You want to force investors to invest in your region while nothing is done to make the environment conducive for such a critical decision.
You can't eat your cake and have it.
Lead the way by asking your folks to invest there. I think it has to br a joint effort between all the tiers of government to develop the region. Looking at the current structure, the federal/State government cannot do it alone Anambra is currently doing very well, and all they need is the federal support other states as time goes on should do same too |

Saint83: When GEJ who hails from South-South or Niger Delta Was The President for 6years ,what did he do for the region? You guys are expecting Northern to develop your region, jokers If that is how an average Nigerian thinks, what is the point of remaining as one country then? Every président must see every inch of this country as his home land, and must do his best to develop it without prejudice And it's hypocrisy and wickedness that many of you lie lives get jittery on the sound of referendum or secession, yet are still happy within themselves to see the eastern region have second class status in the country When the shit hits the fan, all of you will be shocked |

edwife: Those of you saying leave home, where to? Your parents know how the labour market is right now and it's only psychotic parents that will expect their kids to leave home after NYSC. No wonder most youths end up doing fraudulent activities, squatting with people who don't want them and being treated like nonentities. Where you are going to live, ain't you going to contribute anything? So why not do same at home?
It is the responsibility of parents to care for their children, provide security for them. Nothing is ever too much for your kids, until a child find his way in life, a parent is responsible. Too bad African parents breed kids to care for them when they grow, irrespective of their financial capabilities.
What you need to do is to start acting like an adult living at home. Go and find some manual jobs, volunteer in churches, foundations anywhere they need help. Ask if your parents need help with anything, repair jobs, errands etc...
The menial jobs you do here and there will allow you have pocket money so not to depend on your parents for little things. As long as you have a roof and food, you can save money and re-strategize.
Just don't be lazy staying at home, simple! You are a wise person Don't mind all these people |

I remember an old Thisday my dad bought in 2003 treated it extensively (I was still a JSS kid then ) and my dad, an FIRS retired director who was a tax consultant for Ibeto spent a lot of time railing about how Obasanjo crippled Ibeto's cement business. Dangote around the time was at war with pretty much the entire cement producing cartel because of the government bias towards him which opened the way for his dominance in the sector. Ibeto did himself, and should have himself to blame In Nigeria, you have to lobby. But as a typical Anambra man, he did not do the needful Dangote has nothing to do with the woes of Ibeto You guys should come with another story biko |

Meanwhile encourage people to use your "500k investment capital from your uncle" story to deceive youths who do not know that a brand new car then was less than 10k which approximate value today is not less than 5m.
Which means your uncle gave you about N500m today's worth of cash plus free Export licenses to stay ahead What is this one saying? Is Dangote the only beneficiary of government patronage? Igbos especially under Obj also benefited from patronage as well Ifeamyi Uba is also a beneficiary of patronage Same with other tribes in Nigeria as well (Yorubas especially eg Otedola) Yet out of all of them, Dangote stands out. waec is still only means to test the performance of both country. taking the lead in three times consecutively in waec result is a very a good standard. Ghana is s hub of education in west Africa sub region. the foreign exchange program among Americans, British and Ghanian student speak a whole lot of the standard. education is a source of national income to Ghana economy and that should tell you a lot of the standard the government has put in place for it.
Ghana is currently a serving as an education tourist for west Africa French countries likewise Cameroon, Gabon and Kenya. I was surprised to see the number of Guinean, Gabonese and Senegalese students in UCC. Deep within me I felt bad for my country But it's alright tho |

Nigeria universities are not an option for average Ghanian planning to study abroad . And the stereotypes of corruption in Nigeria universities is a well known case over there . the best way to judge Ghanian and Nigeria education system will be through WAEC. Ghana school outperform her Nigeria counterpart. at least for a record of three years consecutive. No mind them Bias and blind patriotism is the cause of all this |

Protein0: Then it would do u a lotta good to review the trend of d discourse to see when performances became a yard stick to make Ghana ahead of Nigeria in education and what my stance has been and still is. The intelligent illterate Nigerians or the ones that were trained here and go to the supposed better societies and still floor those trained within a better system. It's good to know that you've not been to Ghana, but did you remember to ask your "correspondents" how tertiary education is being funded there? If no, kindly do so. If yes, tell us and compare it with ours. What could be a worse mediocrity than comparing dissimilar things? And you think a single factor is responsible for seeking education outside Nigeria? I have heared you sir For records again, Nigeria's education system is ill but Ghana's is still not a suitable one to compare with it and if you doubt it, give just 3 things common to Ghana and Nigeria responsible for the supposed better education. I have been to Ghanaian universities too, Legon, UCC and KNUST.. even RMU I kid you not when I say their schools are better Better system, so much so that they are the magnet both for Nigerian students, Francophone Africa who wants to study in an English speaking university, and even some Caucasians and Indians/ Chinese The world recognises quality, so when your country does not attract a good percentage of international students, the truth without sentiment is that your school is not good enough. Giant of Africa indeed |

The remaining don't know anything except Zoo will fall. Buhari is a bigot. Kwankwaso is extremists. North are this that bla bla. Yoruba are slaves, Afonja etc
That is watz inside the brain of the senseless ones and going by online statistics they are the majority. What are you saying? Most of your people don't see beyond tribalism; with most of them saying that they can never vote a Christian or a southern person Your people vote like zombies without a mind of their own. FriendNG: You're wrong. You still have little knowledge of the north. Hausa Fulani is your problem? Right
The main states of Fulani are NE and not North west you should know that and Hausa is a lungua franca.
The north is not about you being from NW or NE but do people like you.
Buhari will defeat anyone from the NE. If you think the north is about this guy is from my region then u are dreaming. Stop deceiving yourself.
Put Dankombo for that chair let's see.
Put Sunusi Lamido he will also fail
Put Dangote he will also fail
Put Atiku he will also fail
And keep deceiving yourself Igbo will never vote for a northerner. Your views about Igbo is out of ignorance So all those people who voted Buhari from Imo state are ghosts? Or those ones in Lagos? I have relatives who are die hard Buhari people because they thought that he will come to fight corruption So you are wrong, Igbos actually vote people from the north that they like, and so not show traits of extremism |

bejeiodus: Dankwambo is good but he lacks visibility. How many Southerners know Dankwambo? Even in the Northeast, he is not well known. Atiku will make a mince of him in the Northeast, not to talk of Buhari. So you naively think any politician can win the presidential poll without the support of the Northwest? Guy, you need to look at the results of the presidential elections that have been held since 1999. A presidential candidate can win Without north west Jonathan did so in 2011 25% vote in 24 states plus majority vote is enough to win the election The last time I checked, the NW is not up to 10 states |
