Few weeks ago, I received messages from 2 Loan company threatening me to tell my friend to come and pay his loan or they arrest me. He submitted my number as guarantor without my consent. I called him to ask why. He said he was struggling to pay for his school fees. He is currently doing his Masters at UI.

To my dismay, Last Week, I got additional messages from 5 different Loan companies. My phone is clogged with many warning/threat messages from Loan companies. One of them even gave me 2 days before they come to my house. I don’t know how they got my address.
I went to my friend’s house dragged him. Asked him to follow me to a nearby police station. He wants to ruin my life. He became sober. He started confessing. He even told me he is tired of life, he wants to commit suicide. Anxiously, I asked “What do you do with all these cash?” He claimed he spent it on his Masters program.

It was hard to believe, I kept pressing, he later confessed he actually spent the money on dates and hook-ups. Whenever he need to fck, he will just go online order for girls and look for a loan company and apply. He get the cash immediately. He also sponsored one of his girlfriends birthday by getting soko instant loan.

The final shocker of my life came when he mistakenly said “As I am now, 40 Loan companies are after my life. I am considering suicide sef”. It was as if somebody slapped me. I first thought he was joking. I asked “Are loan companies in Nigeria even up to 40?”. He answered “they are more than 300 sef”. Imagine, these mdfckin Loan companies where just disbursing cash to this idiat.
The mdfckin didn’t know why I was looking dejected. He thought I was sad for him, he didn’t know I was scare of all the 40 Loan companies coming to threatening me later.

I am really in soup. How do I protect myself from these Loan Companies.

I'm a guy in my early twenties. I was tempted to use a false name during my NIMC registration and for that am now in deep water.
I changed my surname from an Igbo name to a Yoruba name. I also changed my farthers name to a Yoruba name just to fake my identity as a Yoruba guy. Why?


Few years before I started my work as a machine operator in a nail making company, I had been working with a private security company as a security guard. I was working with two other colleagues at an MTN office. One of them was an Hausa guy the other was a Yoruba guy. The Hausa guy was working on a 24 hours basis and I normally joined him only for night shift but the Yoruba guy normally worked in the morning as my reliever. Along the line, I noticed some irregularities in our work: the Yoruba guy, after his morning duty, would come back late in the night with touts and harlots and would spend the night in the MTN office and that's how they had been doing before I started work there. Seing the mess, I warned the guy that I wouldn't tolerate his actions and to stall his actions, I began to lie just at the entrance of the main building every night.


Out of frustration, however, the guy came after I left and broke the glass door of the main building to implicate me. He reported me thereafter and I was called to explain what happened to the broken glass door.


When I got there and saw what happened, I use the opportunity to explain all that had been happening in the night. So the panel that called me appreciated my action and fired my two colleagues: the Yoruba guy and the aboki.


But thereafter, the director called me aside, gave me money in appreciation but also warned me not to continue my work there because the Yoruba guy that normally brought touts with him to mess up the venue every night and all his friends are cultists.

It was as a result of this and other threats that I left the security company entirely. When I started work with another security company I changed my name to a Yoruba name for protection without telling the company my real identity as an Igbo guy.


The new company then posted me to a nail making company a little farther from my previous location. Two months later, after working as a security man in the nail company, I made arrangements with the Accountant of the firm and he decided to help me to join the factory workers as a casual staff. First he asked me to go to my security company and tender my resignation. while I was away to do this, the Accountant just picked my wrong name and sent it to the company's headquarters. When I came back I didn't bother to tell anyone am an igbo guy. I was also made a member of the company's staff cooperative society. The second year I was asked to bring my guarantor because they want to make me full staff. It was then that I decided to tell them that am an Igbo guy. They were very sad because they took me for a Yoruba guy because I was so fluent and eloquent in the language. As I was trying to let them know the security situation that led to my action, they didn't want to believe me.

In the meantime, I foolishly went ahead to NIMC office and registered the wrong name there so that I would quickly open an account with it and get my money out of the cooperative society.

But the accountant said I shouldn't use the
wrong NIMC slip . So, I went to register for PVC, I then opened an account with a bank. To correct the error in my name, I got a court affidavit and a newspaper publication for that.

Now, the crux of the matter is this: I need to change the wrong name that I registered at NIMC. I have been struggling with this for a long time but their supervisor that they refaired me to said I should go to Abuja to sort it out. Please what do I do?

You cost two souls the job they had before you join their company because you wanted to be the good person… you are not a straight forward person and your mind is also evil. You deserve all these things coming your way and I pray it last long.

I had a misunderstanding with some motor park agberos and they gang up to beat me up.

Nobody cared to try and save me from them.

After I managed to escape, some people started blaming the agberos for "fighting with me".

I was wondering how people could call that "fighting" when I was not fighting them, but they were the ones who assaulted and beat me up.

Prior to this, a lady went to fight with one boy. She was even the one who was beating the boy while the boy was trying to cover herself from the blows.


Before you know it, many men around joined to beat up the boy. They accused the boy of beating the lady even when it was clear the lady was the one who beat the boy while he was covering himself and trying to escape.


What I observe is that even if it is a female who is assaulting a male, people tend to say it is the male who is the culprit and they'll be supporting the lady.

If a male is being assaulted by another male or males, people would say they are fighting, so that they won't feel the need to save the victim from his tormentors.

All these is done because men don't want to help a fellow man.

A cousin of mine recently started his life at the University of Ibadan. Students are not allowed on campus, so I arranged to get him an apartment close to the university, in case of any new developments.

From the experience we have had, basic rent is not the issue, but total packages.

When the man I entrusted my cousin to could not land a nice place with the initial 200k, I had to drive down to Ibadan to see for myself.

I am a graduate of the University of Ibadan, and I can't remember houses being so expensive when I lived in the ancient city. So, I strolled in like a king expecting everything to fall in place at my arrival. But I was SHOCKED.

Even houses in terrible shapes were being put out at ridiculous amount of money. There was a room so small that my TV alone will take up the whole space, and yet total package was almost 300k.

There was even one apartment where a small room was added to turn an initial one room to a room self contain apartment. The toilet is so small, you will have to stand on the water closet if you hope to use the shower. And yet the agent wanted 250k.

Haba! I can't understand it. What is happening in Ibadan? Or is it everywhere?

Even during my time in Abuja, rents and total packages were not so far apart.

It’s really crazy now, it’s like an epidemic that has spread all over Ibadan… things use to be very cheap in Ibadan even if it is expensive in other parts of Nigeria… I could remember my father let out a 4 bedroom apartment with a well fenced compound, a well, and a shop for 150k total package in 2012. You’d only rent a house for 350k-450k If you live in Bodija or some other nice estates, Now things are not the same anymore because that same amount of money will hardly get you an apartment at Elebu of all places. Lol.

Thank you. I have heard of the Bravecto in the past and how deadly it could be on the ticks, but I totally forgot what it’s called, the fipronil? Haven’t heard about it but I know it would work magic too. The bravecto, how many pill do you think is ideal for a Samoyed dog because I heard that it has side effects on dogs if consume in large quantity. If you can refer me to any pet shop I can get the Bravecto from in Ibadan , I would be very grateful.
