Mr Quranite, do you believe in the hadith you posted? If yes, then you are an hypocrite because you have declared over time and again that you believe in no hadith.
You know me well enough. Cherry picking only Hadith that suit your sectarian ideology while neglecting Hadith that denies your ideology is the height of hypocrisy. Anyone could have pointed that out.

And if NO, am afraid you have no place on this thread for its strictly reserved for those who believe in the ahadith of the Prophet.
# I mean no offence.
Whoever cared for your threads anyway? Desist from weak apologetics, distorted facts and I 'll be sure to stay out of your threads.

You are still JJC here. There is too much evidence that the against the Sunnah even in the Hadith books themselves. The above Hadith where Muhammad reveal only the Qur'an as his legacy leaves the ideology of Ahlul Sunnah in question. Welldone my man. But you failed to see that he already admitted it is not 100% accurate. That's all I wanted to know. I am not the one making fun of Sahih Bukhari collections and i see no reason for me to do that. I defend his collections more than the questioners.
He says the Book is not infallible, but to accept some particular Hadith in it to be inauthentic(confirming its fallibility) as you have claimed, he needs you to prove so by subjecting those Hadith through Science of Hadith and reveal what particularly makes those Hadith inauthentic.

For you, I know you well. You just looking for more holes to disparage "mainstream" as you proudly call us and make yourself feel good cheesy
I am not looking to disparage anyone. I spot the holes already and it is up to you to prove me wrong. Cherry-picking Sahih Hadith after giving credence to the science of Hadith is hypocritical, a betrayal of the efforts of the Hadith scholars. Worse still, it open doors for any Muslim to subjectively accept or reject Hadith without consistency, proper methodology or sincerity. I feel you and many traditional Muslims are already guilty of this.

This should rather be directed at baqir. I'm not going to be digging and finding faults unless when it's absolutely necessary.
He demand you to employ the science of Hadith in proving Sahih Bukhari is not 100% authentic. So get your butt up, given that the science of Hadith is the criterion for determining the authenticity of an Hadith by traditional Muslim scholars, it doesn't seem he or anyone is placing you in a hostile position with Bukhari.

"Saved Sect"? I am advocate against that. Accepting PLURALISM is not the problem. The problem is religion is practised as taught by the prophet. We know it is impossible that the prophet was just walking around without practically involved with his sahaba and taught them the religion. That's the sense I am trying to put in your upstairs. Excuse my language
Is that so? Your traditional Muslim communities accept pluralism? I beg to differ. What happened to these Muslim figures; Muhammad Taha, Rashad Khalifa, Ahmed Subhy Mansur or Javed Ahmed Ghamidi?

You raised good point but unfortunately I am not partisan nor do i belong to any of the organisations you mentioned. I am not anti them either. See them only as my brethrens in faith.

Yes, Ramadan iftar was good and tastes Premium or First Class taste YUM YUM YUM. Nice Dish with Rice the main dish, Beef, lamb and sometimes potatoes on the side with SUPER stew also on the side of the plate and Roti as desert. Each plate costs at least $10 and probably they ordered some 400+ plates per day for 30 days excluding assorted drinks, Bagels, Biscuits and fruits for pre-iftar. However, this is open to the public which means they dont give a flying fu!k whether you are Sunni/Shia Sufi/Salafi/Wahabi or Quraniyun like you. Even homeless and non muslim dudes tried to belong and pretend to be one the "Muhammadans" but are not chased away. They all eat. So what exactly is your point? That Quranite are dealt with separately or subdued, marginalized and subjugated in the muslim community? FALSE OF THE CENTURY

I know by now you SALIVATING on the MENUS above. I noticed that for you to bring this up MUST have pained you so bad that you didnt get to be part of these organisations in order to scythe the benefits above. That's too painful. I am so sorry but hopefully we still alife NEXT year so you can belong. However, renounce Quraniyoon wholeheartedly to qualify the whole package deal
Me salivate? Oh please. I don't eat outside my home. Haha, it is good we share a joke this time, rather than tearing each other over Hadith.

You can iron this out with newnas and vedexcool. They are your buddies in the arena
It concerns you, playa. Your Friday sermons, Ramadan lectures, Islamic books are moderated by Saudi Sheikh, subservient to the Kingdom. The rapid spread of Salafism in the Muslim world account for this.

You are a partisan or affiliate of MSS, CAIR and Muslim Brotherhood, right? Do you know how many millions of dollars your organisations receive from Saudi Government? It is from this fund that you receive loans, gifts and many other benefits from these organisations. The magnificent Ramadan Iftar or dinner you enjoy at your local mosque throughout Ramadan, who sponsor them? You have so much money to throw big events, where you invite politicians, federal agents. Would these people come to an event that we would hold? Impossible! We have no exotic means to host these officials that have a feast day every Ramadan with you.

Do you know how much Salafi sheikhs in Saudi are paid to promote salafism and back the Saudi Monarchy?

Still perambulating. Tell me how you bury your dead according to Qur'an?.
How do you bath your newborn according to your religion? You really remind me of the Pharisees of Jesus era, so caught up with trival issues yet neglecting weightier issues on the law.

When you offer your salat alone do as you wish. But when you are behind Imam in congregation you follow the rules. There are people who are not comfortable reciting silently in afternoon salat. They would recite loud in their own single salat. Qur'an says recite not too loud and not too low. Does that indicates which of the 5 daily salat?. Answer is NO.
Since the Qur'an did not specify which Salat should be moderately loud, it goes beyond saying that the Qur'an is referring to all Salat. If I say, "Eat your meals at the table", I mean you eat all your meals at the table, not one or two of all your meals.

Qur'an also speaks of Ramadan but without practical
demonstration by the prophet we would not know the
start, rules and the end. The same applies to zakathe
and Hajj
You clearly don't believe the Qur'an is sufficient for your salvation. That is the consequence of your discontent with what the Qur'an has provided concerning this rituals. Sawn and Zakat are really easy to observe from Qur'an, can't speak much for Hajj since I am still studying on it. Years and decades of consuming Hadith/Sunnah beclouds one's reasoning, hindering independent inderstanding of Qur'an, you know. Still, I understand Hajj enough to know that Muhammad wouldn't enjoin many of the rites Hadith teaches on Hajj. So, I doubt the reliability off Hadith book to help one understand Hajj. I have been misled most of my life by these books, I just can't see them anymore reliable than rumors or hearsay ever again.

What's is the percentage of Qur'anites in the Muslim
world? I'm sure it's far less than 0.00.00 to nothing.
How do you know that? We don't wear our beliefs on our sleeves, so it is possible there are many around you but you assume they are Sunnis, Shia, Christians or Atheist. Of course, we are tremendously outnumbered in the Muslim community, but that is understandable because we don't have the backing of any government or petrol dollars to run schools, TV stations and Mosques to propagate our ideology. Our intellectual works are banned at "Muslimdom" and we suffer backlash from the family and state for expressing our beliefs.

Empiree: I think we should be careful of raising the level of hadith with standard of Qur'an.
So, are you not raising Hadith beyond Quran when you accept Hadith to recite your salat silenly whilst ignoring Qur'an rule to recite aloud?

Your words aren't saying what your heart says. For so long you have lead me on with those words, though I harbored suspicions. Suspicions which were confirmed when you couldn't make the promise I requested in my last post. This confirms as far as Islam is concerned, you regard the teachings of your clerics and your customs or pre-existing belief above the Qur'an. Why else would you recite your salat silently when Qur'an directly stipulates otherwise?

Another thing I observe is you lack a well defined methodology of accepting Hadith. Since some some of the Hadith you acknowledge contradict the Qur'an and some of those you reject are Sahih Hadith, you evidently just cherry-pick Hadith based on the teachings of your clerics, your pre-existing notions and customs. I don't give a damn this as long as you are transparent and not in denial about it

Peace.

Empiree: Bolded gives room for everyone to pray the way they
deem fit. Imagine we all gather in masjid and some
bending backward contrary to mainstream. Some
would lie on their belling claiming they praying Salat
too etc That's not coordinated.
Your concern is uniformity but God never mention uniformity among men in these rituals as of paramount importance. What matters to Him is the heart of the believers.

I gave you analogy earlier and I told you it is up to you if you choose to complicate this further. You have no valid excuse because the Sahaba were present and saw the prophet (saw) prayed.
And these Sahabas wrote the Hadith, right? They complied it as they compiled the Qur'an, right? Please think.

If Qur'an's descriptions of Salat is enough, ALL "Qur'anites" should be able to pray same way. But i can guarantee you if we gather 10 of you in separate rooms you would offer salat differently.
Too much bothering for uniformity on your path, and what did I say on salat being a flexible ritual? Another problem you face is that you don't realise these rituals proceeded Muhammad, you don't see that Muhammad grew up in a community that understood and perform this rituals. Hence, you imagine people praying salat by lying on their stomach without Hadith. You then ask how I know Suratul Fatiha should begin salat. This again proves you may not even understand the significance and purpose of salat. If I were to give detailed answer to all your questions, I 'll end up not attending to my personal affairs. So I 'll stick with what is important.

This has it context. Even the two afternoon Salat have
theirs and they are totally unvoiced as proved by
uninterrupted Sunnah. Again, i understand what you're
trying to prove. Unfortunately, so long as you reject
tafsir, history etc you may be having problems. You
can't deny history or events or incidents leading to
certain conditions. This issue you raised was directed
at the prophet. It is normal to pray loud during salat
unless otherwise stated. The prophet (p) was simply
praying loud when the ayat were revealed. The ayat
begin with declaration of the purity and Oneness of
Allah. The revelations were based on events.
In favor of Hadith, you abrogate & violate a clear Quranic order to recite aloud and you think all these debatable histories and tafsir acquits you. This is one clear area the sunnah contradict the Qur'an, the instruction in the verse is direct and general for all believers. To demand women recite silently because men are nearby is still clear violation of the command here.

You did say, you reject any Hadith that contradict Qur'an, prove it. Henceforth, recite moderately loud in all your salat in all the rakats, enjoin this on your co-religionists as well. Promise. If you can't do this, then it will be clear to us which take precedence for you; Qur'an or Hadith books.

Sunset is the beginning of the night. We know from
hadith that LAIL is divided into three or more. We are
told our prayer is most answerable THE THIRD PART
OF THE NIGHT. How about the other two NIGHTS
preceding it?. Even if you live in a city and you drive
they recognize LAIL or NIGHT after sunset. That's why
parking is free and parking meter is locked after that.
Night does not begin till after dusk, well beyond sunset. To claim night begins at sunset is like claiming night ends at sunrise or day begins at sunrise. It is flawed and layman. By sunset, when you traditionalists break your fast, it is still clear enough to drive without a headlamp. No one considers this as night.
IslamRe: Are These Hadeeth Sahih ? by usermane(m):
Empiree: These are mustahab. If you reject them there is no fault
on you. What I am saying is you went too far by
rejecting obligatory practices as practically
demonstrated by the prophet(SAW) and there is no
objection throughout Islamic history to that. These are
Salat, Zakat, haj, saum etc . I mean how to practice
them. This is where you failed. That's very dangerous.
Well, I still perform my rituals a little like how Hadith explains them. It just happen that :

A. I don't believe that these rituals ought to be done precisely as the Hadith described. The absence of precise demonstration of these rituals by the Qur'an as in the Hadith spells that Islamic rituals are much flexible than we have been led to believe. Otherwise, the Qur'an would have incorporated every step of these rituals given the level of corruption destined for Hadith books.

B. I understand that Muhammad didn't introduce these rituals. They were well recognized by Arab pagans and Jews well before Muhammad. As the Qur'an was revealed, it modified these rituals in the areas of importance. Thus, with or without Hadith, we can practice these rituals.

C. Given that the Hadith on rituals are from the same documents as other Hadith with unholy content, it leaves the credibility of even these Hadith on rituals in question. As if this isn't bad enough, these Hadith on rituals sometimes contradict the Qur'an, casting further doubts on their authenticity. For instance, any recitation during salat is to be moderately loud according to Qur'an(17:110) and fast must be broken only at night(2:187). However, in contradiction, the Hadith on rituals demand some Salat recitation be done silently(always silently for women) and fast be broken as soon as sunset.

This is sufficient and rational ground to dismiss even Hadith on rituals without coming across as an extremist. If these Hadith contradict Qur'an, how can we believe Muhammad relayed them even if all mainstream Muslims agree on them?

Peace! parisbookaddict. I 've gone through half of the book, thanks to your link. I was a bit let down by the book, I think the writer focused too much reiterating, emphasizing or divulging the mind of Muhammad instead of presenting the readers with more unholy teachings from Hadith, Sirah and Tafsir attributed to Muhammad. Thus, the book is unnecessarily span over 300 pages for content that about 200 pages would have sufficed.

Next issue I have with the book is reference. Some of the Hadith the writer put forth as his evidences in the book are not referenced. A book this controversial ought to have its evidenced fully referenced for verification or else the professionalism of the author may be doubted.

To a limited extent, I think it is a good criticism of traditional portrayal of Muhammad & mainstream Islam but for the presentation, and excessive focus on Muhammad rather than teachings ascribed to him, it could have been a much better work.

That being said, I am determined to complete the book, not for any other reason than uncovering more unholy Hadith, Tafsir and stories attributed to Muhammad.

You see highlighted part, that's your opinion. I am not really interested in this argument.
Nope, not my opinion. If you grasp the concept of monotheism, you 'd easily see that taking any other entity beside God as source of religious or spiritual law negate La ilaha illa Allah.

But then, we already dealt with this. You have unfinished business where I asked you where is EXAMPLE, PRACTICES etc of Muhammad(P)? You admitted this had to be documented separately which is hadith. I hope you remember that?. You later left the thread.
Which thread? I have always maintained that Muhammad's examples were derived from the Qur'an. As the deliverer of the revelation, the onus is upon him to abide by the revelations, thus he becomes an example. The problem with the position that Hadith are necessary to follow Muhammad's example is that it downplays the significance of the Qur'an, implying that even the "Book of Allah" is not sufficient for one to lead an exemplary and pious life.

Qur'an is MANUAL and YOU are the example for your children. Your children would document or memorise what you do and instructions you give them. That is separate from the manual. Get my analogy?. It is impossible for 23yrs period not to have documented or memorized practices laid down by the prophet in separate sheets by eyewitnesses.
Great analogy. Usually, manuals are not often detailed, thus necessitating further instruction. But when we take account of the numerous verses describing Qur'an as "detailed", it is hard to see any need for seeking examples or instructions outside Quran

So newnas is ONE EXTREME. You are ANOTHER EXTREME. Both can not be right.
And you are in the middle, right? I have been with you here for 2 years, and even though my rejection of all Hadith may seem extreme to you, I do not believe that a Muslim's degree of accepting or rejecting Hadith is a measure of how extreme he is. Even though I reject Hadith as divine revelations, there are numerous Hadith whose matn am fine with. I condone Hadith that neither contradict nor add to the Qur'an as long as we realise that Hadith are mere hearsay.

I leave you with this

Miqdam ibn Ma’di reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Verily, I have been given the Quran and something along with it, but the time is coming when a man will recline on his couch and say: Keep to the Quran, for whatever you find in it lawful is lawful and whatever you find in it unlawful is unlawful....."

Source: Sunan Abu Dawud 4604
Fabricated Hadith and clearly a desperate attempt to pre-empt any rejection of Hadith. If Hadith fabrication was a fact, is it any surprising how far the fabricators of Hadith would go to cover their track?

Please see this:

Sahih Bukhari Volume 1, Book 8, Number 446 :

Narrated by ‘Aisha

Barira came to seek my help regarding her manumission. I told herself you like I would pay your price to your masters but your Al-Wala(1) would be for me.” Her masters said, “If you like, you can pay what remains (of the price of her manumission), (Sufyan the sub-narrator once said), or if you like you can manumit her, but her (inheritance) Al- Wala would be for us. “When Allah’s Apostle came, I spoke to him about it. He said, “Buy her and manumit her. No doubt Al-Wala(1) is for the manumitted.” Then Allah’s Apostle stood on the pulpit (or Allah’s Apostle ascended the pulpit as Sufyan once said), and said, “What about some people who impose conditions which are not present in Allah’s Book (Laws)? Whoever imposes conditions which are not in Allah’s Book (Laws), his conditions will be invalid even if he imposed them a hundred times.”

Empiree: These Quran verses talk about Following the prophet,
following his path 3:31,3:32, 3:132,
4:13,4:59,4:64,4:69, 4:80, 5:92, 8:1,8:20, 8:46, 9:71,
24:52, 24:54, 24:56, , 33:33, 33:71, 47:33,
48:17, , 64:12.
In summary, all these verses states "Obey God & Obey the messenger"
You believe that Obey God = Obey Qur'an & Obey the messenger = Obey Hadith books. This way, you mean obeying God is not necessarily same as obeying the messenger since the books of Hadith covers laws and doctrines absent in the Qur'an. Thus, to you, the messenger becomes a partner a with God, making decrees that may even abrogate God 's decrees.
There is only one authority that legislates in monotheistic faiths; God, and he shares His authority with none.

Hence, the reason why “obey the messenger” is mentioned after “obey God” is because the latter is a vague command. Jews, Christians, Zoroastrians and Pagans at the time of revelation through Muhammad all claimed to be obeying God(although they were actually obeying conjectures). To clarify what “obey God” imply, “obey the messenger” is mentioned. Thus, explaining that obedience to God is obedience to the messenger calling them, not the conjectures and man made doctrines attributed to God.

33:21
So where does Muhammad get his examples from? For him to be of exemplary character, where did he look for guides to conduct his affairs? Are you implying that a Muslim can't lead exemplary life with all the details from the Qur'an?

It's the same people who compiled the Quran that also compiled the hadith of the Messenger alyhissolaat wassalaam. So don't try to justify your disbelief!
This is not true. Your historical and Hadith texts claim that Qur'an was compiled by Uthman bin Affan. The manuscripts for Uthman's compilation were from Hafsah Bint Umar, the same manuscripts your historians report the first two Caliphs referenced. Citation here: [1]

The first official collection of Hadith was by 85 years after the death of Muhammad during the reign of Umar II

Your excuse for rejecting a narration is because you don't believe or think something like that could be possible. You are not the first disbeliever of your kind.
Are you saying Muhammad cohabited with a 9 years old child? Are you demanding we accept pedophiles because Bukhari reported Muhammad commited pedophilia?

See the following sahih hadith

Sunan Abu Dawud - Book 1, Hadith 66

Narrated AbuSa'id al- Khudri:

The people asked the Messenger of Allah ( ﷺ): Can we perform ablution out of the well of Buda'ah, which is a well into which menstrual clothes, dead dogs and stinking things were thrown? He replied: Water is pure and is not defiled by anything.
Do you think that a messenger of God will permit ablution with water contaminated by dead dogs or menstrual clothes? Do you think that water is not defilable?

Allah has promised to protect the Quran and by implication, the sunnah also.
Of course, the Lord protects His revelation. The question is, in what sense is the revelation protected? In paper and ink, memory of men? See Qur'an 22:52 & 53. I rest my case on this. As for the sunnah, it lack Quranic basis, there is no such thing as Sunnatul Nabi in the 114 chapters of the Qur'an. After arduous research on this matter, my only conclusion is that what you call 'Sunnah of Muhammad' are merely traditions of men, deceptively attributed to Muhammad.

Additionally, you keep proclaiming you are a nice guy, man, you may think you are nice but others may not think so. In fact, genuine nice people don't go announcing that they are nice, they don't have to. There could be something else detaching girls from you, you may exhibit flaws which you haven't even realise.

Like iLegend, I admit that women are often mean and heartless to men. What I do not share is his recommendation for men like you to become bad and mean towards women. Men get dumped for numerous reasons that may have nothing to do with them being nice.

If you are already considering turning a bad guy to draw you women, ask yourself these simple questions; would you recommend this kind of bad guy for your sister or daughter? Are you willing to become the kind of man you wouldn't wish for your sister or daughter? Is getting laid or a girlfriend worth threading that path? You really want women that are attracted to and supportive of douchebags; selfish, inconsiderate men?

I am not here to decide for you. I long for a sweet, loving woman as you do, but if getting this woman mean turning a bad guy, then I can manage alone. In light of the tragedy in France, which claimed 84 lives, I'd like to ask Nairaland muslims a very important question:

Is there something in Islam that makes it very easy for bad men to convince young muslim men to take part in evil terrorist attacks?

If so, what is it? And what should be done to permanently end the perpetration of terrorist acts by people who claim to be muslims?
The truth is that the Muslim community as a whole is not open minded and self-critical. We heterodox Muslims who have done our home work know the root of the problem lies within the traditional Muslim religious texts, but the apologists and politically correct leftists continue to delude themselves and the rest of the ignorant masses from the truth. In short, there is something about the religion recognized as Islam that cultivate and facilitate non-violent and violent extremism among mainstream Muslims.

Let me clarify, mainstream Islam is the orthodox interpretation of Quranic verses(Tafsir), oral traditions(Hadith) attributed to Muhammad and teachings of classical sages from the earliest generations of Muslims. To answer your first question, you need to sift through the corpus of orthodox Islamic text which form the body of mainstream Islam. Relying on responses from Muslims online or offline is highly misleading since most Muslims in this case either lack the decency to give a honest response or the knowledge to deliver an accurate response.

I 'll give you a few examples of teachings from these traditional Muslim texts that tend to promotes radicalism:

1. Sunan Abi Dawud>>Book of Prescribed Punishments
Narrated Mu'adh ibn Jabal:
AbuMusa said: Mu'adh came to me when I was in the Yemen. A man who was Jew embraced Islam and then retreated from Islam. When Mu'adh came, he said: I will not come down from my mount until he is killed. He was then killed. One of them said: He was asked to repent before that.

2. Jami` at-Tirmidhi » Chapters on Seeking Permission
Narrated Abu Hurairah:
that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Do not precede the Jews and the Christians with the Salam. And if one of you meets them in the path, then force them to its narrow portion."

3. Sunan Abi Dawud » Book of Prescribed Punishments
Narrated Abdullah Ibn Abbas:
A blind man had a slave-mother who used to abuse the Prophet (ﷺ) and disparage him. He forbade her but she did not stop. He rebuked her but she did not give up her habit. One night she began to slander the Prophet (ﷺ) and abuse him. So he took a dagger, placed it on her belly, pressed it, and killed her. A child who came between her legs was smeared with the blood that was there. When the morning came, the Prophet (ﷺ) was informed about it.
He assembled the people and said: I adjure by Allah the man who has done this action and I adjure him by my right to him that he should stand up. Jumping over the necks of the people and trembling the man stood up.
He sat before the Prophet (ﷺ) and said: Messenger of Allah! I am her master; she used to abuse you and disparage you. I forbade her, but she did not stop, and I rebuked her, but she did not abandon her habit. I have two sons like pearls from her, and she was my companion. Last night she began to abuse and disparage you. So I took a dagger, put it on her belly and pressed it till I killed her.
Thereupon the Prophet (ﷺ) said: Oh be witness, no retaliation is payable for her blood.
There, I leave you with the tip of the iceberg. And that lead to your third question, what is a permanent solution to weed out terrorism from among Muslims?

To start with, Muslims must acknowledge that the root of radicalism/extremism, the precursor to terrorism lies in controversial and radical teachings or principles enshrined in orthodox Islamic texts that contain orthodox exegesis of the Quran and traditions attributed to Muhammad. This is the first step in the right direction, to be followed by independent, rational and progressive re-interpretation of the Qur'an. If this first step is not taken, if Muslims continue to dwell in ignorance and denial there can be no permanent positive change.

Peace All, Be Good.
RomanceRe: Why Do Guys Expect Your Number When They Do Something Small For You by usermane(m): 4:01am On Jul 16, 2016
I don't do that. I like helping people and do not expect anything I return. That is my life & that makes me happy. I 've helped girls with stuffs ranging from school work to luggage, be they strangers or known to me. I 've found some attractive enough to consider as love interest but I never ask for their number. If out of gratitude they request for my number or give me theirs, I 'll accept. Otherwise, I move on. I help any girl because I want to help, not because I want something.

I feel 'Hi', 'How are you' etc are just polite ways of starting chats.
That is if you have something else to say beyond "Hi/how are you", if you immediately introduce a topic without waiting for the person you are texting to respond to the Hi

At Op, how to you strike a conversation with entirely unknown person you added on fb without those....
There should be something that attract or interest you in the person or something leading you to add them. You can start your conversation on that.

RomanceGuys, Quit Texting "Hi" Or "How far? " by usermane(op):
Yes, stop sending "Hi, Hello, Hey, How are you, how are you doing, how is the weekend, how far" and other similar texts and waiting for response. Those messages are boring, repetitive and indicate you are incapable of leading a interesting conversation. I mean seriously this is some of the laziest ways to get someone 's attention on social media like Whatsapp or FaceBook. You shouldn't even expect a better reply than "Hey" or "Fine" of you if Hi or How are you kind of message is all you can type and send. And that is if you even get a response. People receive numerous of these kind of opening messages daily, it doesn't grab their attention after a while, it become tiresome to read them or reply them because no one want to keep typing "fine" or "fine, and you?"

On my end I was guilty of these kinds of opening messages, but I began to find it repetitive, it felt like asking the same question whenever I met the same person. If I have something to say to a pal online, I cut right to it immediately after typing "Hi", e.g "Hi, can you recommend a movie for me?" or "Hi, passed all your exams?". No more do I send "Hi" and wait for a reply. If you don't have anything to say aside "Hi", don't text at all.

This applies to men and women. Personally, I notice most women don't even like receiving "Hi or How are you?" from men, although some text us(men) the same crap when they are probably bored and need a man to just pass time chatting with. Then they expect you to take over and drive the chat, making their day.
IslamRe: Would You Prefer To Live In An Islamic Country? by usermane(m):
I am currently in United Arab Emirate so I believe am in a good position to answer the OP. Trust me on this, there is no such thing as Islamic country, all we have are Muslim dominated countries which in many areas are the antithesis of an Islamic country. I prefer to live under a secular democracy for innumerable reasons, mostly dealing with human rights. In the following lines I will list a handful of reasons why me and the vast majority of Muslim would not like to reside in Muslim counteries.

Citizenship; Non-Muslims and Non-Arabs are not entitled for citizenship.
Internet censorship; Sites deemed anti-Islamic are blocked and I don't mean Porn sites. Dating sites, Discussion forums and Heterodox Islamic websites that counters mainstream Muslim teachings and dogmas.
Shariah Law: Apostates and blasphemers are imprisoned or killed, a thief may be amputated for stealing a bag of rice, gays and adulterers are stoned to death.
Gender segregation: I understand the need to separate genders for some reasons and under certain circumstances, the aim should not be to break contact or communication between genders. But what we have in these countries is segregation, a deliberate and rigid effort to isolate males from females and eliminate contact to the barest.
Violation of Muslim and non-Muslim right: Forcing Muslims to pay zakat, harassing those Muslims who conform to an alternate interpretation of Islam, denying Christians their right to build churches.

answers
Could you expect anything better in a society that praise "Hard to get women" and goad men to persist in the chase till they get what they want from her? And the bitter truth is, men love this. Just as women will not admit their love for "bad guys", men will not admit their love for selfish, cold and "hard to get women".

You see, men can change this trend if they wanted. If you barely know her and she never gave you her contact detail, do not call or text her.
If she always take too long(days) to respond or often never respond, then quit. Stop texting daily or even weekly, text only once in a period no less than a month just to say "Hi" as friend and expect nothing from her.
If you engage in online dating, make your choice wisely, do not just send countless "Hi" to almost any profile with raunchy photos. Read their profiles attentively and choose someone that appears responsible, mature and really out for love, not just seeking attention, sex and fun as 95% of women.

These are the rules I abide concerning chatting with women. The key is to stop spoiling women with excessive, undue and attention; only then will they appreciate your time. The more men abide by this rule, the better for dudes in the dating field.
SportsRe: Muhammad Ali's Muslim Funeral Service Begins by usermane(m): 3:56am On Jun 10, 2016
Oklander:
That said... Islamicaly, the dead is to be buried the same day he/she died.
Prophet Muhammad was not buried the day he died. Even traditional Muslim scholars attest this.

however there can be circumstance that may not allow a burial to occur the day it happened, take for instance a dead body which is not found the same day it died, that shouldn't stop an Islamic burial from been performed when finally found does it?! So in this case here, there may be a good reason for the family to delay the burial and that shouldn't stop the burial rights from been performed when he is to be buried.
Seriously, what reason passes to delay a burial? Whenever a burial is delayed by a family, they have their "good reason" for delay. Reasons which to you may be genuine and to me may be not be genuine. And vice-versa.

What you as well as the non-Muslims here fail to understand is this; For every doctrine in a religion, there are multiple, diverse interpretations and Islam is no exception. What one Muslim scholar believe to be Islam may be seen unIslamic or anti-Islamic to another scholar. This why you have Muslims who believe in 3 daily prayers rather than 5, lashing married adulterers rather than stoning to death, breaking the fast at the full dark night, rather than clear sunset. Perhaps, M. Ali or his family just didn't believe that immediate burial of the dead is a required Islamic funeral rite. That may explain why his burial has been delayed for about a week from his death.
Christianity EtcRe: Why Every Non-muslim Especially Christians Must Support Israel by usermane(m): 2:56am On Jun 08, 2016
Hi Ifeann. Been a long time. Hope u r good.

I would have agreed with your article given that I share your disdain for Shariah rule that will be instituted if traditional Muslims take over Isreal, converting it to another theocratic state like Iran or Pseudo democracy like Pakistan. However, we can't forget or deny that modern Israel is sheer occupation of Palestine. From the mass immigration of European Jews to Palestine in 1930/40s till the declaration of the state of Israel in 1948, nothing was legit. I can't drive you from your home because my religious text claims your home is my birthright. It just make no sense in the real world.

Hence, let Palestinians have their land and if they institute medieval, backward or inhumane laws, so be it.

Want to see a democracy in Middle East? Support Kurdistan and the Kurds. Kurdistan is currently occupied by Syria, Iraq, Iran and Turkey. The Kurds are at least moderate and logical enough in their religious life to build a secular democracy.
IslamRe: Antidote For Islamophobia, 'ISLAMOPHOBIN' by usermane(m): 5:05am On Jun 06, 2016
Peace

I am no "Islamophobe" because I do not consider the religion of mainstream Muslims to be Islam. In fact, I consider their religion and culture to a large extent as the antithesis of Islam, as detailed exclusively in the Qur'an. Therefore, I don't have phobia for Islam, instead it is Empiree, his posse in CAIR and a lot of his co-religionists that have phobia for Islam.

I watched the video in the OP and I see no more than mispresentation of "Islamophobes". The things that breed Islamophobes which CAIR deliberately deny is the culture of Muslims in the middle East, not beards or hijab as CAIR would have us believe.

Why does Saudi state deny freedom of belief by penalizing apostates?
Why does Iran stone adulterers and gays?
Why does Shariah punishes theft with amputation?
Why do Muslim clerics condone wife beating?
Why do Muslim schools of thought justify Female genital mutilation?
Why is Aasia Bibi in prison for allegedly insulting Muhammad?
Why do Hadith books and traditional exegesis of Qur'an condone slavery?
Why is a tyrant like Khomeini who adored by Muslims?

These are the things that bothers most Islamophobes. These are the things that CAIR would dare not discuss.

Peace
