Was thinking of getting the keyboard myself and fix it. I do know how to fix it. Any idea how much it’ll cost for the keyboard alone.

And pls I placed an image below. The space of the laptop is too small,just 118gb. I’m thinking of getting 256gb. Do you also know how much it’ll cost me

This mobo was brought in for repair,the engr said it doesn't power on,there was a short on the mobo because the charger light goes off immediately it is connected.

The VIN line was short to ground,after checking the impedance on CLR.
I inject voltage on the line and find the culprit,I remove and replace the non polarise caps and short was gone but unfortunately the mobo refuse to turn on.

19v is available on the mobo but no 3.3v/5v output at the coil, the impedance is fine 19v is available at the 3.3v/5v section but no output.

I opened the schematic to check the requirements of the 3.3v/5v section.
After everything,it is confirmed that the power ic is fine but still not generating output voltage.
Entrip 1 and entrip 2 was releasing the necessary volt ,the best thing to do in this type of situation is

1. Check the PWM(pulse width modulation) at the gate of the upper and lower MOSFET if it is available.
2. Replace the Polaris caps
3. Replace the power ic.

I replaced the polarise caps and the 3.3v/5v start to generate at the respective coils.

Powered on the mobo and board works.

I got same board with same fault but this one was an easy fix, I replaced the burnt component after injecting the volt and mobo was back to life.

This is because of the graphic design,auto cad and probably video editing because most people with intention for graphic design usually do video editing/animation.

This spec will make things very easy especially when it comes to rendering,you won't have to spend hours to render.
