This is how opposition should play politics not the politics of voilence the APCs did. I'm not a member of any political party, but the way APC played the role of the opposition shows they were immature for the game. They criticize every decision and policies of the govt in power whether good or bad without telling Nigerians the solutions... I just remember the protest about the removal of oil subsidy and also organising different protest to distract the then govt interms of the increase in the exchange rate of dollar to naira, the bring back our girls campaign. It has suddenly gone down the drain, even if It was part of PMB seeling point during the campaign. I just imagine if the 150 Nigerian Army missing were in the time of GEJ! APC are immature in this game of politics. I commend PMB for this 2016 budget, I pray It will be well implemented... I appreciate you sir, BEN BRUCE! Godbless Nigeria! |

Rilwayne001:Who are the PDPs of then, are the key politicians in APC new politicians...? I see, anybody who becomes an APC member automatically becomes a saint! Use your tongue to count your teeth bro...! |
kennydee05:This is nothing but grammer... All this you just mentioned are not realistical. They're not something that can generate money for the servicing of debt |
kennydee05:Diversifying the economy and developing the economy are two different words. Diversifying the economy is to invest and not looking for profit now. So, while waiting for the result the diversifying economy will bring, how do we service the debt? |
DikSin:Do you even know the duties of a leader... So who concieved the so-called idea now? |
DikSin:But he thought of BVN and Permanent Voter Card... Who is now the drunkard here? |
Kokoaiye:How do you want him to answer such technical question now. All these questions should have been during the public/media debate but APC refused to show up GEJ took fuel price to #97 but APC protested, then he later went back to d drawing board and then reduce the price to #87. Hope you're aware that the official fuel price in nigeria is #97. This govt is a scam |
Government in each term wants technological innovation and outrightly looks down on graduate from the polytechnics who went through school for 5 good year. Is this not an irony! |
And they said GEJ did nothing when he was in power...!
God is indeed watching. Thank God for the international community! |
Demmocrats:One more thing left, you forgot to tell us how much was paid to the youngsters who took the under 17 champiomship! |

I don't really know the provision of the Nigerian constitution that gives this fulani herdmen right to carry weapons all around. Presently, they have upgraded to carrying of guns Because if this weapons they parade, they are not always afraid even in your own community... They are ever ready to use those weapons... This calls for an urgent redress Godbless Nigeria! |
Do some research... See what GEJ meant as infrastructure in the power sector and compare It with what he left behind The problem about some Nigerians is that they don't read, they just ponders on propagandas. GEJ was the true definition of Power Transformation... Some years back, I embarked on a mandated (Mandated by my institution) research on "Epileptic Power Supply In Nigeria," you will be shocked and indeed call GEJ a hero. For the past 38yrs, Nigeria as a country don't even have a single power system road map whether for short term, medium and long term respectively You can also get some of this facts yourself by making good use of the internet... Godbless Nigeria! |
ENTROVERT:Ogun state is even worst as corp members are rejected in mass... In the state capital, govt agencies, private organisation only accept corp member on the ground that "no accomodatiom and no allowance..." Corp members are no longer given their due respect anymore |
If you have problem in french, mth 101 and any other mth, then try Thermo-dynamics, circuit theory, soil mechnics, Electical machines, power system engineering, even the engineering drawing... Proud to be an engineer! |
President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan was the only Nigerian President that fought corruption heavily without necessarily making noise on the front pages of the newspaper... Talking about the menace from the banks that saw the likes of intercontiental bank, oceanic bank and the rest merged and sold respectively. The case of The Permanent Voters Card (PVC) was another way he used in fighting corruption in the voting system. GEJ bought about the Federation Single Account that Buhari is now taking the praise and even the BVN... During the media chat of GEJ, said that "Stealing is not corruption..." and the whole country and the so-called Prof. Osibanjo SAN criticized him instead of telling Nigerians the truth, saw It as a cheap point to campaign aganist him. GEJ said "Probing is different from jailing..." he said this after several consultations, and thus was ready to see how those short comings be looked into which was as a result of the constitution, while speaking that "his tenure did lot of probing even more than any president ever but the judiciary lacks the will power to prosecute those cases Corruption is a very broad word. You cannot jail somebody because he's corrupt but you can jail someone because he/she took bribe. This is why you hear people saying "bribrey and corruption", and there implies that the two words are not dsame. If a person is convicted what he/she is convicted on should have a 'define name' and not corruption. This word called corruption is d reason while our politicians and heads of different parastater go scot free. Misappropriation of funds should be called stealing and not corruption which has no base... these were the words of GEJ during the 2015 general election Godbless Nigeria |
President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan have been vindicated |
damton:We are talking about leadership and good governance here... This is not a tribalistic role, It's a call for service, if this statement is right, then why coming up with the Igalas, Okuns and the rest. How do we even grow or develop into a state we all dreamt of if this tribalistic altitude is seen in us? You just mention about 3 major tribes in Kogi state, that implies that there are minor tribes too... So what happens if someone that is very and has the mantle to deliver comes from the So called minority? I just imagin if Obama was to contest an election here in Nigeria knowing fully well his father was from Kenya! Tribe don't rule... We all should communicate Peace, Love and Oneness if we must live the Nigeria of our dream Godbless Nigeria! |
Rumpelstiltskin:Is that how a nation is supposed to be govern? We are Nigerians and regionians... If we must live together as one as we proclaim, our diversity suppose to be our strength even in the appointment of key leaders and official The northerners help their own or better still gives reference to their own does not mean It's right since we are one Nigeria |
kosiebe:I expected you to first speak as a Nigerian... This is not about playing politics, PDP or Fayose, It's about the well-being of the nation... A fresh poll would have been the best option while the law awaits review. In this case, no one would feel cheated because It also give the parties a level playing ground. What if the person that died is from Labour Party or other unknown political parties? |
midep:So, do you think the newly appointed candidate for the supplementary election would have been able to withstand Wada, let alone defeating him assuming he won the APC primary election from the on-set? |
This is purely engineering and not politics. During the campaign era, I was part of those that faulted Buhari's policies on power. His policies were not realistical and lacks logic from the engineering point of view. Before one come up with any policy, he/she must first look at the possible factors that might hamper or promote the generation oof energy but this man was the opposite. Nigerian really needs true transformation and not change... Jonathan and the then minister for power at each point always spoke the truth and also keep Nigerians abreast with the realities on ground when It comes to power generation... but the then opposition always come in with all sort of propagandas and mis-information showing Nigerians the weakness of the president and not acknowledging the strength... Nigerians voted for change at the expense of transformation |
Befitting:Presently, one cannot run a PGD without his/her NYSC discharged certificate again. It's now a major requirement to studing further |
masseratti:One can only go to jail when the killer of the aspirant is known... What about a suituation where the killer is not caught in the act? This issue is a very sensitive one and used be treated as such |

Owerri-base Legal Practitioner, Barr Stanley Chukwu, said: ”The present situation arising from the death of Audu, the APC gubernatorial candidate in Kogi has created an unprecedented situation not envisaged in the 1999 Constitution of the Federation as Amended. While Section 181 of the Constitution envisaged a situation where if a Governor elect dies before taking oath of office his deputy is to take over. Subsection 2 of section 181 provides that where both the Governor elect and his deputy die before taking oath of office, that there will be a flesh election. ”The Kogi situation is that the Gubernatorial candidate died at a time election has not been concluded and supplementary election is to be conducted so that a winner would be declared. In this scenario, APC no longer have a gubernatorial candidate for the supplementary election. In fact, supplementary election would be a waste of time. Audu’s running mate cannot step into his shoe. There is no provision in the Electoral Act or the Constitution that assigned any role to a running mate upon the demise of the Gubernatorial candidate before declaration of winner. The only option is for an a flesh election to be conducted in which APC will field a candidate. Again, this is one scenario which our law fail to envisage and there is now the need to take care of it in future constitutional amendment. ”The argument that it is the party that stands for election will not fly when you analogically consider section 181(2). of the Constitution which orders for fresh election where both the Governor Elect and Deputy Governor elects die before taking oath of office. If the Constitution recognises the party above the candidate, it would have simply required the Party to field a new Governor-elect and Deputy Governor elect but instead, the Constitution required a new election. So in this case, since Audu has not been declared, his running mate can only be seen and not reckoned with. The only option now is conducting a fresh election.” This is the best option otherwise, some intending deputies can take advantage on this to eliminate the suppose party flag bearer knowing fully the benefit awaiting them! |
giftedben:It's only in Nigeria a citizen like Sanusi accused the FG of missing $20billion and later reduced It to $10billion before It came down to $1billion naira... Up till now, Sanusi never tender an apology for mis-informing the nation and also rubbishing the office of the presidency... Oshiomole never tendered an apology when he accused Okonji-Iweala. When will all these propaganda stop, when are we going to speak first as a Nigerian before any political affiliation...? This woman just said she left the sum of $5.6b in the NLNG aacount and Nigerians were told $1b... If really she's right... My question is, can Nigeria as a country be trusted in the hands of the APCs if the truth can't be told for the purpose of scoring cheap political point? Godbless Nigeria! |
NgeneUkwenu:Even as much as President Buhari is hailed for those achievement listed above, It's high time Nigerians knew that they were the policies and handiwork of the former administration As for the security issue, boko haram has be spotted to be the deadiest even ahead of ISIS... Fuel price have increased, about 150 soldiers captured by BH... So while the praise, where is the significant achievement for more than 6 months now? |
Most APC governors are thrash... they cover there own and exposes others weaknesses. Welcome to Edo state where the state roads are better imagine than real! |
TATROVERT:This is actually true cos I'm also in that same camp as a corp member. |
