If you truly believe in One Nigeria as most of you espouse, you should NOT care about another Nigerian saying that Lagos is no man's land. After all, you are all citizens of the same country and the right of citizenship allows a citizen to live in any part of the country that he or she chooses to and can work or vie for any office as long as he or she resides in that community for at least a year or more. That's by the way...not my main reason for responding to your comment. Let's assume for the sake of argument that, some Igbos are saying that Lagos is no man's land, but have you ever asked yourself, "Who runs Lagos State?' "When an Igbo man wants to buy a property (land) in Lagos, who does he buy it from?" When an Igbo man needs a license to establish a business or build on his land, who does he go to either to get a license to open up his business or get a Certificate of Occupancy for his land? Has an Igbo man ever vied for the governorship or deputy of Lagos State? Has an Igbo man ever become the speaker, majority leader, or chief whip of the Lagos State House of Assembly? If the answers to the above questions are negative, why then does it matter what some Igbos might say about Lagos being a no man's land which obviously is NOT supported by any discernable evidence? In my opinion, some people especially your politicians use that during your elections as a means to divide and conquer in order to maintain their grip on power. I guarantee you that now that the fraudulent elections are over, that ethnic sentiment and bigotry would momentarily disappear until another election comes up. As for me, I never believed that Nigeria is one and would ever be. So, it's best that we go our separate ways! |

Congratulations to Mr. Adewale Alao! I am glad to hear encouraging stories that totally dispel and shatter the stereotype of an ethnic group such as the Igbos. I know without a doubt that opportunities abound in every nook and cranny of the failed country, Nigeria. The only thing an individual needs to have is an open mind, foresight, and the ability to work hard. That's actually the difference between the Igbos and other ethnic nationalities in Nigeria. If this man had hearkened to the voices of his friends and relatives who were very narrow-minded and beclouded by their ethnic bigotry and stereotypes, he would probably be j[b]obless and struggling[/b] just like so many other jobless college graduates. But look at him now, he's a very successful and thriving entrepreneur contributing to the development of impressionable young minds. I say kudos to Mr. Alao and I hope this serves as a lesson to others who out of fear, bigotry, and ignorance have refused to apply themselves and take a chance. |

The same government had no problem extraditing his co-defendant and fellow fraudster, Hush Puppy, to the US because he is a Yoruba man from the south. And yet again your same "One Nigerian" government just extradited another fraudster because she's an Igbo woman from the south. So, what does that tell you? If nothing else, it shows that the Fulanis do NOT see southerners as owners or stakeholders in Nigeria. Nigeria belongs to the Fulanis and to them alone. Where in the world is Tiefnubu? The news making the rounds is that he's off to either France or UK for medical attention. The question then becomes, why should he leave for UK or France for medical attention when he has Lagos, the state, his supporters and water carriers claim he built? If he built Lagos like they are quick to insinuate, one wonders why he could NOT build a hospital that is well-equipped and decent enough to take care of his medical needs and that of Lagosians. These mindless thugs tout him as their messiah and savior, yet there are NO hospitals well-equipped in their utopia, Lagos, to take care of their medical needs. I guess, Tiefnubu built Lagos but he completely forgot to provide well-equipped hospitals to cater to the medical needs of Lagosians while he and his family have access to world-class medical facilities around the world. |

I am sorry for the travails of Mr. Mozie but we the IPOB warned them. When we called for sit-at-home for all Biafrans, they rallied against it and kept on doing their thing. But when it came to the FRAUD called the election, they SHUT down the market so that their members would go and get their PVC. And those who could NOT show their PVC were banned from entering the market. Even after they obtained their PVC we advised them NOT to go out and VOTE in order NOT to validate Nigeria. Did they listen? Heck NO! My question now is, they got their PVC and VOTED in the FRAUDULENT election, and then what happened? These folks believe in One Nigeria even when we were telling the fools that Nigeria is NOT for them. We told them that they would be sorely disappointed because we know Nigeria more than they do. But guess what? They played the proverbial ostrich with their heads buried in the sand. My prayer is that as long as they keep acting stupid and foolish, may they continue to be victims of FRAUD, called Nigeria. |

Is anyone really surprised at the turn of events? Absolutely NOT unless you're being disingenuous. Most reasonable people knew that the lull in the attacks during the campaign period for your fraudulent election was a result of the terrorist sponsors telling their foot soldiers to cease all murderous attacks until the elections are over. And now that the FRAUD is over, the attacks had started again.
