My sister am serious, I know his type. Forget that calm fine boy look. It's all a facade. Nothing there. Look at it this way, Which woman wey no like money, wealth and comfort? Every woman does including me. But look at this scenario, there are more upwardly independent women springing up here there ,to get to the level of successes they've attained. Also, Ladies also from rich homes are also there. And I know it's only the rich ladies or rich ladies with rich parents he will associate with and go on dates with. He won't even smell close to an average lady or poor lady from a humble background.

So tell me, which comfortable lady at this time and age, will want to marry an arrogant man? Who is cold and distant? Because he's Glo first son?
Abeggi! No one! He can swallow his wealth for all they care.

If he doesn't treat them right, their parents will be like be patient, you know he's the first son and he has so many responsibilities on his shoulder. Maybe it's stress at work or at home, thinking he will change. But when the lady wey wear the shoe, realise, this guy is not even changing one bit. He's still cold, thinking he's doing them a favour . Abeg fucvk off everything. He should go and marry his money. I don't need this shiit. I deserve care, respect and love. And they call the engagement off.
The ladies cannot be comfortable and be unhappy in marriage Nah? It doesn't make sense. It doesn't work like that. I can't get to where I am today and end up marrying a rich man who will make my life miserable. Heavens forbid. It can't work.

Except, If he goes to the village and marry a poor girl from a very poor home, one day she sef go wise and seek for divorce afterwards.

So he better change for correct woman to accept am, as husband. No be all these slay queens wey go chop, clean mouth and run.
Oh, so it is his fault that he didn't marry them abi? huh

Nigerians are not objective in approaching situations. Most of us let emotions and sentiments cloud our judgements.

Let drop our individual feelings about the leadership and consider issues objectively. Increase in the price of PMS has been long expected. We were all in favour of subsidy removal, which was (to me) one of the most stoic, brave and biggest achievement of the people and APC government.

Price increment in PMS is not about APC, it's about doing the right thing for the country. All good policies have backlashes which we have to endure for the time being. The future is glorious if you ask me.

No amount of whining and wailing will help. Let contribute our part to nation building.

Long live Nigera

Politics › Re: Buhari Receiving Cheers From Motorists On Fuel Queue In Kaduna (photo) by Ugosample(m): 10:43am On Jan 06, 2018
namet:
Yes, the North will vote as one bloc for Buhari, of course due to ethnicism and our pathetic "zoning" politics. But that doesn't mean it's not possible to beat Buhari. Frankly, it was the Yoruba vote that won the election for Buhari in 2015. It was the same Yoruba vote, which was systemically rigged by Tinubu and all SW governors against Buhari, that won Jonathan's 2011 election.

Regardless, if the South west, South south, and the South east votes as one bloc for one candidate, then chipping away a few Northern states from Buhari means Buhari's defeat, assuming no systemic rigging.

The question is: which candidate can do that magic? My opinion is that Atiku will easily win SS and SE. Atiku is the only candidate that can also win a substantial number of Northeast and Northcentral states (middle-belt Christian dominated states), that is if his campaign is issue-based.

Buhari's failures in improving security in the Northeast, his lackluster attitude toward stopping his marauding Fulani herdsmen kinsmen, his destruction of Nigeria's currency which has led to astronomical hike in prices of goods and a failing economy, ill health, failure to prosecute corruption cases and general incompetence, are some of the issues.

But for this to work for Atiku the Yorubas/Southwest must support him en-bloc. The question is will they? My observation is NO. Is it possible for the SW to support Atiku? Yes! It comes down to interests. If Atiku picks his running-mate or deputy from the Southwest then he might earn their support, enough to win. Again, the viability of this permutation assumes the election won't be rigged in favor of Buhari.

To disprove naivety on my part, the desperate reality of Buhari's cabal and the extent to which our election process can be easily corrupted, however, suggests that office-holders will rig for Buhari so that they also remain in office, sadly.

As preface, the unpopularity of Buhari in the SE and SS does not necessarily mean any opposition candidate will beat Buhari in these regions. It means these two regions agree that Atiku is the only Northern candidate that can win Buhari in some parts of the North, which is the only means by which Buhari can be sent back to Katsina.

It also means that Atiku is the only candidate, today, that gets SE and SS votes as one unfragmented voting bloc; a prerequisite for success for the opposition - that is if the SW buy into the opposition project.

Contrary to what folks are saying, I opine that the SE will support Atiku regardless of whether his running-mate is an Igbo man or not. My fear is that the SW Yorubas will be responsible for failing Nigeria, by not refusing the return of sick and incapable Buhari to Aso Rock in 2019.

Except rigging by Tinubu and Obasanjo and SW APC governors in favor of Buhari is averted, the outcome of 2019 election is a sad reality for Nigeria, considering the many that will continue to die from hunger, boko and herdsmen attacks under Buhari.
The middlebelt won the elections for Buhari, not the SW

This is where you people get it wrong. EVERY part of Nigeria is a big problem to our collective sanity.

Was it any more sane for people in the South East to follow Nnamdi Kanu in droves, or to spread whatsapp messages alleging ethnic reasons for the Innoson - GTB spat?

"GTB is owned by Yorubas and they are working with the Hausa-Fulani led EFCC to frustrate Innoson"

You think this mantra that was repeated by thousands is any more logical than people on a fuel queue cheering Buhari?

Or you think the people gearing up right now in Edo State to travel to Italy via Libya despite the slavery issues are any less illogical?

Abeg, don't localize it. Many Nigerians are either mad or completely illogical.

There is no money in Nigeria. It is simply a nation where pilfering of the public till is a national pastime.
The guy you quoted is right....

Nigeria has plenty money, too much money...

The problem is that, the wealth is so, very unevenly distributed, that a few have so much, while more than 60% suffer untold hardship. So yea, that guy is right

Besides, it's easier to make so much money in Nigeria, especially if you are ready to throw away your morality and good conscience

Culture is culture. I am educated enough to know that every civilisation and great nation has a great culture which it's people are proud of

As long as the culture doesn't harm or cause retrogression, as long as such culture can exist along side development, it should not be changed for anything

Those who complain about igbo bride price should simply work harder and find the particular igbo woman that is worth it...or move on..this is always an option
