The Federal Government on Monday said flights to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) are yet to resume due to discriminatory nature of protocol introduced by the United Arab Emirates, UAE.

The Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika, made the remark during the briefing by the Presidential Steering Committee on COVID-19 in Abuja on Monday.

Mr Sirika, who explained that the protocol appeared to be targeted at only Nigerians, added that it was discriminatory and not backed up scientifically.

He explained that UAE was insistent that all passengers intending to visit its country must use Emirates Airline or spend two weeks in the alternative carrier’s country before gaining entrance to Dubai.

The minister dismissed insinuations that the continuous delay in the resumption of flights was ego related.

He, however, said that talks were ongoing to resolve the matter

If u have a home u can mount a small ironing table and a little space u can put a washing machine pending on when you can get a shop then #50k is just enough to buy a washing machine (fairly used), an iron and a table.so the plan is to get a those tools listed above, print out flyers for advertisement and for creating awareness beat down the price a little compared to the laundry around and I can be your ironer so once u get the clothes and u are done washing with the washing machine after drying u can just notify me to do the ironing based on agreed price. I went to a liquor store and ended up buying nothing. Hennessy VSOP is 130,000 RWF lol, even Heineken smallest bottle is like 1,200 to 1500. Even four cousins of 2k in Naija is 12,000 RWF here.
