jhudit: You are very very senseless but have no one to tell you. What is justification about that post? That illustration is wrong! If you didn't understand my question then ask questions and stop showing your stupidity.
In case you still don't get it, that question is like saying "would you want an ugly fat man to rape you?" Nobody will desire rape, irrespective of the offenders physical look...! I know you still won't get it, dumb men. Oh lawd Please dash this small girl sense. Where in that comment did I imply that rape is desirable UNDER any circumstance? I just used that example to paint a picture in his head, on how undesirable rape is. Rape is unwanted, hence why I said that the rapist chooses you but you don't choose her. But your brain power is low, you will not understand the message I was passing to him, to discard that thought of wanting to get raped |

safarigirl: see what you're saying, is the reason why you belong in Nigeria. Don't ever go to a country that has law and order, you won't last.
Have a nice day And what makes you think I am a local boy without foreign exposure? I'm just asking you on whether you think that "law" was fair in the guy and instead of you to address the issue on ground, you are still reacting emotionally And I used to like your insightful posts on this forum over the years, but for you to respond like this, I'm feeling kinda disappointed. Telling me not to go to a country that has "law and order" that I will not last. What is the correlation between that and the topic on ground? pick out the holes in my argument, let me hear you and reason it (as you normally do, especially when it comes to women based topics) but you did not do that As much as I believe in the law, that law must be fair and not stupid, or biased. On that case, I still think more things should have been looked into instead of disgracing that guy. What's wrong with that? MODIFIED www.nairaland.com/3755008/men-subject-sexual-harassment-work/2#55797535Talking of an uncivilized country, many womenin this country are in denial that indeed men are harassed sexually in any form, while this subject matter is a recognized thing in the same "civilised countries" you love to mention. What do you have to say to that? |

safarigirl: sexual molestation is not rape. It is molestation and that is what I have been calling it. BTW, in none of those situations did we have an unconscious or semi-conscious participant. If you are groping someone when said person is asleep, it is assumed the person is not conscious of their actions
I have given an example of two drunk housemates who had CONSENSUAL sex in the eyes of most on BB SA, but the girl claimed the next morning to have been too drunk to remember giving consent and the guy was disqualified for that. That is the closest example to what happened in BBN. I know that if such a thing had happened in BB Naija, y'all would call the girl all sorts of names, that is the pitiful country Nigeria is And for you to support the girl in this case is terrible So she claimed not giving consent and the guy was just disqualified like that TWO DRUNK PEOPLE. When they played the tape, was there any resistance from the girl? did she at any point say no, or push the guy back Was she cajoled into getting drunk What other factors were considered? Instead two ADULTS had drunk sex and the man's life was ruined by it And you still support that action within you It's a shame, very big shame |

safarigirl: in America, if you sleep with a 17-year old girl and you are a 20-year old guy, it will be termed abuse of a minor. Is it fair? No, not exactly, but it is THE LAW.
The fact that barbarians occupy this part of the world does not mean everywhere else is filled with people who only know how to take without consideration for their actions
Nigeria still operates that useless law that a husband can have non-consensual sex with his wife. So don't worry, you and your ilk are safe as long as you remain here. Try what Kemen did to TBoss in SA, let me see how you won't see the four walls of a cell That law goes two ways... The same way a 20 year old woman will go to jail for sleeping with a 17 year old guy... It's vice versa. And non consensual SEX between husband and wife is not what I support. You did not even address the main thing I spoke about and you are getting emotional Why would two drunk people have sex and it's the guy that gets the heat. What if it was the guy that was being slept with against his consent. That does not make sense to me. A drunk girl taken advantage of by a clear eyed guy should be dealt with tho. And for the record, I'm not in support of sexual violations against BOTH GENDERS. |

missyadorable: How can a man be complaining of sexual harrassment? Men always want sex...Something they chase, spend money on,tell lies to get being offered on a platter of gold irrespective of the person or location is a plus
having sex with his boss/colleague at work is a mega achievement.Something to discuss with the guys at a bar over chilled beer and be applauded and envied by peers.
Unless a child under 18years,there is nothing like male sexual harrassment. An invitation for sex is every man's dream. Better leave that one You obviouskt have no clue about what is happening.. dayowunmi: Okay, what he did was wrong, he was disqualified from the show and he's apologized. What else do you want. I think at some point we have to define what is rape! If it was a tboss that went to grope a male housemate, I doubt it will be termed rape! On Bigbrother Africa several years back, a Botswana house mate, named Miss Peo was groping the Ghanaian male housemate and demanding for sex and it was all caught on tape, the guy refused her though and nothing happened! Infact Miss Peo and some other former housemates including Uti was even invited to visit the house during the edition Tayo faniran participated in. Somebody was groping someone and the person being groped said no and the one groping her stopped, that is rape? Somebody help me, am confused o. safarigirl: the useless man crawled into her bed, so she should run out because he was in it?
Someone that had his dick out while he was touching her inappropriately and you said nothing happened?
Of course such a thing is normal in this useless country filled with animals like you and Kemen so how will you see any wrong in it?
Even in SA, when two drunk housemates had sex, the guy was disqualified because the girl claimed she was inebtiated and was not aware. They were BOTH drunk, but who got the axe? Who was further humiliated? Women's rights groups followed it up, the guy never got the kind if exposure Kemen is gettaxe now
That is what takes place in a civilized society, not this jungle you animals live in.
Your mentality is as a result of your society You see yourself? So two drunk people had sex, not that the girl was drunk and he was not o, they were both drunk, and because she claimed she was not aware, the guy was disqualified, and you, Safari support such ruling? Shameful If the guy's eye was clear, and he was taking advantage of the drink girl, it would have been a different case. This is just pathetic. Kemen did wrong, was disqualified, and should move on. But for the record again, he did not RAPE T Boss. We can call that assault tho. And if indeed people were wise in this country and not idiots, this should have been a trigger for a female based ngo or women rights whatever to run a campaign to educate young men (and women too) in secondary schools and tertiary institutions on how to conduct themselves with the opposite sex in the proper way, consent and al like it will be done in a "civilised country"; they are running their smelling mouth on social media They only call civilised country when it suits their argument Rubbish |

And Britain leaving EU has been their biggest regret. You obviously don't watch the news. Brexit vote was won by a small margin, but with catastrophic consequences Now Theresa May is confused and the remain voters are kicking. The soft landing for Britain would be giving them the same status as Switzerland and Norway, but that negates the whole purpose of leaving in the first place. pchukwudi: Who the bleep wrote that constitution you babble about? God? Even the Torah that was given to Moses by God himself was later replaced by a bunch of more humanistic epistles written by Paul.
What kind of idiocy makes you think that a constitution which has lost touch with the aspirations of millions of people is still worthy of allegiance -especially when such a constitution directly violates the fundamental rights of indegineous people to self-determination?
My friend, all constitutions, regardless of how elaborate and progressive they may seem, are written codes. None of them is a living document. Thus when the living societies evolve to new realities, their constitutions should either be forced to evolve too and reflect the given society's present realities and wishes or the dead constitution loses its relevance. This is why civilized nations conduct referendum.
If this is true for progressive constitutions, how much truer do you think it should be for the repressive and extractive constitution we seem to have here?
Do you have any idea how many times the US has had to ammend her constitution?
Do you know that even the UK has no written constitution to its name as we speak?
So what's your problem? How could someone like you who claim to be enlightened not know that its silly to tie millions of people down to an obsolete document that no longer represent their interests? Go and sit down. I am telling you as it is on ground and you are talking zig zag. TheCongo2: OMG, very sad. We all have been through rejection one way or the other. The worst thing is when your loved ones reject you because you aren't doing good financially. But then again, no situation is permanent and the earth is spinning constantly. Those who were first at one point may find themselves been last. Conversely, the last ones may find themselves be the first ones. Therefore, never underestimate anyone because we don't know what tomorrow may bring about.
Just take it as a learning process and move on. One day, she may be embarrassed to look at you in the eyes. She may even pretend she never had an instagram account.
I remember when I was growing up in the Democratic Republic of Congo, a primary school friend of mine befriended some white people in the neighborhood. He started to mingle with white people in Secondary school. One day I met him on the streets and the guy pass me as if we never knew one another. He even put on a very serious face. I was hurt but there was no much I could do. I had to accept the fact that he was in a different world. I even started to thing that maybe he didn't remember me after all.
Then all of the sudden BAM, I was in the United States of America. This news became a sensation in the city where I grew up among all my peers. The next thing I knew the childhood friend ,who I thought didn't remember me, was looking for me. OMG, it means he never forget me all this time but preferred to ignore me because of the fact he had white friends.
You live and learn. And one thing I have learned is you never know who will help you and when.
I have come across this thought on Karma online:
"When a bird is alive, it eats ants. When the bird is dead, ants eat the bird. Time and circumstances can change at any time. Don't devalue or hurt anyone in life. You may be powerful today, but remember, time is more powerful than you. One tree makes a million match sticks but only one match is needed to burn a million trees. So be good and do good." Hmmm Such is life BTW can you still speak French very well? |
