Just30: you still don't get how economies work so just shut it. Ghanaians who go to Nigeria just go there to transact their business and come back home. They don't stay for years Smile to that , ECOWAS won The side effect is what is happening in Ghana So My Ghanaian teachers and neighbours just ce to transact business eh Or the ones selling puff puff on the streets? Or even the tailors and masons I forgive you because you have never been to Nigeria, but I kid you not, MANY Ghanaians live here |

Do You know how many Ghanaians living in Nigeria? They are so many, and yes, they took the bus coming here too. And suspending Western Union in your country because of some fraudsters will just destroy your country How will the remittances from Ghanaians abroad enter? |

Ghanaians commits crime in their country but Nigerians commits crime in the world. the fact that natives of a certain country are committing crime in their country doesn't give you the foreigner any right to do same but your blocked headed brain won't get it because your upbringing is whack. Oh, the story has changed now Ghanaians commit crimes in Nigeria, and across the world too, but because Nigeria is more populated, and the bad rap the name carry, you will see ours more. So stop the holier than thou attitude. |

Family › Re: Is Feminism Relevant In Nigeria Today? by Ugosample(m): 11:03pm On Aug 25, 2017 |
PDPGuy: Feminism can never really take root in Nigeria until the bride-price tradition is abolished.
There is no way a man would pay bride-price for his wife, and expect to only be a co-equal partner in the marriage even if she works a full time job.
So, a Nigerian man will always lay claim to being the natural head of house if he is married to a Naija woman.
That's why most Nigerian men who are married to European/American women fully accept the notion that they are co-equal partners in the marriage because there was no bride-price involved, and the women equally foot half the bills for running the home. It's also highly likely that the woman paid for the dates on some occasions, unlike in Nigeria where the man is expected to foot 99.9% of the bills on dates. You have a point |

Come to think of it, like say you sef go fit bed for your room inside if these guys weren't being creative in their own way, dem no force anyone for cash unlike armed robbery or kidnapping, it's left to the so called victims to use dema brain (like the way you use your brain to detect fake items whenever you come across one in the market). I'm not in support of any party here but think about it, your bank would give you a useless reason via text notification for every of dema stupid charges, telecommunications dey scam us wey we no fight dem, dstv is another one, religious organization is one, money itself is scam, government go loot money, traders go add extra cash on their commodities, everything about life revolves around scam. As long as it's not killing, stealing, kidnapping, human rituals, I think every other things can be justified. That's my view on things You tacitly support fraud, it's written all over your post |

hollywoodscape: In my earlier comment ,I pointed out that black people have crab mentality and why black people are dumb and will remain slaves forever. An exmaple of crab mentality i'm aware of in Nigeria. I'll just copy and paste my comment from another thread : "instead of the akwa ibom governor to develop the seaport and waterfront at Oron and also develop the ibeno beach area for recreation,he's trying to build a 22 storey at Lagos instead of around the seaport area or even in Uyo. The main reason why Oron is not being developed is due to tribalism(the governors are ibibio and anang clan of the akwa cross ). This is high level stvpidity.Won't everyone enjoy the benefits if everywhere is developed with law, order and organization and good quality of life for all ? Thats why black people will remain cursed slaves forever. The entire akwa ibom and efikland should be one mega city with two seaports (calabar and Ibaka).there should be a bridge between Oron and calabar But black people are too dumb."
A New Yorker or Portlander commends development in Seattle or LA. But in Nigeria,i observe there's too much bad blood and crab mentality. Instead of building a world class maritime university and seaport at Oron ,they won't because it's not their place. They're talking about dredging a shallow river to build seaport at onitsha or abuja because that's their place. Instead of patronizing the akwa ibom airport ,they want more meaningless airports a few miles away at owerri, aba etc . That's why black people are dumb. You have a point. |

hollywoodscape: I think black people have crab mentality .crabs and lobsters are delicious by the way.
For one ,most black nations / communities are underdeveloped and disorganized and most black people in this world are poor . Black people have a bad image and history and also feel innately/subconsciously inferior to lighter skin. Eastern Europe , south Asia and parts of Latin america may also be slightly susceptible to crab mentality due to poverty and inferiority . You are right about crab mentality tho |

Majority of those bragging online here know down deep in their hearts that there is nothing REAL at home that will sustain them if they decide to go back home,
We are witness to how IDP camps are springing up in the east, so Igbos need Nigeria more than they think. What is this fool saying? IDP camps in the South East? And who also told you that nothing real is at home to sustain those who choose to relocate? The IPOB directive may not be in order, but spare me that crap about IDP and nothing real for them to do IF they choose to relocate. And @ your last paragraph, who does not need Nigeria? |

Lloydfolarin: My friend, i have a younger brother who works with one of these new generational banks, he wanted to leave the country at a point but warned him. He is doing well for himself today in Nigeria.
Have you noticed that Nigerians who were born in US/UK and other western countries are coming back home to look for work. If you are in doubt, look at all the OAP on your radio stations and tell me 80% are not either British Nigerians or American Nigerians.
Davido, Banky W and a lot of them have American passport by d virtue of being born in US but they all ran to Nigeria at a point to make.
I am talking to you like a brother, if you are dreaming to make it big in life, live a good life, western world won't make that happen. You ll pay bills all through your life until retirement.
Have you ask yourself this, why are those Nigeria uncles and Aunties who live in western world except few who were involved in fraud are not buying houses in Lekki and other nice places?
The best place to become super rich or moderate rich is Nigeria.
I live in UK From what you wrote, I see that you are the typical Nigerian who equates success in life with having plenty plenty money and buying big jeeps etc Sometimes, a quality life is beyond money, that is what you should know tho. Making money as a Nigerian MAY be a bit easier in Nigeria, but is the quality of life something to write home about? |

nextstep: That's one way to look at it, but like you say that is a very competitive cost of word-class education. There are plenty of families (probably 1 million) who can afford it, which is how all these private universities are able to exist.
Now, what govt should do is make all govt schools private, then subsidize the poor students with scholarships and grants, maybe even loans. The federal schools simply won't get better if they remain govt run Very good idea |
