We haven't even exchanged more than 2 posts on this discussion, u are already spilling ur emotions and using foul language. If I were in ur boat or a party faithful like u, I would have responded likewise. No one gets paid 4 dropping a comment on NL so it amazes me how some of u get so sentimentally attached 2 issues. Make ur point. Let me make mine. In d end, superior argument will take d day not paranoia.
U are now acknowledging that osinbajo goofed after I had brought it 2 ur attention. If obi's lies are shameless, daft, unintelligent (borrowing from u), are d VPs lies any less? When u say d govt has "done a lot to increase local rice production", d question I ask is were is d evidence? Were is d rice? A lot means a lot and if there's a lot then we all should b seeing it.

Mccullum: As usual the dominant easterners on nairaland forum had invaded it again but I'm very glad that most of their popular contestants always lose in the real life elections....
By the time defeat news heard by PDP supporters I hope some of you won't get heart attack because PMB/PYO will be re-elected in 2019 while PDP may try again in 2023. See another one why do you Afonja fellows (tho you may not be one, but I'm speaking for the majority) always assume that every one supporting Atiku/Obi is an Igbo man? This simplistic thinking is what has kept many of you foolish. I can tell you that Atiku enjoys wide support from across the country, and tho at this point, Buhari may still have a little more support over him, but his support is widespread Word on the street in the north is that Buhari and Atiku have strongfans, but in the NW, buhari may just edge atiku out, but not with a wide margin. The North central who has been ravaged by herdsmen will of course, not show much support to Buhari like they did in 2015 The Deep south and the South East of course will not support Buhari for obvious reasons The main support base I see is the SW, because for many of these deluded folks, they think Osinbajo will take over by some way after Buhari, which is quite laughable because 1) There is NO WAY on earth that Buhari and that his cabal will watch power being handed over to osinbajo.... Instead, another aboki will replace Buhari 2)Assuming Buhari does b4 23 (highly unlikely, because even shagari who senior am is still alive) ; Osinbajo will complete his term, then lose woefully, because just as the northern folks did to oga joe, they will present a northern candidate, and use block voted from their region, plus disgruntled voters from the South to Push him out. So how really do you think that PYO will succeed PMB The cold truth is.... No southern folkwill be president in the next 12 years. And it's due to the destructive politics you guys play inthe South |

Beautyaddy: I still don't think most Nigerian parents who emphasized the need for most of their children to earn those degrees meant any harm.
In fact, earning whatever the degree is especially in courses that can give one back-up job securiries in case the businesses they already have is facing some bumby moments is the best thing that can happen to anyone who is wise. they were short sighted, blind AND Ignorant Nigeria has NEVER been a real industrial/productive economy Back in the day, they get a degree; then get a bureaucratic/civil servant / other non productive work and they were paid high salaries RUBBISH While our mates in Asia were concentrating on value addition and technical/skills acquisition and transfer That built a culture of laziness and advanced foolishness among the pple that us WHY till today, the dream of most of the unfortunate youths in that $hithole republic is to get good grades BY ALL MEANS, then settle for bureaucratic work that does not add value. Mancala: We need audio or video evidence to be well publicized to shame the "international moral police" into action. Case in point, Jamal Kashoggi's killing in the Saudi consulate was all but covered up until audio evidence was put out there. CIA evidence of Saudi complicity was even available to U.S. authorities but they tried to cover it up until someone leaked the reports to the press.
Imagine the damage it will do to gulf tourism if someone could document and publicize some of this evidence of abuse. International media will gobble it up and run with it. This is the kind of sensational news they thrive on. The press, now including social media are indeed the fourth estate. I see your point |

Mancala: I understand your frustrations with the ineptitude of the Nigerian government overlords. Nigerians should use the advent of the internet and mobile phones to their advantage. Film these incidents. Post them on Instagram and you tube. That usually gets the attention of corporate and moves them to act. Many erring employees have been fired as a result of instagram posts. As one TV personality often says, cell phones are not only for taking and sending naked pictures. use it for something useful Nigerians are being killed on the steady in the gulf do we need videos evidence to know this? |

Mancala: But this is not the way they are trained, and neither is this the way they treat westerners when they are unruly and behave out of turn. These same airlines are the epitome of professionalism and decorum when they are faced with the same situations outside of Africa. They will continue to call their customers sir/ma'am, give them their dues and remain respectful. If they cannont do so, they will call in the authorities. There are definitely double standards in play. They do this because they can get away with it. you are validating my point... "They can get away with it" now the question becomes.... WHY CAN THEY GET AWAY WITH SUCH? The answer is the basis for why African monkeys deserve no respect It's the same reason why Africans are killed like goats in the gulf, and the diplomats, foreign office and the govt s of these jokes Africans can't do $hit, instead they are non challant incompetent and heartless Can they kill a Chinese citizen brazenly like that? It's the same reason why Foreign companies mistreat workers in their own country, and the useless govt can't do anything to protect its own people I don't even want to start..... let me just leave it at this |

My friend gave me his car to drive home from Lagos as my car was in bad shape. His car is an SUV more tushed than my Toyota corrola.
Reaching home, old granny came out and welcomed me like everyone. My aunty asked me if the new car is mine.
I snapped and asked rhetorically " FOR THIS BUHARI REGIME?".
My granny started laughing non stop. I was embarrassed and questioned why she laughing. She told me dats exactly what my dad told her in 1984 when she asked when he will complete his house project. She laughed and said Nigerians will never learn. A man that made history with the statement came back to repeat history again.
I couldn't speak again. Lmfao Buhari issa national disaster |

Shanghai is a beautiful place wherever you go, you just have to look closely enough, and as much as it may not be chic, its nevertheless great.
and as for me, Tokyo takes the top spot in Asia, hands down... as (i believe) a great city is worthless unless its citizens are also great... and Chinese (no matter how rich/educated they are) have NO SAVOIR VIVRE! C'est vrai Les Chinois n'a pas SAVOUR VIVRE |

vululadilolo: I'm not Nigerian but I had to comment on your flight experience with Lufthansa cause I went through a similar experience while going back to my home country sometimes ago.
I also flew with one of those "renowned" Airlines and I had one of the worst customer services experience ever. Terrible...It's like some of those Airlines employees see African Countries as hell. Unhappy Hostesses, poor on ground services, poor on air experience. In my own case, they even "refused" to serve us food at an "appropriate"time. The flight was late, the plane "old", the seats uncomfortable..All around bad...When I think about how much money I paid for the flight ticket, I just shake my head.
The funniest thing is I flew the same airlines some times later to another part of the world( from the same airport) and it was a totally different experience. "Newer" and "cleaner" plane, respectful hostesses, plenty food, very nice on air service etc. You could feel that they knew they were talking to/serving fellow human beings.
Hopefully one day, some our countries will get "there" and we will be treated with the respect we all deserve. Africans in general do NOT deserve respect This is me saying the COLD TRUTH until we earn it, the world will continue to see us as jokers |

The sad reality The system AND our parents (i mean this in general sense, not our individual parents) lied to Us, and we are paying dearly for it That is largely to blame for the craze for certificates among Nigerians |

Nigerians are always in a hurry to go nowhere. It's like the sense of patience and waiting one's turn in orderliness is not something we want to subject ourselves to. It's like we see it as being tortured to maintain orderliness.
A typical exam is with the traffic lights on most of the major roads in Nigeria. The traffics lights there are just for show of which is hardly obeyed also with the traffic wards practically doing nothing to contain the rowdiness of traffics for which they have been hired to direct. Being in a flight with Nigerians (especially the older ones) is one of the worst experiences I have to ensure from time to time From the loud clapping and hallelujah when plane land to the shouts of Jesu! Jesu! when it seems there is a problem with landing, to every one wanting to rush out at the same time What kind of animals do I have as country men? But its aii nothing spoil |
