“I think that hacking a website for profit is immoral,” Zhengyang said. He enjoys finding security risks on websites and find ways to fix it. “I will not use my talents for anything illegal,” Zhengyang told his listeners. Trusting individuals' judgement of morality on the internet will cause more harm than good. There should be strict international laws that regulates internet activities. I admire the guy. If i had his talents I would hack CBN and control our executives' expenditures. |

The National Association of Nigerian Traders (NANTS) on Thursday declared that the Ghanaian Government would regret sacking its members from Ghana markets. The President of the association, Mr Ken Ukoha, stated this in Abuja in an interview with newsmen. Ukoha said Ghana would “cry had I known’’ in the long run for its hostilities towards Nigerian traders in Ghana. He recalled that the Ghanaian Trade Ministry had last week directed non-natives to vacate all markets in the country or face the wrath of the law. He said that the Ghana Union of Traders Associations (GUTA) had persistently mounted pressure on the authorities to eject non-Ghanaians from markets. Ukoha said that the authority, in its directive, gave a 30-day ultimatum to all non-Ghanaians in retail trading to vacate all the markets in the country. He added that the Ghanaian Trade Ministry had earlier raised the minimum capital for foreigners to do business in the country from 300,000 U.S. dollars to 1 million U.S. dollars in cash or goods. He said all the measures were targeted at Nigerian traders in Ghana. Ukoha, however, said that though the development would create economic turbulence for the Nigerian traders, the impact would only be felt for a short time. He stated that “the business activities of Nigerian traders benefits Ghanaians too’’ in spite of whatever the Ghanaians claim. The president said that the repatriation of Nigerian petty traders from Ghana would have more negative economic impact on Ghana itself than it would on Nigeria. The Ghanaian economy will feel it because the exit of Nigerians from that economy will affect their revenue generation. The reason being that most of the taxes collected are Nigerian bound revenue. What mini business operators are doing in Ghana is to redistribute wealth in Ghana; with their expatriation, their funds will be redirected to Nigeria. I know that Ghana will `cry had I known’ in the long run. “There are more than two million Nigerian traders in Ghana and if they are repatriated we will welcome them home,’’ he said. According to him, the affected Nigerian traders were small entrepreneurs that would not find it too difficult to relocate to either Nigeria or any other West African country to continue their business. He said that the implication of the Ghanaian decision would be more on ECOWAS as a whole because it would threaten the regional integration process. “Ghana needs to consider the implication of their decision on the future of ECOWAS as an entity and how the regional integration process will be affected,’’ he said. source: http://dailyindependentnig.com/2014/09/association-says-ghana-will-regret-sacking-nigerian-traders-markets/ |

All lies are lie, but some lies are bigger than others. You all will agree with me that there are lies that have much force in the lives of people everywhere. I will highlight just three of such lies. Don't ask me the source; but if you insist on seeing the source i can give you my address. here we go: 1) EVOLUTION: The teaching of evolution is probably the biggest lie that have imparted the whole world. But my concern is that this teaching is spread by the class of people that think they are educated. think of it, as intelligent as you and I are, we've not been able to replicate ourselves, even with the highest sophisticated technology, how much more saying that we evolved through an unintelligent process that has never reoccurred since civilization started (because there is no obvious proof of that). We have not seen any animal evolve from one kind to another; we have not seen cross breeding between two kinds of plants, they all take place within a kind. come to think of it, 'chance' brought about "man", "woman" and even emotions such as love. mehn this is absurd. No wonder people behave like beasts 'cos they think they evolved from beast. 2) TRINITY: You are surprised right? Well come to think of it; you, your father, and your house help are exactly the same, no difference. can that be possible? The night before he was killed, Jesus fervently prayed that if it is possible, let the cup pass by, but he acknowledged that it should be according to the will of his father(Luke 22:42). Of course his request was not granted. Do you remember when he was asked when the kingdom will come, and he replied that only the father knew? The result of the teaching of trinity is that people do not see God as a real person, they see him as a set of three mysterious gods or deities, so God does not have much force on people as a result. Read Isaiah 42:8 if you like. 2) MONEY IS THE ANSWER: Is there anybody here that wouldn't like to be rich? The truth is that our journey from birth to death is characterized by the struggle to fulfill our material need. But the fact is that being rich is relatively not better than being poor. Have you seen individuals living longer than the rest because they are wealthy? Expensive foods do not necessarily make you healthier. Too much money can neither make you healthier nor happier. These three ideas made the world what it is today. Humans act as if they are not accountable to any supreme being; were they even created? Most people on earth claim to be Christians, but they are not motivated to worship a deity that has no identity; the more reason why there is increase in lawlessness. Karl Marx's economic determinism defines all individuals and institutions in existence; No wonder there is hatred everywhere. |
Archeology has always provided history with information vital for the reconstruction of the past. but Nigeria assert that history is useless thus removing it from the curriculum. This is the biggest mistake this generation has made so far. |

*asks Jonathan to Hand over Sheriff, others to ICC for prosecution By Levinus Nwabughiogu ABUJA–Following the revelations of alleged Boko Haram sect sponsors by the Australian negotiator, Mr. Stephen Davies, the All Progressive Congress, APC, yesterday declared that it has been vindicated. The party also stated that the development has now revealed that members of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and political allies of President Goodluck Jonathan are the true sponsors of the Sect. To substantiate its claim, the party played a newsreel footage of a conversation between Davies and a broadcaster from Arise Television in London where the former mentioned the alleged sponsors. It particularly called the President to handover the former governor of Borno State, Senator Ali Modu Sheriff whose name was mentioned to the International Court of Justice, ICC, for immediate prosecution. Addressing a press conference in Abuja, the national chairman of the party, Mr. John Oyegun said that PDP has politicized Boko Haram. He said: “Dr. Stephen Davis, a man hired by the President Jonathan-led Federal Government to negotiate with Boko Haram for the release of the Chibok girls decided to speak out, believing the best way to tackle the insurgency is to expose the sponsors. And who are they? On international television last Thursday, and as you have just seen and heard, he named former Borno Governor Ali Modu Sheriff and a former Army Chief, Gen. Azubuike Ihejirika, as the sponsors of Boko Haram. “The truth is finally out. We have been vindicated. We have no hand in the Boko Haram insurgency. The raison d’etre of our party is the well-being and security of Nigerians “The sponsors of Boko Haram are within the PDP and the Presidency. They are known friends of President Jonathan. He knows them and they know him. “The man who exposed these Boko Haram sponsors is a Jonathan-appointed Negotiator. He has no axe to grind, neither does he have any motive to shield the APC or portray the PDP/Presidency in bad light. In fact, if he had any sympathy at all, it is for the man who hired him, President Jonathan. “We have said it all along. Boko Haram was politicized purely for one reason, and one reason only: To be used as a trump card for President Jonathan to win another term. For that strategy to work, the APC, which they see as the only stumbling block to the PDP’s victory in 2015, must be maligned and labeled. Gullible, duplicitous and self-serving politicians like Femi Fani-Kayode swallowed the bait, hook, line and sinker, and started parroting the glaring lies. PDP spokesman Olisa Metuh, an obvious pawn on the chess board, followed suit, labelling a party that comprises Nigerians of all ethnic and religious hue a supporter of APC and Islamic party. Now he is stewing in his own juice. “Now that the cat has been let out of the bag and the real sponsors of Boko Haram have been exposed, we hope President Jonathan will summon the courage to do the right thing: Hand over the identified Boko Haram sponsors to the International Criminal Court (ICC) for investigation and prosecution. “There is no doubt that Boko Haram has committed crimes against humanity in its scorched-earth campaign against unharmed citizens, and the most appropriate body to investigate and try the sect’s sponsors is the ICC. “According to Article 17 of the Rome Statute that set up the ICC, and to which Nigeria is signatory, the ICC is a court of last resort, expected to exercise its jurisdiction only if states themselves are unwilling or unable genuinely to investigate and prosecute international crimes.” According to Oyegun, President Jonathan should not feign ignorance of Sheriff’s involvement in the Boko Haram’s activities. “President Jonathan cannot pretend not to know the alleged role that Ali Modu Sheriff has played in the establishment and growth of Boko Haram, yet he never allowed the man to even be questioned by any of the security agencies under his control. All through his time with our Party, every time they accused us of sponsoring Boko Haram, on the basis of his presence, we challenged them if they had evidence to arrest any of our members who is suspected to be a sponsor, they never did. They dared not, because Sheriff was their agent. Even if he had remained in the APC after we democratically encouraged him to go, they would still not have arrested him,” he said. Reminding the president that as the Commander-in- Chief, “the buck stops on his desk,” Oyegun recalled attempts by the PDP to cover up its involvement, assuring Nigerians that now the truth had finally prevailed, APC would ensure that it would not be swept under the carpet. “In a rare moment of truth, a top official of the Jonathan Administration, no less a personality than the former National Security Adviser (NSA), Gen. Andrew Owoye Azazi, situated the Boko Haram problem within the PDP. Shortly thereafter he was fired, and he later died in controversial circumstances. Still we waited. “They distorted and misrepresented the statements made by our leader, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari, to try to convince the world that he was indeed the main sponsor of Boko Haram. They continued to echo the same slander about Gen. Buhari that was started by Presidential Spokesman Reuben Abati in 2011, and for which he and his cohorts eventually begged to settle out of court and to apologize to the General. Still we waited. “Nigerians can rest assured that the APC will not allow this issue to be swept under the carpet,” Oyegun stated. source: http://www.vanguardngr.com/2014/09/boko-haram-sponsorship-weve-vindicated-apc/? |
The British Deputy High Commissioner to Nigeria, Ambassador Peter Carter Leslie, slumped and died Tuesday from a possible heart attack on arrival at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos. The deceased who arrived Lagos on United Airlines Flight UA143 at 3.50 pm local time slumped in the avio-bridge while he was alighting from the aircraft. THISDAY gathered that officials from British High Commission and the Port Health Services tried to resuscitate him with oxygen but the effort failed. “We have an incident here. The UK Deputy High Commissioner who just arrived this afternoon on a United Airlines flight just slumped as he was coming out of the aircraft and died. He is being evaluated at this moment,” an informed source told THISDAY. Nobody knew the cause of the death or if he was sick onboard the aircraft, but a worker with one of the aviation handling companies disclosed that he saw the gathering of officers from the high commission who kept mum and looked solemn, before he learnt about the tragic incident. THISDAY learnt that as the deceased was leaving the aircraft, he started gasping for breath and needed oxygen which was brought to resuscitate him but failed to recover. Efforts to get the confirmation of the British High Commission in Lagos and Abuja, as well as the Minister of Foreign Affairs, proved unsuccessful yesterday, as calls to the commission and the ministry were unanswered. However, a letter written by the Federal Ministry of Health Port Health Services, which was signed by Doctors E.E. Ukatu and Abdullai, and was made available to THISDAY by airport sources, stated: “The Port Health Services was called today (2/9/14) by a FAAN (Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria) medical nurse at about 4.07 pm from the D arrival screening point to see a passenger (the deceased) said to have arrived onboard a United Airlines flight from Houston, Texas. “It was reported that after disembarking, the passenger was observed to be clutching his chest and asking for help. “In the course of examination, he was asked if he was Asthmatic, and he said ‘MAY BE’. "On examination, he was found to be pale, in respiratory distress (gasping for breath), his pulse was rapid and thready. Based on his response to the question if he was asthmatic, a Ventolin inhaler was administered, but was not effective, as the patient was restless and threw off the inhaler to the floor. He was placed on the left lateral position and at the same time, oxygen was called for. “Efforts were made to administer oxygen, while a second doctor was called and suction applied via a suction machine to clear the airway. “Subsequently, the patient suffered a cardio-pulmonary arrest; the radial and carotid pulses were no longer palpable and patient was observed to be cyanosed. Attempts at resuscitation proved abortive. Pupils were fixed and dilated and patient was certified dead at 4.26 pm.” source: http://www.thisdaylive.com/articles/uk-deputy-high-commissioner-slumps-dies-at-lagos-airport/188078/?
