Igbos have been living peacefully in Lagos and contributing immensely to the development of Lagos State. Even Igbos that don't live in Lagos or Nigeria still come to Lagos to invest the money they earned outside Lagos.


At least I have relatives and friends who don't even live in Nigeria but massively investing in real estate, manufacturing, transport, etc in Lagos, but to an average Yoruba person, every rich or successful Igbo person he sees in Lagos was made rich by Lagos lolz.


They are blind to the fact that Igbos made Lagos the commercial center of Nigeria it is today. Observe Lagos between December 20 to January 10 when Igbos usually travel back to Southeast for Christmas, Lagos is always a lonely town during these period simply because most Igbos have left Lagos for festivals in the East. That alone should awaken Yorubas and make them understand that if what they are wishing in Lagos happens, Lagos will become an empty town with little or no economic value.



It is Nigerian federal government that made Lagos what it is today with favorable federal government policies that centered most facilities and infrastructures in Lagos, remove those things and watch people naturally leave Lagos on their own. Or instead, if you are tired of seeing Igbos in Lagos and in other parts of Southwest, why not support Igbos to have their independent country so you can lockup the entire Southwest against these ungrateful Igbos using new immigration policies?


Igbos supported Yorubas during their Yoruba Nation agitation so that it will help make it easier for Biafra too to get out of Nigeria so all man can face their father's house but when Igbos start Biafra agitation, the same Yorubas screaming Igbos should leave Lagos will be the first to be insulting and attacking Igbos verbally for trying to separate from Nigeria, isn't this madness? You don't like Igbos, the simplest thing to do is to support them to go and be on their own so they can go back to their barren, landlocked land and perish to your excitement, but no you don't want that, you want to be using resources from Southeast to develop your region and at the same time screaming for the same Igbos to go back to their region you are using one Nigeria to milk for the benefit of your region.



If you truly want Igbos to go back to Southeast, please support the actualization of independent state of Biafra so that Igbos will leave your region and then you make strict immigration policies prohibiting Igbos from entering your country, that's how other countries do it. North and South Korea did it. US did same to some Islamic countries, Russia is doing same to some countries too. So apply that wisdom so you enjoy your region alone without Igbos.


And lastly, it is not as if Igbos are only in Lagos, even in crises torn states like Borno and Yobe, Igbos are still massively there doing business which made Governor Zulum to become surprised and impressed with Igbos that he specially thanked Igbos for not deserting Borno state because of Boko Haram insurgency but remained to help develop and sustain Borno State economy and he ordered the immediate construction of good roads to all those markets where Igbo traders are doing business in Borno. That's showing appreciation.

The GPD per capita of Anambra is 1,010 compared to Lagos at 4,012. That shows that there is a good standard of living in Lagos compared to Anambra.

After Ebonyi, Anambra that Peter Lunatic Obi rule for 8 years has the lowest GDP per Capital in the East. Even our Small Osun and Ondo are doing well than that state, not even talk about Ogun and Oyo.
