of being an issue that calls for national mourning and prayers together as a nation so we can pull through the difficult times, some of us are here politicising it just to get cheap relevance. |
Dudu_Negro: The version of democracy we practice in Nigeria is borrowed from US. There are thousands of Tinubus in both the NRC and DNC at local, state and federal level. They succeed and win elections becayse they are Tinubu-like......anything else will not get them a victory. Democratic politics is not for weaklings.......those who expect fair play and that their opponent should yield grounds for them are crazy and ought to be tied to a firing squad drum and eliminated from our midst. At least u appreciate he's a desperado that will stop at nothing to win the elections.Lest we forget the tribunal sitting in Lagos has recovered a mandate that was stolen under the supervision of Tinubu and the gang. |
Lai Mohammed?funny times indeed!Coming from a man who represents this kinda party:But beyond the party’s puritanic posture on national issues, many political observers in Nigeria complain about the absence of internal democracy within its fold especially when it comes to vying for its tickets to contest elections. In this interview, Mohammed defended the party’s position on the fuel subsidy controversy and its modus operandi in determining the choice of its candidates. He specifically narrated the process that produced Oluwarotimi Akeredolu as governorship candidate of the party in the election scheduled to hold on October 20 in Ondo State. He justified what many regard as imposition of candidates by the national leader of the party, Bola Ahmed Tinubu. His words: “If you want to hang a dog, call it a bad name. I think there is nowhere in the world where a son does not live on his father’s political pedigree to run for office provided he has qualification and the capacity. For crying out aloud, Bola Ahmed Tinubu can grow successors, not just within Lagos State but made leaders everywhere in Osun, Ogun, Ekiti, Oyo, Adamawa, Benue and Akwa /Ibom. This great Hypocrite of our time also had this answer to this question: Why is it that you leaders of ACN don’t believe in primaries? There is nowhere in our (party) constitution that there are primaries. What we have in our constitution is nomination exercise. In our nomination exercise, we try to be very equitable and very fair. Every party is different from the other party. What you tag internal democracy in your own party may not be the way we do it in our own party. From what I have explained to you, is there anything fairer and more democratic from what we have done? Supposing we say let us hold primaries and you now pick Olu Agunloye, would it be fair to all concerned giving the fact that the last time governorship was zoned to the north it went to an Akoko man and the senator is from Akoko. When would we learn to stop listening to these hypocrites who have not asked ikuforiji to resign, but have asked gemade to resign for an allegation against the son?Where are heading to if we keep listening to these desperate hypocrites who will stop at nothing to be in power and expanding their 'colonies'. |
Am not sure omojuwa lost his iPad,I doubt the sincerity of that man. |
nagoma: God Bless you . Voice of reason . You have said it all.Nagoma and Gbawe so u guys are still existing?how has it been with you?i missed u people and ur gibberish, but am still surprised u have not changed much and embraced the truth which is the norm now. All great leaders who are respected all across the world had the support of their people, from Hitler to Vladmir Ulyanov, from Napoleon Bonaparte to Winston Churchill, these are leaders whose people believed in their ideas and not only keyed into it but also brought their own ideas to service of the nation. The Germans believed so much in Hitler's ideas that they were very convinced they could take over the world and the rest we all know as lessons in history.etc Recently i was seeing Obama on one of his trips,he reminded them of the old slogan that it's not what America will do for u but what u can do for America,he urged Americans to come together and work positively towards nation building. That Mr President soliciting the involvement of all in moving the country forward has now been turned into an issue for critics to try and score cheaply,is very pathethic and has further strengthened my belief that there are indeed fifth columnists who have been hired to derail this administration and it's rapid transformation agenda,to the detriment of Nigeria as a country. If Mr President enforces his ideas on the people these same enemies of state will term it tyranny, ride on GEJ don't be distracted by these devils who jolly in picking out flaws in whatever u do,rather concentrate on the task of nation building which u have started very well, True patriots will see this call as one to service, but blind never do well, pull him down at all costs incurable pessimists will reason otherwise. But let it be on record that when a call to servitude of the nation was made, people like Gbawe and Nagoma instead of re orienting themselves, termed it a campaign of weakness on the part of the president. History will definitely vindicate the just. |
After wraps and wraps of Igbo and doses of shekpe@the zanga... |
micklplus: Well, its good to know that, u can bring your point to the fore but, since I didn't attack you personally, you shouldn't have attacked me on no account! I won't fall for cheap and sweet talk. I will only go with verifiable facts directly connected to the government and things put in place by the government. It is appalling that you are chestbeating in vain! The two outfits you opened were put in place by the government? Did the government employ the people in your establishment?Same old thing no new gist,u still failed to give clear facts to support ur earlier position. You are simply exhibiting ur ignorance thereby vindicating my stand on ur argument.Alll noise no fact to contradict the president's speech or agenda. |
micklplus: I laugh oo.I can't imagine how daft some people sound, all these are verifiable facts, check it and come up with counteracts if u get any not sitting a corner and keep sulking in negativity. Is it a secret that power supply has improved tremendously, how much do u pay in tariffs in other countries?u want to have light and u still wouldn't pay for it?hat is how u shortchange govt. I've have people who have gotten jobs over the last 6 months, personally I've floated two new business outfits which are presently doing well, there has been massive construction of affordable housing units across the length and breadth of this country,so if according to Mr President the country has been ranked among the top five Africa,I wouldn't disprove it unless I've substantial evidence to the contrary. In case u decided to ignore this part of the speech, the Manufactures association of Nigeria(MAN)has disclosed that, as at July 2012, 249 new members across the country had joined the Association, and that capacity utilization has also improved,so are u now saying we should discard fact from an authority and take ur street rumour peddler rambling. You are also blind to the ongoing port reforms? As a blind pessimist u'll turn blind eyes and deaf ears to the presentation of the PIB bill before the national assembly, does that not go a long way to show the transparency and sincerity of this administration. The Transparency international has rated Nigeria as the second most improved in fighting corruption, the govt has exposed high level corruption in sectors that where deemed untouchable in the past, the executive has done their part of these cases and handed over to the judiciary. Don't seat in a corner and present rubbish and unverified facts before the forum and expect it to sell. |
