the only part thats not part of the write up is ''we are superb on all corners, up barca''.or is it because you copied it from barcelonas fan thread(scanthee).

do yourself a favor a read up the achiements of real madrid baloncesto to that of regal barcelona, then you can comeback and tell ''us'' who is indeed superb.

And big ups to Madrid for winning tonights game.3points is all that matters at the days end and thats what really counts.
Hala Madrid.

Supercopa ACB Semifinals
24 September 2010

REGAL BARCELONA
89

REAL MADRID
55

One week of preseason workouts wasn't enough to help Real Madrid defeat Barcelona in the semifinals of the ACB Super Cup. The Whites lost 89-55 to the eternal foe. Barça were solid in their shots from outside the perimeter (11/19 three-pointers) and the Madridista roster just didn't have enough time to come together yet. Clay Tucker was Real Madrid's best man, scoring 15 points.

Real Madrid had a good start; they did well in defence and looked for Tomic and Velickovic to pull off one-on-ones in offence. Barcelona were true to their style: they were smothering in defence and very efficient in offence, scoring three-pointers through Navarro (6 in the first quarter) and further points through Mickeal (5). Ettore Messina made changes to the lineup and, by the 6-minute mark, four of the new signings had already made their debut. Sergio Llull and Sergio Rodriguez tried to cut distances with lay-ups, but a three-pointer by Navarro gave Barça a 13-point cushion by the end of the period (26-13).

The Whites still didn't adjust to the pace of the game, with Barcelona's defence forcing them to make hasty shots. They only scored two isolated field goals through Reyes and Tomic in five minutes (38-17, 15'). Clay Tucker scored two consecutive three-pointers and one two-pointer in the final minutes of the act, which gave the team a little boost. This small reaction was burnt out by Terrence Morris with a three-pointer (45-29, 20').

The second half was unremarkable and Barcelona sentenced the game 89-55 thanks to a great run. Real Madrid are under construction and need time to adapt to each other. The ACB League tips-off for the Whites on Thursday against Estudiantes, which gives them plenty time to make a comeback.

we are superb for all corners, up Barca

The fool has said it already that come what may next yr Jonathan will and must win the presidential election. hmmmmmm.
haba oga scopusng,
nothing in the article said he has already won the primaries talkless of the election.
but I can see the article saying GEJ wants OBAMA to come next year so as not to give the impression that his(BHO) visit swayed the election in his favor.
It can be interpreted as a ''sure banker'' comment but at thesame time it may just be a show of confidence in the forthcoming election.

but the ucl is more competitive than the world cup.
talk about the respect. players are fortunate to win the world cup. but the merit the ucl. imagine figo, c ronaldo, messi, so many good player might never win a world cup becos of the country they come from. give it for ucl where the best players play and win unlike the wold cup where anybody can play provider the country qualifies
Competitive is a relative word. The world cup is also competitive in its own way.
Just as you have some teams always qualifying for the UCL listing in their countries year-in year-out, so do you have countries almost always having automatic qualification in their continents.
And not everyplayer will win the UCL in their footballing careers too. Due to other factors too. Example, Ronaldo de lima,George Weah.
and also give it to the WC where any country can play even if they dont have all the money in the world to buy players but make do with the resources they have.

someone said an expert advice should have been sort out

Yes, you could kill someone with a shotgun fire from more than 500 yards depending on the type of explosive projectile used. Effective range is usually less than 50 yards when a cartridge is used but much longer when a shotgun slug or rifle bullet is used.

Sports › Re: Which is more glamorous? by usbcable(m): 11:13am On Sep 25, 2010
Officially even U.E.F.A recognizes that the mostrespected footballing event in the world is the world-cup.
Fine, the attraction UCL pulls is enormous due to its marketability on a yearly basis.Even at that the amount the world-cup generates stills exceeds theUCL.

Win the WC, you are termed a ''WORLD'' champion
Win the UCL, you are termed a ''EUROPEAN'' champion

the UCL champion competes with other continental champions including Africa
while the WC champin would have represented Planet earth in the Solar System, if it were to happen.

So the world cup has prestege and respect compared to the UCL. And the glamour is always there because you find all racesof the world assembling in one country with on goal in mind unlike the UCL that has more emphasis in europe and other continents a well but not on same scale as the WC.

This was as far back as 2007 and they are yet to give my the CofO and its one story to the other and now they have shifted the goal post to the end of the year.

How can I go about getting them to give me the property I deuly paid for.or at worst give me back my money(if its a more sensible thing to do-as I have beenadvised not to collect back the money, that it wont be to my advantage)

i live in ketu (Demurin axis)
and the match was between agboyi-ketu vs ikosi-isheri. I felt bad that we (agboyi-ketu) lost 1-2 although we scored first.

Then I realised the reason you find people supporting clubs like west-ham,west-brom,cardiff city f.c. its becuase they have a direct relation to them clubs.

so sad our premier league is crap.

#Beaf/slap1/solomon227 are just so in the mood to fend-off any opposition against ''GEJ+A and sambo ticket".
#janus/cap28/xterra2 are also proving to be set to show ''them no go gree'' for G.I.Joe.
they are very much unlike the BigB1 and co that are so shallow in their job of supporting the IBB.even though they claim not to support him.
As for me, I would vote for Jonny for some reasons most prominent of which is, amongst ALL the pack in PDP, he is the LEAST unpallatable.
You might say ''Ribadu nko'' but right now he is yet to declare which platform he wants to use, unlike even Otunba Dele Momodu of the Labour Party
and to me since he is still the most ''saintly'' I would readily vote for him, rather than see a IBB as Nigerias president.
And he may(hopefully)perform well beyond expectations.
When Tinubu ''selected'' Fashola many political analyst shouted evil in the making, but today nearly all Lagosians would readily vote for BRF come 2011.Meaning ''Inu ikoko dudu ni eko funfun ti ma njade''(it is out of the black pot the white pap comes forthwith).
Also, no matter how little, Power supply in my area has improved.
Also, some filling station here now advertise indeed 64.50 naira for fuel.
Also, he put someone with public credibility as INEC's chairman(which is a plus on electoral process all things being equal)
Also, he at least listens to public and international comments about his governance.
Also, he so far has been able to handle the Niger Delta Militants to a large extent(even though Yar'adua started the process but he sustained it)
Also, he has been able to show some continuity in policies of the yar'adua administration.
Family › Re: Would You Send Your Elderly Parent Back To Nigeria? by usbcable(m): 8:04pm On Sep 16, 2010
The only reason I would suggest Gemma let his mum stay back in the u.k. Is due to her spending a greater part of her lifetime there.
As per Nigeria not being romantic, I beg to differ. If Nigeria is TOTALLY BORING then no one will be getting married, have kids train them here, have friends around and so on. Moreover, if for the mere fact that elderly people that have spent most of there lives here prefer to stay here shows that if you have a good means of sustainance Nigeria aint a bad place to be.
I think if you have £350k which is equivalent to 80 million naira, haba that is more than enough to enjoy life and death to the fullest here.
And about the security issue, you need to take more precautions.
But all said let the mum stay there she is used to life as a britiko and not a 9ja mama.
