NaoSlay:
We would have loved t know what caused the loss not just giving us random statistics.

and I can see some illiterates already blaming buhari, imaging a country blaming the president for fuel scarcity when there's a leader for that department , they can't blame Kachikwu.

Hate has consumed them.
You are VERY stupid!

The Minister of Petrol IS Buhari.

so yes; he deserves the blame

We Nigerians are the most impatient and the most tribalistic humans in the world.

See them rejoicing over Daura death.

The way hate has consumed us is really alarming.

And you will be a hypocrite not to know why it's like that.

Greenbullet:
Some foolish people are here slating Yoruba people, My friend married from a Yoruba Family and guess what, the father -in-law told the boy not to pay a dime for bride price, The cost of the wedding was shared between my friend and the father, right now my friend is in England with his wife, the money he intended to use for the bride price is what he used to process their travelling documents, I am the one in charge of building his house, at roofing stage, if the father was greedy like this IMO state man, the husbands life wouldn't have taken this turn !
Don't mind them.....

But not all of us are like that tho

Abudu2000:
It's so funny that all rituals are being related to Yahooboys but no one is talking about that pastor that buried human heads in his church foundation. No one is talking about those business men and politicians that use human parts for their sacrifices to sell well or win elections....now let me say the shocker here, Everyone on this thread has that ibo man in his street who is very rich and wealthy but.....has a sore on his leg. That's sore never dries up, you ask them and they tell you it's accident...hahahaha acci indeed!!!
Are you trying to insinuate that many Igbo business men are ritualistic with sorea on their legshuh

I don't know of what was obtainable in the past, but when I visited Gombe last year, I was ashamed of myself. I had thought I was going to Gombe, a state that was not developed. But to my greatest surprise, the exact opposite was the case. The roads, Gombe State University etc. And oh, I had water throughout my stay and it was from the water board company.

So it's possible they had it better than what I met, but people I interacted with were very happy with him. And it's also possible that these ones are just playing to the gallery.

If not, this man was one of the very few that survived the APC tornado in the North. If he wasn't doing well, I'm not sure that would have happened.
Gombe has solid infrastructures on ground, that I give to them

What is right?

That Nigerian employers do not ask their good employees why they have chosen to resign?
Is there any employer anywhere in the world that will be happy at losing good employees or has your self- hate completely eroded your sense of reason?
You don't know anything

In many instances, the employee will not pay the soon to be ex employee that last month, and other entitlements due
Coupled with the bad blood

you have not seen how evil many in that country can be, that is why you are talking like this

Though it's only level headed bosses that will treat their soon to be ex employees in that fashion

But in a situation where even to pay the employees na war (due to sheer wickedness) what do you have to say about thathuh

The guy you quoted is right, no matter how you see it.

Nigerians don't like good environment and aesthetics as a people. The reason for recent media gang up against Okorocha is because he's trying to build a better city out of Owerri by expanding roads and putting walkways, planting trees and general facelift. Even the Ekeukwu market that is very dirty, poorly planned and sited that was moved 5 kilometers away generated so much controversy that opposition members had to kill a boy to frame security agents. I encourage him to continue even though he will not complete all but we must encourage the next Governor to add in the urban renewal until we achieve at least 50% international standard city. Right now only Abuja can compete with inteenational cities.
Go sit yo ass down somewhere

When oyinbo people start condemning what Africans imbibe and classify as being posh/classy/not local...

This post shows that most of what we copy from the western world may not be all accepted by the West. They also know when to draw the line.

Unfortunately, right here, what ever we see on TV is deemed acceptable and portrayed as "moving with the tide".
In the west, there are still those with conservative thinking too, just that they are much more in Africa

That's the reason why you see some comments against the gown

No family member will take him in. Him no bring pounds Na only problem he bring come. His sister should better come and take him back to London. All these parents that think they are doing everybody by isolating their kids from knowing their roots. Always blaming their village people and family members for all their problems. They think once they get abroad, their origin changes.

They forget they will no longer be here tomorrow and the child will have no one when there is problems. What if he was an only child? Family is always family o. Make sure you keep in touch, bring them home.

Abroad is frustrating for Akata, not to talk of an African that knows he has roots somewhere. One day out of frustration they will want to find their way home, so they can be accepted.
Sometimes isolating your kids from that is the best you can do for them

Especially if you are from Igbo land

In many cases, it is not worth it

Our parents never went thru this and the marriage lasted 30years and above.
Now at days marriage collapse even before it starts with all these shows
This is not the reason why marriage crashes bro

Marriage crashes these days because of selfishness and carelessness.
