Family / Re: How My Husband And I Have Kept Our Sex Life Exciting For 24 Years by Unnerve: 6:57pm On Aug 11, 2020
I was enjoying this beautiful interview till I got to the part where she says they opened up their marriage and each had sex with other people.

This was after she had talked about beliefs, religion, church... so my assumption is that she identifies as a Christian.
She then goes ahead to defend herself by stating that God wants couples to find creative ways to entertain themselves.

I'm a little confused, nay, I'm flabbergasted.

Is she trying to sell the narrative that God is in support of the adultery they both engaged in under the guise of being creative through open marriage?

Family / Re: Husband Of Risikat Azeez-Ayegbami: Why I Abandoned My Wife With Blue Eyes by Unnerve: 6:44pm On Aug 11, 2020
bukatyne:

The truth is between the husband's story and the wife's story:

My thoughts:
1. The husband saw the blue eyes in addition to other stuff and married her (I don't want to use love {not in the context I understand});
2. He believed the eyes was a freak of nature and while fine with a blue eyed wife, he probably didn't want all their kids to have blue eyes, hence his family put a lot of pressure on him to desert her.
3. The family did not support the marriage: if they did, they would feature in her story. especially when she was pregnant. It was her in-laws obligation to care for her first so it was easy to tell the husband to bail.
4. The husband alleges she was unfaithful, discontent and disrespectful. The discontent graduating to disrespect is easier to believe than adultery in her case.

My own is that if she was terrible to live with/stay married to when she was dirt poor, she must be terrible to be with now she has 'blown.'

Oga, disappear to where you came out from undecided

Well, regardless who might be on the side of truth, he shouldn't have discarded the children along with her.

Yea some women can be a lot, and a man may need his space..but the children should have nothing to do with this.

His explanations just seem 'one kind' to me.

A whole lot.

I hope she doesn't become another Jumoke sha.

Instead of this photoshoot, a trust fund for her kids to cater till university, a viable business and reasonable shelter (a two bedroom flat) is much more important and sustainable.
A business is being set up for her, I'm sure of it. Don't know about the trust fund thing though.

What concerns a village head with settling paternity? Is he King Solomon?

Maybe he should suggest dividing the child into two equal halves just like King Solo was about to do, since the village has not kissed civilization.

U are really a dog lover.

Mountain shepherd is different type of Caucasian shepherd. Let me look for a picture.
The first is a mountain shepherd while the second is a mastiff. They both has thick furs. That's why I said mountain shepherd is the closer u can get to a Tibetan mastiff.

Aussie can be kept by someone like me na cheesy
Na to learn how to train them.
Gaddem, just look at fur.
I lost all my photos of Terror, its a long time now plus an old phone, would have uploaded him. He looks very much like the first photo, although the mane on the dog in your photo is much fuller than his but the color similarity is a hit.

I don't understand how anyone can like a dog without a full coat, fur is life to me oo. grin It's the reason I don't really fancy other large breeds like Boerboels & Pitbulls. Once the fur is not in excess, the dog starts to look somehow to me.

Family / Re: Twitter User: “Marriage Is Not Beneficial To Nigerian Men". Do You Agree? by Unnerve: 1:23pm On Aug 11, 2020

Las las, women will lose out in this game.. they don't yet realise how much they've been deceived and hoodwinked into performing both gender roles under the guise of "modern feminism" - forced to work and be co-providers with men whilst also balancing their natural instinct to be nurturers and home builders.

As a result, the modern day woman is stressed out, overly sexualised, rude, masculine, unlovable and generally bitter - and of course why wouldn't they be when God gave them just one role to do in this world, yet they rebelled against nature to start competing with men lipsrsealed

Men are now realising there is little to no benefit for a man in marriage - marriage has always been for the provision of security and resources for women - and now that they are "strong and independent", it's more favourable to men to let them protect and provide for themselves. Enjoy your "liberation" ladies!
Lol, perfect sum up.
This liberation is indeed a relief for both sexes.. at the end of the day, it benefits us all.

My lady friends who identify as feminists know me very well, I always check them and that pisses them off to no end. cheesy You can't claim to be a feminist and still expect special considerations/behaviours from me when you should be able to hold your own.

I love people who walk their talk, not saying one thing because you want to belong and then living the opposite lifestyle... She will be checked!

The narrative on marriage is changing... THANKS TO FEMINISTS AND BABYMAMAS and SELF-MADE MEN.
Lol, but this is the part that gets confusing for me, because they should be happy their movement is finally paying off, yet it's still feminists that will try to shoot down the opinion of @bigbrutha simply because they don't like it.

There are quite a number of things we should be grateful to feminism for:

1. More men no longer want to be financially responsible for their women (feminists say they are independent and have jobs).

2. More men no longer want to kneel to propose to women (feminists say they are sexually liberated and can have as much sex as they want).

3. More men no longer want to put much effort into chasing women (feminists said they are woke enough to go for any man they desire).

4. More men no longer see the need to be protective of women (feminists said they are strong on their own).

5. More men are finally seeing marriage as quite unnecessary (feminists said marriage is not an achievement and is unnecessary).

6. More men are finally seeing the culture of brideprice and marriage lists as outrageous (feminists said they are not property).

So many things they ought to take credit for, so many things... I'm staring to believe we should all be feminists, Chimamanda was right.
She perfectly understands how stressful it can be for men to continue acting in archaic traditional ways.

U can't even get a pure bred wolf at that amount tongue

See the video I posted, look at that guy's compound. He can buy a big house with the money he used to import those beasts

If u want a Caucasian, you have to go for the mountain shepherd. The coat looks similar and that dog is a beast.

Read it can tear pit bull to shreds without much struggle.

But on a serious note, if I should ever get a dog, it should be Aussie husky. They are everywhere here and so beautiful to behold.

Are mountain shepherds not the same as Caucasian sheperds? They're the same I think.
Lol,I dont have to read to know what Caucasians are capable of. Used to own one along with a rott and an alsatian, Terror was the bully amongst them despite being the youngest, a huge beast after my heart. cheesy Once I'm home from school, it spent a lot of time in my bedroom, my mama complain taya grin

If you follow the pet section, you will read stories of Caucasians owned by some nairalanders attacking other dogs...generally, if they're not well socialized, they are that aggressive, it took me a while to get mine under control back then cos I messed up in the beginning by allowing him play rough play with me.

I haven't bought any dog since Terror died, it's been many years and I was in uni then. I travel a lot now so it's not yet feasible for me to own a dog again

Are Aussie huskies small and calm enough for a first time dog owner like you? I don't know anything about them, make you nor go buy dog wey go dey drag you when you're taking it for a walk grin
Family / Re: She Cheated on me and now desperately want me back by Unnerve: 12:00am On Aug 11, 2020
Lol, you would have to be simple-minded to allow a woman who disrespected you, insulted your mother, and treated you like shït, back into your life just like that.

She even went ahead to cheat on you in your home where your kids are... Haha.

You're a funny man, a very funny man. I wouldn't be contemplating getting back together if I were you. Who died and made me mad na?

But you're not me, so if you're going to forgive her, then at least make it hard for her to regain her place, and after regaining her place beside you, she should continue working very hard to retain that spot.

Don't make it easy.

"Once bitten, twice shy" was meant for situations like this.

I remember, you told me about your animal fiction interests grin

But you don't like me at all, instead of me to spend like a million naira for a tibetan mastiff pup, better to stick with my dear caucasian at 200/250k. In terms of size and fur quantity (which is what I look out for in dog breeds), they are quite comparable.

Maybe a pure bred wolf at that outrageous price, I fit consider cheesy

Sorry to say this but a lot of you active TRP members seem like you're trying too hard when you engage those ladies. This is what usually backfires.

When you start responding and having arguments with them, it comes off like you're trying to defend and explain yourselves...and guess what, alphas don't explain/defend themselves, least of all to women whom they share no emotional connection with or need to prove anything to.

Y'all say what you have to say, carry on conversations with those who are in agreement with you, and ignore anyone trying to turn the thread into a battlefield.

It's quite simple, yet obviously so difficult for a number of you.

Gd morning nlders, this is a family issue.
In a family where one amongst all is more privileged than the others as a result of exposure to opportunities, is it adviceable to not show your siblings the way for fear they might become rude and ungrateful in the long run?
Worthy of note is that this privileged one doesn't Dole out money anyhow whether to siblings or parents and even gets angry when his not so buoyant junior does things that involves money for d family. He sees d gesture as trying to compete with him.

Wow, i read it all. Such a feat!!

Political interests will always ensure that Weapons of coercion will be used as leverage against opposing countries.

If countries are able to deal in fair and just manner, there will likely be no need for even an automatic rifle, let alone Nuclear warheads.
They're all crooks, no nuclear-capable country is actually better than the other, although China is even more trustworthy compared to the yanks.

Notice how they didn't include a complete de-nuclearization by all countries (US inclusive) as one of the solutions? cheesy

Only America can be trusted with nuclear weapons..

But why build it in the first place. Could it be they have a plan of ending the world one day?
You're completely clueless.

No country can be trusted with nuclear weapons, least of all the US which is the only country that has detonated an atomic bomb on civilian population and is also fond of invading other countries using dubious reasons.

By all logical indices, it's 100% safer to even trust communist China with her nuclear weapons than the United States.

Secondly, Perry and Collina make the case for nuclear powers pledging to only use nuclear weapons in retaliation – and never being first. “China's an interesting example, because it already has a no first use policy,” says Collina. “They've announced that they will not use nuclear weapons first in a crisis, and there's some credibility in that policy because China separates its warheads [which contain the nuclear material] from its missiles [the delivery system].” This means China would have to mate the two together before launching an attack, and with so many satellites constantly watching for this, presumably someone would notice.

Notably, the US and Russia have no such policy – they reserve the right to launch their nuclear weapons, even in response to conventional warfare methods.

Even after reading all that (which I personally didn't have to read to know), you still believe only America can be trusted with nuclear weapons.

Be guided.
