With the ever growing divorce rate I've come to notice that most relationships(dating) last longer than the marital ones. Do you think getting married puts a strain on couples because they suddenly realise that they're obligated to stay together? They begin to find fault in each other, and things which could have been overlooked prior to marriage suddenly becomes unbearable. T hen we talk about infidelity; it seems to be rampant with married couples than unmarried ones. My question is, does taking the vow do something to some couples psych? |
Some people don't even understand what am saying here. I never said we don't call or visit but you all know that the closeness diminishes as they grow older, so let's stop diverting. I asked why?
and we're saying they become involved with other people, so affection is somewhat shared. |
teeo: For ur mind bayou just topped my list for that |
......and the boys wept. Karma really is a biaatch! |
Nigerians as usual sticking their nose in other people's business; now it's trans-Atlantic. smh Thank God Americans couldn't care less if they had boys or girls. |
Most times i see my siblings once a year or not at all, and phone calls come in maybe once in 2wks or more. Notwithstanding, we all remain loyal to one another and know that when the other is in need of help-financially,emotionally or otherwise- a phone call's all that needed to solve it. That's loyalty and it's really all that matters. |
My Jesus i love you more and more everyday; everytime I'm down and think of you, my whole life suddenly gets brighter. You are like a candle in my heart, lightening up every darkness. May the light of your love ever burn brighter in me. Amen |
Well....nobody. I'm a big bundle of joy ![]() |
Uhm Nope, i couldn't date a guy that has women slap his bum on stage. It is a nice picture tho . |
Ouch lotsa cry babies on this thread. OP you try jare . |
monex: and U use "it" to describe the child.A lot of people call their unborn babies 'it' when the sex is unknown; doesn't make it any less human. |
If you miss them so much then you should trying bridging the gap. Though the case of siblings growing apart when they're older isn't always common. It all depends on the upbringing, plus the fact that one is saddled with more responsibilities the older they get, so usually family take the back seat. Occasional phone calls and visits wouldn't hurt, but don't expect rainbows and unicorns simply cause you're the last child. Your siblings are all grown up, you need to grow up with them. |

I don't know what to say to you; it is a confusing situation. Personally i don't trust that gesture (flowers? Hmm), but i guess you could accept this one and let him know it'll be the last time just so he doesn't feel embarrassed and all. |

So if you could choose an animal's DNA to be paired with your usual human one (which i hear is possible btw) like in those sci fi movies and novels, what animal would it be and why? I'd take a shark's. They're immune to every sickness including cancer . Plus i get to breathe underwater . |
kunletiwoo: I'm coming to mess them up for you. ***Knocking at d door*****opens door holding a kitchen knife behind my back** I've got my eyes on ya lyka hawk . |

lipsyliscious: my dad is a knight in d catholic churchIf you read that properly you'd know i wasn't generalising. My initial post did say there 'may' be a problem. I've had catholic friends and we've had discussions like this in the past. If OP's girl is anything like said friends then there sure is a problem. |
