Cerebrae: Hi, are international flights operating in Ghana? And how can someone enter Ghana amidst this border closure?
I'll really appreciate your response. Thanks I don't think Ghana is open for international flights |

DexterousOne: Naa
I space out that way so my points will be seen clearly That's it
Its intentional (and btw, we dont pay for extra space lmao )
When one posts a long post with no spacing I find it difficult to read Thats why I like to space out my points I like your writings and the spacings.... |

MonsieurCoder: 3 difference stocks. DANCEM, MTNN, ZENITH. I made the buy order at current market price. I put a call to them and they are saying it's a technical issue (whatever that means). I am just new to buying stocks on the NSE and wanted to know if it's normal. It obviously isn't. Better to open account with Morgan Capital Stockbroker and trade yourself, except your too busy to log in and buy your stocks at your desired prices and volumes within 30mins of login. |

emmanuelewumi: As the PA he knows everything about his boss, his Investments, account balance etc. The PA has an entitlement mentality to his boss wealth...
He stole about $90,000 from his boss, he believed the guy should be able to write it off .. People who worked for their money won't do that
The PA spent the money on frivolities, which is very common among us ie Africans Why the PA self? I don't subscribe to all these my PA sometimes. |

Over the next 5 years u would av paid up the balance. What of if the owner wants to use the 20M to buy FGN bond to avoid Tennants and Maintenance Stress? Will he agree with this your deal? |

Barrytone: Permit me to laff, also tell him to consider the troubles surrounding that building, pre and post. Also remember that in your calculated 15years you do not manufacture tenants that are on standby to occupy immediately one tenant packs out. Also remember you will be maintaining that house during the said 15years. In 15years u are only getting your capital, no interest. That building will boost your ego, physical achievement and attracts penalty. House is not an investment for a life time, its beneficial for reincarnation purposes. Loooooool |

*Copied* .
Dare and Halima Studied Engineering at a University in Niger State. They were both Classmates and after Five years of Studying hard, they both graduated. After graduation, Fate took them through different paths of life.
5 Years later, Halima after much frustration of securing a job, ended up as a Secretary in a Building firm earning 50,000 Naira monthly.
Meanwhile, Dare on the other hand, couldn't Secure a Job and ended up a Taxi Driver, He makes At least 5,000 daily and if he works for only 20 days in a month, He makes 100,000 Naira that month.
One Evening, Halima closed from work and was at the bus stop waiting for taxi when Dare stopped. She hopped in when she discovered the taxi was going her way but little did she know it was Dare. All through the journey, she was lost in her Phone.
She reached her bus Stop and after alighting, just when she was about paying, she took a look at the driver and their eyes met, wow! They were both happy.
"Is this you?" they both asked themselves simultaneously as if they planned it. Halima gave him money but Dare insisted she keep it. He was happy to see her and for old time sake, he left the money for her even when she insisted that she wanted to pay. They both exchanged contact and left.
Well, Halima went home that night and was lost in thought. Not as if Dare was looking bad but Dare driving Taxi? She couldn't wrap her head around it. She Pitied him. Felt Sorry for him. If Dare had allowed her she would have paid him and beg him to keep the change.
Little did she know that, Dare actually has another Taxi running for him, He is a Land owner and he is planning on developing it soon. But because he was driving a Taxi, She felt Pity for him.
On the other hand, Dare felt sorry for himself too. Before he slept that night, he remembered Halima, how neatly she dressed and nice she smells, "She must be earning over 300,000 Naira per month" he said to himself. He felt ashamed, He felt like a failure and he felt she was way ahead of him financially and otherwise.
Little did he know that, If Halima removes the transportation fare and feeding money from her monthly salary, it will take her at least 3 Months to earn what he earns monthly.
Sadly, this could be some of our reality, you measure your progress and success with that of your friends, Classmates and Relatives even with very limited information you have about them.
You think yours is worse because you look dirtier, you think yours is worse because you are not on Corporate wears, you think yours is worse because the other person acts and looks Nicer. *Stay Focused and Face your life. It's not a competition. Stop Comparing things, you don't have the full picture. Every one is running on his own lane. Be content* . |

emmanuelewumi: They were investing for capital appreciation, they we making money during the real estate bubble using short term funds for a long term projects, they were not cautiously optimistic, they thought the party, that is the good time will go on for ever..
They have been in the business for years, they do not have reserves, steady cash flow.
If not for the likes of First Trustees and other institutional Investors of the company, who suggested a REIT in 2013, that could create a steady cash flow for the business and SEC protection for the REIT I wonder how UPDC will be able to survive.
When UPDC was cash strapped in 2018, it was UPDC REIT that bought one of the investment properties of UPDC for over N3 billion
The company made huge profit from 1004 Estate real estate deal, too bad the company could not retain 100 apartments in the estate which could create steady annual cash flow for the business
We need a disruptor in the real estate sector UPLC has been a lazy and Wasteful father to his son UPDC-REIT Loooooool |

ojesymsym: We are probably really beyond redemption. Someone on this forum keep hammering on mentality, I believe he is saying the truth, there is a certain mentality that the blacks have, using Ema's defination, socialite mentality taken to the extreme. It was at a wedding Nigerian politician sometime back that gold plated iPhones were shared as souvenirs, something even the owners of Apple wouldn't do. We mismanage public funds without thinking |
