[quote author=NuttyChoky post=44434933]Very horrible service from Investment- One...

Took them several months to do little things... till today I don't have my FBNH dividends of last year, account officer picks call and respond to emails only when they feel like. I am of one mind to add the MD on LinkedIn and give them a piece of my mind.

With all these negatives I wonder why they charge 4% for in and out (1.86% buyside & 2.14% sellside)

I still have a long term portfolio there that I don't trade but I have almost 80% of my investment funds with Morgan Capital now...

I had similar experience with investment-one ,but when I complained to .....enquiries@investment-one.com....via the help of one of their staff that saw how frustrated I was then with their services.....,

their ogas saw the mail and gave everybody involved serious warning on sidelining customers request,

since then all my mails and calls to customer care/my account officer, name one hand them they answer me now...am enjoying their services now..

I think anybody involved with poor services should do same...

Its unfortunate

Another disadvantage on inv one easy trade is that you cannot cancel an order once given until market close at 4 pm. If you need to cancel you have to call your accounts officer. This is huge disadvantage which Morgan does not have.
OK,,,so one can cancel an order when it has entered the floor....

Investment One does not do such at all except you send a mail...

OK great. Now this is what I do most of the time and it's what I did on the trade I placed today. A market order, to add just a little number of units to the ones I already have on FBNH and it wasn't executed.

I was online a lot today and lots of FBNH were traded so how come a Market order slipped by? If it was a price limit I'll pretend to understand.
Did you check the pending order platform to ensure your order went to trading floor?

I bought some stocks today with price limit self and it went through.

As for your account officer name and table your complaints.

Or

Maybe nobody wants to sell for you looooool

Please how did you do this E-dividend thing?
I mailed a scanned copy of my form to first registrars. They asked me to send the hard copy to their office with passport attached and stamped by the bank(no provision for passport on the form).
This whole process is complicated.
Please do I need to attach passport to all the forms even when there is no provision for it?
Yessooo attached your passports
Also include your BVN in the form

Hello House,

I don't how many people use Investment-One, but I do and recently I've begun to notice some unacceptable lapses in their service delivery. So I don't know if there's anyone else experiencing this or it's just me.

Like a little over a week ago I placed an order through mail and it went unacknowledged and unexpected. I was upset.

Today again, I just observed the same thing. So perhaps there's anyone with similar experience, before I know which step person go take next. angry
I use investment one...

Just send the order via easy trade online platform...
It goes directly to trading floor asap

Very simple.

1) With 3.3m You should get 3M naira worth of bonds ,2) For The Interest every 6mth at 233k ,3) August .

The Above is valid at 12% yield only. If the yield changes..You need to talk to the Treasury department of your Bank. .

@ukay2 Hope you Get the Point.
Please how did you arrive at 3.3m principal amount to purchase 3m worth of bonds...I thought it will be 30,000 extra she should add to the 3m, to secure the bond...

Please explain more to me...
Thanks

1. It depends on some market conditions at time of purchase of the bond such as current yield, years to maturity etc

2. Coupons will be constant every 6 months @(3m x15.54%) /2 = 233k

3. Coupons are paid February and August every year. So if you buy in March, next coupon which will be the first is August.
Thanks

So @current yield of 12%, how much will she use to buy the 3m bond?

A friend wants an enquiry, so am bringing it to this forum floor to discuss so that i will not give her wrong answers as am yet to get paid my 1st coupon payment which is today, but for the weekend...

If someone wants to invest 3 million naira FGNBond(2020) at the current rate...12%

1) What is the total amount she will use to procure the bond?

2) How much will her 6 monthly coupon be till maturity?

3) Which exact date will she be paid her first coupon interst??

Have you opened an online account with them? If you have, the usual way is to check how much you have in the fund one day against another day...same way you will do for a savings account.

If you have not, just go to FBN capital site and request for one.
Oga Carpenter, STANBIC IBTC Bank MMF as @ yesterday is 6.89%...going down...

Why is it so?

Why MMF interest not the same among different fund managers?

Gurus in the House....

Should I buy FBNH and UBA for medium to long term plans..

I already have these stocks in my portfolio FBNH (@7.5) and UBA(@4.0)... I want to average down...

At their current prices, is it a good entry point for medium to long term?

Sir, this question will be best answer if the amount of such investment is stated (That is, how much you intend to invest either in NSE or buying the land).
It is N250,000 only
