End of the world, end of days, signs of the end times - all different ways of saying the same thing.

You're the one trying very hard to deconstruct an English language you probably have no degree in.

Lovely photos, but my fondness for art of this kind is merely aesthetic unfortunately.

I believe that for art to be truly appreciated by an art connoisseur, it has to go beyond aesthetics and delve into the history behind it.

I remember seeing a lovely Yoruba historical piece of art at a friend's place and when I asked her about it, all she could tell me was that she liked it just because it's beautiful.
I was able to mask my disappointment though, lol.

Personally, and this works for me - measure the magnitude of confrontation against the person who's confronting you, before making a decision to either ignore/avoid or match it in return.

There's a geographical reason why such disasters don't happen in Nigeria, or Africa in general.
It's purely geographical, nothing spiritual or end of the world nonsense. cheesy

Are there people who actually believe that an explosion of that magnitude had anything to do with fireworks?

Pending when a terrorist group claims responsibility for it (even if none ever does), authorities should be wise enough to treat it as an attack and nothing else.

UAE is not fond of extreme abuse to women and children please get your facts right. There is a relationship between a working country and discipline. Their leaders are not corrupt, that's how the country works. Your so called leaders that were disciplined with violence, see how they turned out.
Unstable is a relative term. The people that voted for him do not believe that he is unstable. You that lives in Nigeria with believes that He is unstable. And you think you are alright? Oh well. I 'off' my mic at this point.

1. You don't know where I live.
2. People who didn't vote for him believe he is unstable, so do leaders of many other countries.
3. Typing the bold text tells me you are clueless, and just typing for the sake of typing.

Just as we have Presidents on the African continent who probably were beaten as kids by their parents to "instill" discipline in them but turned out to become kleptomaniacs and their policies indicating black lives does not matter and who were repeatedly voted in by majority who were also beaten as kids and have been plagued by learned helplessness (psychology).

Our outcomes as adults is heavily influenced by our childhood experiences and this is evidence based.
My point exactly.

Beating a child may not make him/her a well-rounded adult, same way, not beating a child may also not make him/her a well-rounded adult.

There's no manual.

Unstable is a relative term. I'm sure people close to you may say you are unstable as well. An unstable billionaire that became the president of the most powerful country in the world voted in by citizens of a country that works should be looked up to mehn.
Being unstable is not a relative term, I dont know who taught you that. When a person is unstable, a large number of people can attest to it, not just a small biased group.

Half the world (that's a whole lot of people) believe the billionaire president is unstable and anyone voting/supporting him must be equally unstable.
This is nothing compared to those few people close to you who may say you are unstable.

Point again being, there's no correlation between a working country and the form of discipline children receive in that country.

UAE & most other Arabic countries are fond of extreme forms of abuse and violence on children/women, yet compared to Nigeria, these are countries that work.

Right is relative. Some people believe physically hitting their children will make them become better adults while some don't subscribe to it.

The question is, with today's Nigeria has the beating of young ones translated to Nigerian adults who are more industrious, less likely to commit nor rationalize wrong doings , translated to larger number of people who are disciplined in private lives and public offices?

Has the beatings many in Nigeria received as kids helped them become better persons in life than Caucasian kids who were not beaten by their parents?
Well there's a Caucasian man who is president of a Caucasian country in the western hemisphere who was never beaten as a kid, yet he's probably the most unstable megalomaniac in the history of the white house who was voted for by millions of other unstable psychotics who were never beaten as children.

Point being, there's absolutely no correlation between the form of discipline a person receives as a child and what they turn out to be as an adult.
This point goes to you too @ mcdokwe.

Your girlfriend deserves everything she got for laying her hand on a defenceless 14yr old girl. Maybe in her next relationship, she will learn to keep those hands to herself to avoid a man putting his hands on her.

if the rest of the world takes a stand for the US to denuclearize and stop producing these weapons then its possible. The US are the only country known to have used these weapons against humanity and still went ahead to wronfully accused and invade an innocent nation for being in a possession of such weapons.

I watched how the US ravaged Iraq, exploited their resources and left that country in ruins while bitter tears pour down from the eyes of its citezens and the world did nothing. The US are only using the nukes to intimidate weaker nation and feel threatened when they see these weapons with other Nations.

I was actually expecting the US to lunched an all out invasion to disarmed North korea for having and displaying nukes, but their refusal to move their forces there convinced me more of how much more of a coward they really are.
North Korea, Russia, and Iran are not a walk in the park unlike a country like South Africa that willingly dismantled their nuclear arsenal at the behest of the US.

NK for instance has rockets that can reach Hawaii and they are developing others that will be able to reach mainland US, so the US is very careful not to get into any open confrontation with them.

To be honest, the idea of countries having nuclear weapons is unsettling but I like that some of these nations are able to stand up to the US and not cower into disarming their weapons while big brother continues keeping theirs. There's absolutely no sense in it.

Yes I have explored them on one of those hookup thingies, I was merely curious and just wanted to see what it was all about. Just the massage bit though, we didn't have a happy ending but it was an option. grin
I have to admit that some of the chics who are into this service look okay in the beauty and ass department so I perfectly understand why their business thrives. For males too, as I suspect is the case with the OP, they usually look really attractive, hence they are not short of customers (married older women mostly).

And there's no way they are all single, most of them are definitely in relationships or even married. So like I noted earlier, the only issue I see here is the dishonesty. Or perhaps he should have been more careful and not let his wife find out he does more than just offer massages cheesy

Lolgrin, in my head I am rephrasing this as retired prostitutes (both male & female) not current ones who are still active in service and doing happy hours or TGIF for clients.

One of my colleagues told me about a spa/massage place like this where a female masseuse made him come twice during an overseas trip.

Didn't know Naija offered such services, but who am I kidding. If we have strip clubs I'm not shocked by massage places of this kind.
Just look at you, acting jewish
You don't even have to go to a specific place to get such services anymore, ladies are advertising it on hookup sites/apps and they'll go to you wherever you want. cheesy

Well I don't know what you mean by retired prostitutes. So you mean if a prostitute does not retire until 45, they don't deserve love eh? Where's your humanity? grin

It's just a job mehn and on this I stan feminism. No other group of people advocates for prostitution than feminists.

That's my point exactly . . .

Do the DNA test, but be ready to lose me, directly or indirectly. I cannot carry pregnancy for a man and risk the dangers of delivery room, only to have him question my integrity.

But of course, that's just me . . . I'm not going to lie about paternity. If the child is not yours you will know.
I'm pretty sure that any husband who knows his wife will react in the way you just described, definitely will not tell her before doing the test. cheesy

Let him leave an allowance behind.
She will sit up once she sees that the money can't cover her needs.
Do it about twice before her third trimester and call her sibling to come stay with her. Monitor things from a distance.
Ask her to chip in money for baby things.
She will sit up.
Barring the traveling part because he has a job to go to, I think you've got a realistic solution. Although I feel it's best to employ the tactic of choking her out with limited allowances when she is not pregnant.

Hopefully, life remains fair to him and he doesn't lose his source of income, suffer from withheld salaries, or worse, die in a car accident next week.

The only issue here is the dishonesty. Other than that, there's really nothing wrong with his profession.

If prostitution can have activists supporting and clamouring for it to be made legal, I wonder why a masseuse of this kind should be judged for his hustle.

Everyone deserves love, including prostitutes. grin

Does anyone actually have a real solution on how to make the wife more driven to earn money for herself, or is it a fool's errand and there's no hope anymore?
