Just joined the Daarsat HD club today.But contrary to what George_D said, I did not find it difficult to use and as a matter of fact, the decoder was upgraded right there before i took it home and still used it for Multi tv and Daarsat;although it was a decoder to decoder upgrade.Guys, multi tv is hot!!

You forgot tell us the features and what is missing compared with Strong 4910.Yes we know there is no blind scan, what of diseqc and can it pick mpeg 2 ?

I was among the first that bought Mytv when they launched in 1st April 2006.But after a year, being 2007, I sold my smart card to an installer.My anger was that they added MGM(Old school movies) as their movie channel till date.Presently, they also have fox entertainment which is a series channel not movies.Plus no football.

If the price of strong HD decoders are actually that high, then Daarsat decoder will be a better option in as much that some essential functions will be missing.

Use this for your W4. 12.169 H 27.500. Please note that with 60cm, W4 will not be in the same line with mytv. So turn your dish just a little bit to the right before lifting. And note, If you are using diseqc switch, and you don't know how to set it in your dish setting, PLEASE input any of these tps under the satellite name you have been using for mytv cause I guess that is the problem.

So the best Hitv can do is to replace CNBC Africa?.
Which means that all the clamour for a dedicated movie channel is a mere noise.Come to think of it, does bloomberg represent the African market? Shame to Hitv.Hi goats.

Since you're using strong, use those frequencies I posted and also read earlier posts, surely you will hit it.
The bird is right beside W4, Dstv location.

Just nailed Astra2b on 60CM using 12.599 V 03255 for Crtv, and 12.729 V 02.725 for Ltm tv with strong decoder 4652. Guys its the easiest bird to hunt using Dstv location.At the least, you will hit 80% using the method that have been explained earlier.Other edited frequencys include 12.550 V 19.525, 12.617 V 08.000, 12.639 V 10.000 but nothing came up. Probably the channels are on HD for Multi tv.

Why is everybody so worried about e.tv? What are the Nigerian channels doing for us? They best they could do is to transmit on C-band and if you wish to watch using Ku-band, you pay. So if e.tv is limiting their beam to south africa, they are not being selfish instead ours(Nigeria) are the most selfish.

Re scan 12.645, 30.000 on W3a 7 degree East for Euronews, NBN etc.

Has anyone noticed that Deeper life church is using a new location with a 60cm dish? Any relevant information concerning that location will be welcomed.

If you know what is good for you, better forget Mytv. They have nothing to offer. Dstv family package is incomparable to Mytv yet the same 2500. Or rather go for Ctl, they have hot channels now with all the leagues included for just 2650 but you have to be in the east.
