Despite the bailout funds, the South still owes. After,we will blame the north for our failures and woes

It's so sad that someone will be going to work from 8am to 4pm, five days a week, for more than six months, only for nothing to be paid to him.

Nigeria's problem is actually bad leaders.
Don't mind them

So aboki states are not owing salaries, in comparison to their southern counterparts, even tho the south collects more money from federal allocations plus their IGR

I hope you people are taking note

Romance › Re: Men Are Getting Weaker And Women Are Getting Stronger by Ugosample(m): 11:25am On Apr 24, 2017
lifedynamics:
Okay Shall we begin.
This is just a big dose of hypocrisy lady. When men say they want to be the primary providers of the house hence richer than their wives you all say it does not have to be that way. You just freakin said women have a right to disrespect men because they ask for their assistance in running the home, but if men they want to be richer than their wives and be the primary providers you'll tag it as "PRIDE" smh.

Anyways let us address the issue at hand, i am a 16 year old but that has not stopped me from realizing what is truly going on this country. I had a bunch of idiots as classmates. What we are talking about starts from a young age. They were up all night midnight calling when these same fools had WAEC maths the next morning. They fought over the phone and made stupid while those of us who actually cared about our futures were reading or sleeping. My question is what do you think the girls they are risking their lives calling would feel like?

Of course they'd feel special which is what is going on here everyday. We have men who go to clubs and drink their monthly pay-cheques away weekly (Yes i said "WEEKLY"wink running after girls who see them as broke, sex-starved idiots who see them as men who only want to get in their pants. Why will they respect men?

Nah bruh, some guys are the problem.

Feminism has been misinterpreted by many foolish women who think the ideology is to mistreat their husbands or throw many "BOY BYES!" for the single women. It is an incentive created by white people who want their female kids to get proper education or stand up for themselves when their husbands try to crush their dreams and freedom of life and movement, by women who are tired of being raped, beaten up and thrown away by men whether romantically involved with them or not, that is the idea. I just smile and shake my head for women (especially african women) who try to reciprocate the ideology and end up doing the wrong things which are naturally infuriating to men.

Despite the fact that i am seen as a "young person", i believe i am a lot more mature than idiots who destroy their destinies for women who feel like they can control them cause they have what they want, asses, boobs and pussies.
Are you sure you are "16" huh

Or that is your football age grin grin

Because what you wrote up there is far more mature than a 16 year old.

Thumbs up.

I especially like your point on how some women misinterpret feminism as being rude, an avenue to dominate and maltreat the men in their lives and being generally saucy.

But there are still women here who know the real essence of feminism, not man hating misandry.

You try.

P.S. If not that you are "underage" I would have told Mama Nkechi to give you two green bottles on my head. grin cheesy

I dont believe this, unless the person has something to do in London.

Its not easy flying 6 hrs from lagos to london, hang around the airport then fly another 6 hrs to Abuja. even if the person has the money.

Then on return trip, you fly from abuja to london then to lagos.

The supposed implosion of Nigeria is nothing but a pipe dream. I've met with people from different parts of the country who are busy working to help build this country.

An example is Mr Okoro of Greater Works organization who is going all over the country training many Nigerians in modern Agric business. His organization have help many Nigerians of different ethnic groups to start participating and benefitting from the current Agric Revolution. In a few years time, we will start seeing the benefit of the contributions of his organization.

What story will be told about you in the future when Nigeria eventually comes out other woods. angry huh

Travel › Re: Why Nigerians Prefer To Live Abroad by Ugosample(m): 11:43am On Apr 23, 2017
pansophist:
ugosample,

What you said may be true, albeit, it's a human thing. Humans are territorial beings, and this animalistic trait has been at the core of our evolutionary hardwiring for centuries. Furthermore, some of the most horrible structural discrimination against the ''other'' was done by Europeans, the recent which are the first and second world wars. I am not justifying horrible treatment within Africans, but tribalism and xenophobia against others are not something Africans have a monopoly on and even still, Africans display such at an amateur level.

I live in the Netherlands and it is not a news that eastern and central European countries do the dirtiest jobs and are looked down upon, and yes, they are white. Specifically, you may google racism against Poles in the UK and tons of article will emerge, central EU countries are routinely victims of hate crimes up til today from their fellow European brethren, so please, do not cherry pick and extrapolating discriminating acts as something fundamentally African while praising the other. It is wrong, to lightly put. You mentioned America, which further disservices your whole post. It is no news that America is a bleeped up place in terms of ethnic relations, and a headquarter of discrimination up till this very day.

If the Europeans you praised are the beacon of hospitality, then why is it applied selectively? why are African Americans and Latino still at the bottom of the economic ladder? or maybe I should also remind you that the Irish, Polish, Italian were institutionally discriminated until they were considered white, and could eat from the master's table. Lastly, to fully understand the nuances and interconnectedness of ethnic and racial relations, a bit knowledge of history is instrumental in dissecting and analyzing past scenarios, to avoid making wrong conclusions.
Well noted....

But I will counter your points in due time, for I'm occupied ATM

Watch out for this space

If only those calling for breakup knows the full implication of that. Imagine the country breaks up, tell me, into how many parts? Is there a part or tribe that gets along? Or does the Igbos think for a minute that the Ijaws will let then dictate to them and vice versa. Or the Fulanis get along with Hausas? We can go on and on. So people should think before clamouring for secession. Because it's not mutually exclusive to anyone and it will only lead to upheaval, violence and more upheaval.
Don't mind them.

I’m talking about support and association from the organisers who I can assume recognised that he did something wrong since he was disqualified yet he is still being given the go ahead to go around on media tours alongside the other housemates.

We even had ‘public figures’ feeling comfortable enough to joke about it, in a ‘sane’ country these people would’ve lost endorsements.

I’m not even saying he should be crucified forever or that there should be no chance at redemption, I’m just appalled at the way it has been treated so lightly, they didn’t ‘send him message’ but their making light of it speaks volumes. Especially when the guy in question has barely shown remorse or even offered a proper apology (he said he was sorry for the way he was ‘perceived’).
What if the organisers and the other housemates know something that we don't? huh

If that guy Bleep up was very much, may be it will not be like this.
Just maybe

Then Bisola says she wants to hug Kemen and stupid girls have been going after her.
One even tagged one campaign on Twitter in an attempt to derobe her of that endorsement undecided
