Bless Gombs for the daily update of ROR. Your update is of great help for people who could not have access to ROR in other formats. But where is Mabell, the original creator of this thread? Did she hand over to you or you saw a need and decided to meet that need. |
There is no need for trading insults here. RCCG have the right to build a bigger meeting hall. But we can suggest that the use of satelite and internet to broadcast activities during their annual conventions to selected parishes and centres. This strategy will reduce traffic and hardships experinced by members and participants. Modern techonology has made it possible to have real time life transmission of any event across various centres. Some churches are doing it already. This is only a suggestion and not binding on RCCG. |
Again, tithe is 10%. Atuche gave a donation. We can debate on the donation but lets get the terms right. Most people posting do not know the difference between tithes and donations. EFCC plays to the gallery all the time. Last time, they published stories in the dailies of how they are investigating a particular church for money laundering. The so called investigation never saw the light of the day.Let EFCC proceed with the trial of Atuche and spare the details of how much he donated or pays to his lawyers. |
He gave a general advice. Every church encourages members to marry within. Few make it a law to marry only members. Redeemed marry from outside also. It is not a law. My friend, a top worker in Redeemed married from Foursquare and they are living happily. So it is only an advice.I wonder why N/landers are always quick to rain insults on people without reading between the lines? For a man to marry, he ought to have a means of livelyhood. Even if the wife to be be is working or runs her business, the man should have a means of income also. |

And TB Joshua has been hosting several African presidents. Not a member of the two churches but listens to them. I like the two pastors.Adeboye for his humulity and Joshua for generousity and teachings on love. So the post is not necessary at all. |
To tell u how short minded peeps are. The same Pastor Adeboye hosted Buhari and Bakare. |

General Superintendent of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry, Pastor William Kumuyi took a new wife last week in London. When the news broke, it sparked mixed reactions. While some felt it was in order, not a few wondered why the 71-year old cleric needed a new wife. The church has opened up on the turn of event, reports Assistant Editor (News) OLUKOREDE YISHAU Dressed in a modest suit, Pastor William Kumuyi and Esther Blaize , clad in a pink and purple skirt suit, exchanged the marriage vow last Wednesday. Guests were later ushered into the Crowne Plaza Hotel, London for a reception ceremony. And just like that, the General Superintendent of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry got married for the second time. Two days ago, key leaders of the church across the country, who were not privileged to attend the modest ceremony, were made to watch the video of the proceedings. Pastor Kumuyi lost his first wife, Biodun on April 11 last year. He took the news with calm. He even went on to handle the convention and shocked many by preaching at the funeral of his late wife. At the time of her death, Kumuyi was 70 years old. When asked last year if he was going to take a new wife, he said it was too early to think of that. With his age, not a few also thought he might just stay unmarried for the rest of his life. A statement by the church yesterday said Kumuyi’s decision to remarry was not entirely his. The statement endorsed on his behalf by the church’s Secretary, Pastor L Nnadozie said his marriage to Esther sparked joy and spontaneous happiness among members of the church. The statement reads: “Pastor Kumuyi had lost his wife, Biodun in April last year. The death of the woman affectionately called ‘mummy’ or ‘mama’ by members of the church, became a cause for concern for leaders in the church as she was almost inseparable from her husband. The church leaders were so concerned that the pastor must not remain lonely, that they led a delegation to encourage him to begin praying to God to give him another wife. The leaders also began praying for their pastor to get another partner. Although initially reluctant, Pastor Kumuyi later prayed and testified to the leaders that God had answered their prayers. This is what culminated in the marriage ceremony in London.” The statement revealed that the new wife, whose other names are Folashade Aduke, is the National and International Woman Co-odinator of the church. She is 65. And wait for this: she was never married, because, according to Nnadozie, she committed her life to the Lord. |

corrections in love . Maybe He is the lord of those in the congregation and not of the song leader. |
Vengeance ministry. I swear by Kunleoshobo's tithe envelope, the ministry is located near my house here in Lagos. |
@ KunleOshob, While we are it, try to soften your language. That I don't agree with you doesn't mean we should trade insults. Since you wont believe if kenyan28 physically produces her test results, why split hairs over it? Whether you verify her claims or not, she said she is healed. And if she ids healed, she is healed. We asked her on this thread to go for more confirmatory tests all which turned out negative. What then is remaining? As a journalist, I have carefully investigated claims of healing and I know what I discovered. This is one case I would have loved to followed but for lack time to travel. But by the time I conclude the case, then I will come to Nairaland with my findings. |
KunleOshob:sorry to disappoint you. I work for one of the top Newspapers in the country. My e-mail is on my last post. Buzz me and I will furnish you with more details. |
babaearly:Who told you that? Name the so called word of faith preachers who taught you not to work. And what that of christian are you now? Word of fake or what? What I have been taught all my life even in the Catholic Church is "faith without works is dead". You demonstrate what you have spoken by going to work. I have never attended Winners Chapel. As a fresh graduate searching for employment, I read In Oyedopo's book that if you looking for a job, dress up after declaring that you have a job and leave the house. That you should not be declaring that you have a job while sitting in the house by 8am. Then, pick any job to show that you are not lazy and from there you will be rising. I did exactly what the book says, I have sold on the streets of Lagos . I carried cartons of the product I was marketing to dealers in Idumota . I have taught in a secondary School, worked as a journalist, worked in a bank and now back as an editor. ![]() I am still plotting another move. So, I don't know the type of preachers you have run into but the ones i associate with emphasis hard work as well as depending on God's grace. I remember a message by Pastor Chris on TV. Cant remember the title or TV station. I stumbled on it. He said if you are of working age, and you not working, you should stop eating. He suggested various age ranges and said those from 27 (hope i am correct. It's years when iheard the message) should stop eating in the house if they are not working. They should go out and work even if it is menial work. This is the same thing Paul said. "he who refuses to work should not eat' |
fyneguy: No mind me bros. I am a journalist so reading between na easy job for me. Some of these guys are damn so dumb . Forgive my first use of foul language here. I am of the posters who requested that kenyan28 undergo more tests. All of them agreed but are spitting rubbish. I believe that she is healed and nobody can take it from here. I have witnessed and heard of testimonies of healing from HIV. The testimonies are not from Christ Embassy. I have a pastor friend who was invited by a medical doctor to pray for an AIDs patient. The patient was at a critical stage coughing thru out. The pastor just gave her several messages on faith, I presume from Oyedepo and others. Within a week, faith welled up in her. She walked out of the hospital healed. The young lady then was working for the Caterers at Mobil House on lekki epe expressway. I listened to her testimony in church. So before CEC made healing school popular, some brethren have been giving sick peeps tapes on healing and they were been healed. These doubting guys are like the priests and Jews at the foot of the cross telling our lord come down and we will believe. They wouldn't have believed if He stepped down from the cross. I have seen diverse healings happening while ab teaching from the bible is going on. I tire oh . Honestly if Kenyan comes to Nigeria with her medical reports, these guys will not believe. Abeg, Go on and enjoy your health. Whether they believe or not, the fact is that you are healed and that settles it. Kenyan28, here is my contact. ukotmi@gmail.com . send me your wedding iv oh ![]() |
Double N:my friend, collect the offering basket and pass it to the next person. If you dont have offering money, you dont have. will you then steal to give? It happened one thing that the offering bag was passed to me, I passed it on to the next peep. |
Kenyan 28:@Kenyan 28 The above quote was made by drmightie. Are quoting him? I notice that when you quote people, you do not take time to ensure that their quotes are highlighted just as the one above. However, there is a difference in your style of writing and that of drmightie. What I have seen on nland is that most Christians posting here are full of unbelief. You have been consistent in your testimony just like that blind healed in the bible. He said, "whether he is a sinner or not I do not know but what I know is this. I was blind but now I see." Keep on enjoying your health, while skeptics are busy doubting. |
graphical2: And I am planning to resume there after been sacked in my former company. . What do I do now? I have attended the interview and is waiting for their letter |
