Please this vow he broke does it condemn him in the sight of God or man? You judged him as being disobedient, so you have become his judge. Please, I want to ask: What is a sin in a minister of God getting married and having sex with his own wife? This is what some people have been insinuating. If the man left the Catholic Church so that he can marry, IT IS ABSOLUTELY BIBLICAL. He needs experience as a married man to serve God and minister to others. Please read 1st Timothy 3:1-5. Verse 5 specifically rhetorically asks "if a man knows not how to rule his own house, how can he take care of the Church of God?"

Sin is sin no matter which popular or unknown 'man of God' or which denomination is involved. "A sinner is not a Christian and a Christian is not a sinner". BTW, how do you know that people did not talk in those instances? Maybe you have not been following events. Please stop defending denomination and face Christ, the only Saviour. He has his reasons though, but i dont think its because of his charismatic nature. The catholic church has certain leverages for priests and even lay faithfuls to excercise their gifts within the confines of the catholic church. Infact, there are a lot of charismatic priests.

Some people don't seem to get it. There is a world of difference between Christianity and religion. I don't know his mind. What if he is tired of religion and decides to embrace true Christianity?

Mary is a saint. Don't be naive.

There are living saints and there are departed saints. It is only the living saints that can pray for anybody (though not the dead). Departed saints (those now in heaven) do not have any business praying for or answering anybody's prayers. Leave Mary alone. She has lived her own life and gone to glory. Your best bet is to become a living saint by repenting of all your sins and accepting Christ into your heart as your personal Lord and Saviour. Then you live right by His grace, follow and serve Him till the end. Thus you will see Mary and other departed saints in heaven at the end of your life. Priesthood is a life decision and priest are priests for life therefore, we may have to wait for official confirmation of his resignation.
If indeed he has resigned, history is replete with such priest and their reasons for resignation are always linked to satisfaction of "SELF" and not "CHRIST".

And who told you the man has been serving Christ before now? There is a clear distinction between serving Christ and serving an institution or a denomination.

It doesn't matter how long he has been in the system. Let's assume he has now discovered that he has been in error all these while? I repeat, there are no errors in the Bible. I used to think like you over some of these seemingly contradictory verses of the Bible. Now I know better. That does not also mean I have understood everything. But I think having a positive attitude will help one to understand better. The hostile attitude of already judging the Bible as erroneous or fault -finding will make you blind to the truth. But most importantly, you need to be born again so that your mind will be purged of carnality. The Bible says that the natural man (the unregenerated) cannot receive the things of the Spirit because they are foolishness unto him neither can he know ie understand them because they are spiritually discerned (1st Corinthians 2:14). If you have an open mind, then we can go ahead.

MuttleyLaff, I also want you to explain why Jesus called his father My God instead of My father. Since both of them are gods. I didn't mention this point earlier else you would have twisted it with you initial post to come up with "My father, My father....." instead of "My god, my god...."

The Father is God. The Son is equally God. The Holy Spirit is equally God - but that does not imply three Gods. This is a theological term called Trinity. The Father Himself called the Son "God" (Hebrews 1:. While on earth, Christ was fully man and had to subordinate and subject Himself to the authority of the Father. (Philippians 2:5-. He did so willingly and for a purpose. One is that since He, as our Perfect Example did so, we who are inferior mortals should be humble and subject ourselves to the overriding will of God in all things. Thanks.

Please there are NO ERRORS in the Bible. It is simply that some of us do not understand some parts at least for now. But all you need to see God after your death is to be born again. God will not judge you for not understanding everything in the Scriptures. Thanks.
