Deadlytruth: That is it. Everyone came to this market to make money to avoid poverty post retirement age. Of what use is a fundamentally sound company that will not appreciate by even 10% in months where the dry bones are waking up and giving 600% in question of three weeks? Which sound stocks that have not appreciated more than 100% since March 2020 low? |

Leggitsam: In the equity market, if the preferred stock is not available, the available becomes the preferable. In d light of this, Vitafoam has suddenly becomes a scarce commodity and is no longer available at both market and bid prices. My bid of N8.55 at limit price was equally returned. I am not an analyst, but do believe that UCAP and Afripudential will match Vitafoam in dividends, capital appreciation and future growth. I am not going to pursue Vitafoam to double digits, which is imminent dz week. I will divert my stake and bet on both at the risk of my capital. It depends on what you want from the market.... You can plan to have the 3 stocks for continuous cash flow, so deliberate efforts to accumulate them over the years will be of help. Some people bought UCAP at 90k APR at N3 Vitafoam at N3 They have not sold and still getting good dividends as cashflow and still sitting on good capital appreciation too. |

TotoNaRubber: This reminds me about the time when our comrade Barry was saying he had N3m in his wallet, could he have misunderstood the "click withdrawal" button on MBA scam App as being the same as entering your ATM card pin to withdraw money from your Access/UBA account balance.
The gap between these two is like walking barefoot from Alaba market to Sangotedo in a very hot weather. Very painful end for hard earned monies Suprised disciplined guy like Barry was in it...life is quite interesting |

Who advised him to put his money in such?. Any retiree that puts such an amount in such a scheme means he/she was not just a worker but must have been high up. So he/she should have known better. Quick money always end in tears. Someone said Slow and steady wins when Fast and Quick is not available |

Oyindamolah: *FOOD FOR THOUGHT*
Kenyan runner Abel Mutai was only a few meters from the finish line, but got confused with the signs and stopped, thinking he had finished the race. A Spanish man, Ivan Fernandez, was right behind him and, realizing what was going on, started shouting to the Kenyan to keep running. Mutai did not know Spanish and did not understand.
Realizing what was going on, Fernandez pushed Mutai to victory.
A reporter asked Ivan, "Why did you do this?" Ivan replied, "My dream is that one day we can have some sort of community life where we push ourselves and also others to win."
The reporter insisted "But why did you let the Kenyan win?" Ivan replied, "I didn't let him win, he was going to win. The race was his."*
The reporter insisted and asked again, "But you could have won!" Ivan looked at him and replied: "But what would be the merit of my victory? What would be the honor of this medal? What would my Mother think of it?"
The values are transmitted from generation to generation. What values do we teach our children and how much do you inspire others to earn? Most of us take advantage of people's weaknesses instead of helping to strengthen them.
*IN THIS SEASON, I WANT EVERYONE OF US TO WIN. LET'S PUSH ONE ANOTHER TO THE FINISHING LINE. WE ALL DESERVE VICTORY**
*WELCOME TO YEAR 2021* Fantastic Thank you for sharing |

Is good if you can stay that long. Also try and buy more if prices come down (average down)at dividend markdown date and subsequently in the year. |

PETERiCHY: The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control has said that the nation’s health system is struggling to cope with the increasing number of coronavirus infections daily.
The centre warned that the nation would pay in January for disregarding the health protocols.
Speaking at the briefing of the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 on Tuesday, the Director-General, NCDC, Dr Chikwe Iheakwazu said, “We just faced the worst week since we started responding to this outbreak. We had more cases in Nigeria last week than in any other previous week since the beginning of the outbreak.
“January will be a tough month, no doubt about it. So, we have to brace ourselves for the consequences of the activities that we have decided to carry out in December.”
