ChybuzzDD: Why? When you sell, you give us some reasons in case some of us are holders in the same and may want to benefit from the any ?secret info you have about the stock. Here, unlike in the NSE, it's we versus America. There's nothing to hide. And we watch each other's back. Na fight....we vs America |

emmanuelewumi: They are the best cost managers and will always get the job done. I remember few years ago when Airtel sacked Nigerian engineers and replaced them with Indian engineers for 75% of what the company paid Nigerian engineers. The company took the decision when the Nigerian engineers asked for a pay increase, even though the company was struggling with profitablity and bank loans.
The sum of N400 million was also discovered in the account of a Nigerian engineer with MTN some years ago, a sum that was equivalent to his salary for 20 years or more. Although he had barely spent 10 years in the company
The fear of Nigerian workers is the beginning of wisdom, we are not different from our political leaders So true Sir Everyone wants to hammer quick quick |

emmanuelewumi: Are you sure of that? After the unbundling of UPDC, UACN will get about 700 million units of UPDC REIT shares. Which I pray they will give to UACN shareholders Is this possible? UACN that like free cash flow |

emmanuelewumi: Possible if you annualize it for some companies and businesses, depending on the growth of the sector and business.
A business can have a 100% increase in profit in a year, Nestle Nigeria has been having a double digits growth in profit for the past 20 years the company increases prices at will and demand will also increase instead of decreasing.
The people invited to invest in MTN Nigeria in 2000, now have their N10 million grown to N4 billion in less than 20 years, earning annual dividend of over N200 million in a year.
So in business and Investment anything can happen, especially if their is a huge demand and growth opportunities for the products or services rendered by the business Making money while asleep sweet See how the initial funds have grown |

emmanuelewumi: You must have recovered the amount invested about 4 years ago through dividends, paid a dividend of 50k per share last year and you are currently on a capital appreciation of about 400% in less than 8 years Very true Sir I increased my holdings at N2 (bought 25% of my previous holding)..... The stock has made long-term investors smile |
Investment › Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by ukay2: 3:45pm On Nov 26, 2020 |
DexterousOne: Especially when I know that the stock is a dividends paying stock that will return at least >8% on an annual basis There really is no need IMO to do what we call "JIJO" in the other thread Though if the share price appreciate by over 100% ; you may want to trim your position a lil bit, to use that same cash to re enter when there is a dip to get more units.
Anyways Let's see what next year hold for us Very true Some stocks are not sell in a hurry....UCAP I bought at 90k are yet to be sold more than 7years ago. Dividend payments and Capital appreciation have been awesome |

RealityShot: Keep it simple man.
Warren Buffet said so.
You buy a business that is worth N10 a share at N5 and you are worrying about fluctuations in the future?
The stock can loose 50% of its value and you will still be alright.
I am still regretting selling that stock. But NEXT! Which stock are you regretting you sold? |

I also use some other brokers, but I find Morgan more suitable to me. Someone else may say a different thing as well but I understand Morgan Capital has 'Street credibility' here. Better soup no de advertise itself I have tasted other stockbrokers until I came in contact with MC, then..... |

feelamong: hahahahaha
i have always been close to the NSE........just that my exposure to the market has been very low in recent times...(no thanks to continuous naira devaluation)
I spend more time trading cryptos.
But it was clearly a no brainer to buy those days market was down......with interest rates this low and bond yields very low, fund manager simply have to increase their exposure to the markets. Moreover the valuations of most of our NSE listed coys are dirt cheap in dollars terms...
For now we go dey enjoy the market.....until we see another side of Emefielenomics Fantastic NSE is the only bride for now |
