TravelRe: Is Lagos Becoming Nigeria's Answer To Miami, Florida? by Udanta: 1:49am On May 22, 2021
TheStronghold:
That's mainly the northern sympathetic nature to boko haram and their ideology. They can easily crush them but they see them as their brothers.

I've said this before but I'll say it again. If not for Nigeria and the problem it brings (over population on the southwest, reducing GDP per capita and job availability, over bearing our electricity capacity, even Osun has great electricity, that's because of low population) Yoruba Nation would've been like Egypt/ Morroco/South Africa by now. Nigeria is greatly holding Yorubas back.

The Greek are white, but they are not the same as the Germans at all. One country is barely sustainable, the other is an incredibly run, intelligent, and wealthy country. Yorubas are not the same as Fulanis. Igbos are smart and hardworking as well, but they lack the capacity to build a top tier nation as a group as they're too individualistic. Yorubaland that had the first tv station in Africa and the first skyscraper in sub Saharan Africa in1963, is struggling to build more in 2021. Clearly something has gone massively wrong. The difference between now and then is Yorubas controlled everything in the regional system, now decisions run through the central government, largely dominated by northern states.
Wtf?? Are you ok?

cry for the 5 kidnapped people In anambra?

what's ESN doing about them, why are Igbo not worrying about them? why is southwest lives important to Igbo than kidnapped Igbo victims?

is it until those dirty Fulani finished raping your kidnapped mothers before you 21 century Dundees will cry for help?

that said, anything you wish southwest, your Igbo people living with them will share from the predicament. you Igbo are just semi illiterate in reasoning, even Hausa will always think twice about their kinsmen before expression

how do you want your Igbo people in southwest to be safe if you think Yoruba people should be a victim of your sad wishes

do you people have working brain in that your unexposed region at all?

Fulani love peace, why are you calling for war?? Are we not all Nigerians again? How can a nation be divided against itself and prosper?

Fulani have begun to move out of the East due to constant attacks, is this a united nation?? And yet you are still calling for war, and later will call us the animals....
Geezer, must you reply to every post? FFS! Just mellow down and stop being obtuse. I am trying to read what others have to say but keep coming across your incessant rambling

A 50-year-old woman identified as Mrs. Ajayi Folashade has enrolled at Ilorin Grammar School Ilorin, IgbereTV reports.

Mrs. Ajayi Folashade started at Junior Secondary 2, with kids younger than her children as her classmates.

The woman, who hopes to become a teacher someday, said she enrolled in school to better herself. She added that she hopes to encourage people her age to follow through with their dreams irrespective of age.

She also called on the government to create adult education programs so older scholars won't have to sit with children to learn.

TravelRe: Nigeria Will No Longer Tolerate Harassment Of Its Citizens In Ghana - FG by Udanta: 12:59am On Aug 29, 2020
And which country did Ghana copy this model from? Since when did retail which is the backbone of any economy become for poor people.?
jrtorrents:
A lot of lies and half truths.

- what has Nigerians GDP got to do with Ghana? Ghanaian trade with Nigeria is less than 1% of our economy.

- a simple Google search will show you Ghana has several fighter jets. As a country we care more about our people than wasting money on military assets.

- Ghana is welcoming African Americans because they’re bringing investments. Not competing with local people for basic jobs reserved for poor people. Nigerian students, bankers, IT professions are warmly welcomed in Ghana, its the petty traders and criminals that we don’t like!

- the 1 million requirement is only for retail. A Nigerian can set up business in all other areas in Ghana without any requirement. It is only there as means of discouraging foreigners from taking over Ghana’s retail sector which is reserved for poorer Ghanaians.

- So Nigeria has contributed to Ghana’s peace but they can’t provide peace to their own people? What is happening in Nothern Nigeria with Boko Haram ? With all the digger jets and strong army why are they not defeating them?

- the only Nigerian bank in Ghana’s top 10 banks is Zenith

BusinessRe: Should I Give My Oga The N1.3M I Saved From His Business Or Do I Keep It? by Udanta: 10:21pm On Aug 28, 2020
I find some of the replies in this thread shocking. This country is truly finished if so many people cannot tell right from wrong and are happy to justify criminality as wisdom. If anyone working for a proper organisation or company does what the OP is being advised to do, they would be fired and rightfully so.

A company or business person will calculate and set their retail price to make a profit and be competitive. Inflating that price so you can pocket the difference can end up costing the business sales as you might lose valuable customers and create an impression of the goods being overpriced.

Any money you take from a business that is not recorded is theft. This principal is the same all over the world apart from in Nigeria apparently. Why are we even talking about corrupt politicians if we find this behaviour permissible? What is the difference between what the op did and a politician inflating the cost of a project and pocketing the difference?

I am sick and tired of this nonsense. A country without a conscience is well and truly lost. Stealing does not make you smart. If you are really smart, you should try and create wealth on your own without robbing someone else blind. This mentality is the reason millions of Nigerians are living in abject poverty without even the most basic of amenities. The problem is that most of your leaders have the same mentality as some of the people commenting here.
BusinessRe: Should I Give My Oga The N1.3M I Saved From His Business Or Do I Keep It? by Udanta: 8:40pm On Aug 28, 2020
You can easily tell from the opinions above who is ibo and who isn't. No proper ibo man will ever advise anyone serving and learning a trade to pocket the gains from the business. Ibos believe quite strongly in Karma. The connection between master and apprentice goes far beyond settlement, in most cases they trade together in partnership long after the apprentice has been settled. The old master provides guidance, helps open doors with his connections and even refers customers to his newly settled apprentice for items he does not have.

This is precisely the problem with this country. Someone takes you in, teaches you a trade, feeds and takes care of you, opens up all his contacts gained over a lifetime to you, and also commits to setting you up in business after your service, and you are asking if you should keep the money you made from his business?

The secret to Ibo success in business is generations of people following this system of service. Do not break the chain. Do the right thing.

So Kolade 560, you have come to insult us here? You should be more worried that your people have to bury their relatives under layers of concrete to prevent skull mining. What is your problem?
