Congrats to those who got their visa approved. I was active on this thread two years ago but gave up after I got denied a visa. I want to try again in fall 2021 and hopefully I get approved this time around. I'm looking at going for a masters in public health or health informatics (as those are my two areas of interest), please can anyone recommend some schools that provide funding or with a low cost of attendance for any of the two programs so I look them up? I will be grateful. I'm still doing my research and I'll appreciate your inputs.

This is a bit of a tricky situation though. Even if palliatives are/were still in the school, the safety of the girls is paramount. You are aware of the trauma many of those girls would experience seeing hundreds of people trooping into their school to loot palliatives, right?

It's unfortunate that the soldiers stray bullet killed someone but really, people shouldn't be forcing their way into a school compound filled with kids, let alone an all girls school.

IMO, the looters should have just respected the security agency and turned back rather than trying to force their way into the school to get palliatives which they aren't certain is there or not.

The matter should be investigated to see if the soldier that shot is guilty of involuntary manslaughter and he should be punished accordingly and the victim's family should be compensated regardless

A massacre happened and there were no blood stains anywhere, no hospital reported that the dead bodies are been preserved in their morgues, no identities yet, the massacred protesters don't have a family, no obituaries, no funerals yet? Those who were alleged to have died have come out to debunked the fake NEWs.
Even if the army seized the bodies of those they killed(which is a lie), the families have not kom out to decry their missing members? Even the protest organizers don't know those who died. Even those who made live Instagram videos were caught posting fake pictures.. in this era where everyone has access to Android phones, nobody has authentic pictures of those who were massacred in lekki.
A thorough investigation needs to be carried out on this matter and people made to face the full wrath of the law

Have you tried contacting IRCC and VFS? You can call IRCC or send a webform to them. Also call VFS to find out if your passport is with them. If you know the visa office processing your application, you can also contact the visa office directly.

They really don't need to negotiate with Messi. Messi only wants to negotiate his exit for free which will be Detrimental for Barca. All Barca needs to do is to let interested clubs know that they are willing to sell for a price below the release clause and then negotiate with any interested club. To be honest, I never saw Lionel Messi winning this battle. Before Covid-19, those whose contracts ought to have expired "at the end of the season" had to agree an extension with their clubs because the season ended in June, there was no automatic extension for those contracts. Since Messi's clause was signed before covid and it stated "the end of the season", then Messi's case shouldn't be different.

Barca fans don't know what is going to hit them yet. Their club is already in financial crisis and some of them want Messi to leave for free because of their emotional attachment to him. I'm sure Barca doesn't doubt the fact that he wants to leave but they need any interested club to pay his release clause or something close to that so they can reinvest the money. If Messi leaves for free, Barca will become like Villareal and Valencia in a few years time. Barca has an ageing team and desperately needs money to buy young players and someone's even thinking of allowing their best player leave for free.

Some say if this ends up becoming a saga then Messi will not love the club anymore, do you prefer to preserve the love Messi has for Barca than to save the future of your club?

This is what I think Barca would prefer to do but Messi and his camp wants to leave for free because they know Barca will demand at least 300m euros and no club would be willing to pay 300m euros and then pay Messi's huge wages after the impact covid-19 has had. So Messi is looking out for himself by wanting to leave for free. It will be interesting to see how this unfolds
