I have no desire to get into linguistic analysis that will never be resolved between us. There is no issue of mis-translation, I assure you. Even your own classical scholars championed these laws and their writings bear witness to the above list. That is why I urge you to study Islam earnestly from their works. Cut back modern apologists, for your own good.

These are the teachings of all the scholars of antiquity; Bukhari, Ibn Hanbal, Ibn Kathir, Ibn Tamiyya, Abu Hanifa.

Read their works and instead watching only Mufti Menk or Nouman Ali Khan.

Absolutely. People on both sides are exploiting the suffering of their co-religionists for selfish interest; to draw sympathy or downplay their own excesses or . I saw Muslims do this after the ChristChurch massacre and now it is the turn of Christians.

No alternate documentation exists besides the hadiths and not unless you can provide another more accurate history. The hadiths remain valid.

You base the veracity of Qur'an documentation on Hadith collections? Are you aware that the first official attempt to canonize Hadith was 85 years after Qur'an? But nothing remain of that corpus today. The earliest of Hadith corpus today is Al Muwwatta originating from about 150 years after Qur'an.

If you turn to the Book of Qur'an in Al Muwwata, it speak nothing of Qur'an documentation. This leads us to the second earliest existing corpus, Sahih Bukhari, a corpus that is at least a century later than Al Muwatta.

If you read Sahih Bukhari and later corpus, you'll turn through numerous traditions challenging Qur'an preservation, such as;

1. Two third of Chapter 33 had been lost.
2. One of Muhammad's scribes recorded 116 chapters.
3. The verse for stoning adulterers was revealed but has been lost.
4. Aisha dictated a verse (Qur'an 2:238) to her scribe with textual variation from today's text.


Instead of seeking proof from Hadith, carbon dating would be a more credible alternative.
But as carbon dating only raises more question and confusion on Qur'an preservation, Muslims have their back against the wall. All their trust in preservation of Qur'an hinges on the Qur'an itself and alternative means of validating Qur'an - Mathematical Miracle - had to be sought.

Now, this Mathematical miracle of Qur'an, sometimes called Code 19, at least seem outstanding. And for years, I was content with it as unchallengeable proof of Qur'an preservation or divinity. Code 19 may allow us to overlook the centuries of textual variances and disagreements concerning early manuscripts of the Qur'an.

A drawback though, is that Code 19 doesn't address Qur'an verses discernible as factually erroneous. And so in event of such errors, many of which have been highlighted by non-Muslims or ex-Muslims as reason for distrusting Qur'an, code 19 becomes another poor ploy to validate Qur'an.

All these considered, we cannot say for certain that Qur'an has been preserved and perfect.

One of the reasons I have posted these sharia laws breaching human rights is to inform the sincere but ignorant Muslims what sharia really is. Many Muslims support sharia because they've been deceived to believe it grant them rights superior to any other law.

But there is another important reason to expose the dangers of sharia. And that is as sympathy for people that have been victimized due to execution of sharia laws. The amputated thief, the child bride, the jihadists' slave, the robbed heir etc. It is unfair that sharia laws has and continue to harm people while dishonest Muslims rather persist in denial or faulting Christianity.

I didn't say there are aliens. But I entertain the possibility. I'm not fully certain of Evolution. I'm still open to intelligent design although I disagree with Abrahamic religion theory that Adam was created from clay.

2. Psalms (Zabur)

3. Gospel (Injil)

4. Quran.

The question is, are these books perfect?

Because If book A is said to be perfect why does it call for book B?

And if you say the 3 books are not perfect how come the 4th book is perfect? I mean these books are said to come from same source Allah?

What if Allah thought of it one day and said "screw it I'm sending another book, the 4th one is no longer perfect" just like the previous ones?

So are the four books of Allah all perfect?

I don't know much about the Psalms. As for the other three, they have weaknesses. Most obvious being inaccurate claims usually pertaining to science.

Ah, Ngasky. This is unwarranted. Just because those verses exist in the Bible doesn't justify these sharia laws.

Criminal Rights

The penalty for theft is amputation. Theft covers items as little as an egg.

The penalty for adultery is death.

The penalty for homosexual acts is death, gay/lesbian marriage banned.

Religious Equality & Minority Rights

Restitution for manslaughter of non-Muslim is worth half a Muslim's.

Death penalty is not executable if a Muslim murders a non-Muslim.

Non-Muslim relatives shall not inherit from Muslims, and vice versa.

Non-Muslims shall not erect new temples or openly display their religious symbols.

Non-Muslim men banned from marrying Muslim women.

A man may 'lightly' hit his wife for misbehaving.

Girls may be married off even prior menstruation, if they do not protest.

Muslim women are banned from marrying non-Muslim men.

Non-married female slaves must sexually fulfill their masters.

A Muslim wife cannot independently divorce her husband.

Gender Equity & Women's Rights

The inheritance share of Muslim women is limited to half of the men's share.

The testimony of women is worth half of a man, with only few & rare exceptions.

A woman shall not rule a nation or judge in court.

A Muslim woman must cover from hair to toe. Face covering is mandatory or highly advised.

Restitution for manslaughter of a woman is worth half of a man's.

Freedom of Speech & Act

Criticism &/or insult of Islam or Muhammad is blasphemy and bears death penalty.

Endorsement or open practice of any other religion or ideologies like Secularism is banned.

Heterodox interpretations of Islam are banned and Muslim heretics are punishable by death.

Freedom of Belief & Right to Live

The penalty for apostasy is death. Refusal of a Muslim to perform salat or zakat is also apostasy.

In return for Right to Live under sharia state, Jewish & Christian men must pay periodic tribute.

Atheists, Deists, Pagans, Baha'i's under sharia rule must accept Islam or face execution.

Right to Peaceful coexistence

The sharia government is obliged to militarily invade non-sharia states to enforce sharia and spread Islam.

The Prisoners of war may be subject to slavery. Sharia permits or sustains slavery.

Traditional sharia comes from 3 main sources; Ancient Tafsir(Qur'an Exegesis), Hadith books & formal traditional schools of jurisprudence - Maliki, Hanafi, Shafii, Hanbali, Ja'fari fiqh.
