emerged01:the judgement is death. are you dumb? the wages of sin is death, say the bible |
Darkness? I don't see how darkness can exist amidst fire! Hell fire is the greatest religious illusion of our common era. It's neither scriptural, logical, nor scientific. |

If you meet a guy's kitchen like that do him a favor by reporting him to the police so that they can ascertain if it's meta problem, spiritual problem, or otherwise; so that they they know if it is general hospital, psychiatric hospital, prayer house or prison yard that is suitable for him, or even quarantine. By so doing you might be saving many lives including yours from epidemic. Make sure you don't come back because you have done your duty as a god-fearing good citizen. It's my opinion. |

DRAMA IN THE LECTURE HALL TODAY (ED 411) - Alvan Ikoku Federal College of Education, Owerri A lecturer handling a group that comprises of the department of History, English language and Geography in Ed 411 made a drama that has brought him to lime light today. It started few minutes to the end of his lecture with the group when he called the names of two students – one boy and one other girl. The boy was outside due to space while the girl stood up. The most annoying thing was that the guy came in from outside to answer a rather surprising call from the lecturer. Standing next to the girl, the lecturer disclosed that the guy copied from the girl in the previous exam holding the both answer scripts up. He then concluded that both of them should start preparing for carry over. Ironically the day’s lecture was on “punishment” were the Dr. of Psychology had just explained three types of punishments namely: proper, doubtful and undesirable punishments. After his verdict the students unanimously chanted “undesirable punishment….” (It is an extreme form of unjust punishment that does not necessarily result in any positive behavior). On a more serious note; was the lecturer right? If you are the girl that was copied from what would you do? If you happen to be the boy that was disgraced what will you do? https://www.facebook.com/AlvanStudents |

goofyone:It's senior secondary school. Actually am in interested in any theory that highlights teaching methodology |
goofyone:teaching history As for options, there are many theories of history, but as for "teaching of history", I've not found any |
I'm writing on "the problems and prospects of teaching history..." At this point in my chapter two am confused in choosing which theory to discuss. Somebody please help. |
juicyjoint:I don't blame them. Is it not the man that will be responsible for everything, including family in laws? JUMP into marriage at your own risk |
marriage na by force? It's not a big achievement. One has to be matured enough (financially, morally etc) to contemplate marriage. Here in Africa we see marriage as a children producing contract. So if you don't have the financial strength and patience to raise children, if you do not have a big heart to contain the excesses of women called wives, if you are not yet ready to scarifies some of your hobbies, then remain single. |
Take note!!! in the whole of Nigeria, Abia is least interested in who emerges the president. They are interested who becomes their representatives and governor. Abians are not interested in your party affiliation as long as you have nothing to do with T.A. Orji. Protest is still at genesis, the whole state will tear down if T.A. is not removed from the list as the winner |
emiye:Another wrong comparison. Tinubu was not under OBJ, remember that ACN has always been opposition to PDP and Lagos state can conveniently exist as a country of its own, thus making Tinubu powerful. In contrast, Amechi was elected nd remained in PDP and could have been decisively dealt with by OBJ in one way or the other. I'm sure you remember the job of EFCC under him |
emiye:Dont be deceived, the oppossition utilized the opportunity and loophole created by Jonathan's leniency. Do you think Amechi would have the same thing he is today under obj? |
Abagworo:Unfortunately Yar'Adua didn't have the time to prove himself. Every politician tend to perform well at the early part of his administration, like Obiano of Anambra is doing now, like GEJ did that made 2011 a walk over for him, the same way GMB will do if he eventually wins. Comparing OBJ with GEJ makes no sense. I don't want to talk much about int'l dynamics and other internal conditions that influenced the two administrations, OBJ would have taken us back two folds than jonah did if he happened to rule from 2011 till now. but bear it in mind that GEJ's leniency is what caused his fall. International community is presently more aggressive than it was in the 19th century, but subtly. I can't talk much about that on NL |
Lemon12:I think viju is for kids nd election for adults. NL is for adults so check the nearest primary school for your fellow kids |
The truth is that GEJ's administration is the best so far in terms of 'civilian' rule; in terms of upholding democratic principle, rule of law, guaranteeing the fundamental human rights, freedom of the press and the judiciary, freedom of speech among others. That is what actually gave rise to the 1st real opposition party in the country since 1999 and which is why he may not scale through in tomorrow's pole. (may posterity remember him) The only reason why i want him to pass is so that he will conduct next year's census and we will know the real and actual population of Nigeria. But as far as I'm concerned, neither GEJ nor GMB is the ideal candidate. |
No body is replying? |
Please Nairalanders recommend softwares that are suitable for teaching Nigerian students at the primary level, especially English, maths and computer. Free softwares will be ideal or those that can be bought in the market. |
HAS ANYONE USED THIS TABLET? WHAT IS IT LIKE? IS IT RELIABLE OR IS IT LIKE NAMELESS CHINA PRODUCT? |
when it comes to job vacancies, Owerri is never mentioned. Does it mean there are no jobs in Owerri other than "sales girl wanted"? Please post any vacancy in Owerri here so that we can help each other. Teaching is welcomed too. Please GNLD agents stay away from this thread. |

emmatok:Maybe you've forgotten Iyayi too soon |
emmatok:Assuming any of the bullets hit him (God 4bid) you and I would be proving whether he committed any crime or not; and it would have ended in the same apology. Maybe you need to ask those that lived in PH during the militancy era to educate you on how they use to comport themselves |
manny4life:You guys should stop this your "civilized world" rubbish comparisons, soon one of you will tell us that civilized ppl dnt defecate. |
Enesi13:I think your comment is second to the worst i have read on this post. I don't type much, but try what the prof. did and see whether you will be alive to narrate your story. To those of you trying to justify prof's action, please sell your pride and buy common sense. |
What about wasting our time, energy, data talking about GEJ, Buhari, APC, PDP, Man U, Chelsea, celebrities etc.? What about wasting nairaland front page on "Tonto takes a new selfie"? What about marriages failing because the husband won't watching chelsea play? A lot of nonsense are done by people. Some times i wonder whether people know what they want. |
