In my opinion, for minority of people from all over world including Nigeria, TRUE LOVE exists!

People with insecurity, abusive, or no dating experiences, TRUE LOVE does not exist.

Remember that everyone is different on their own opinions, beliefs, background, culture, goes on.

In my childhood dream from reading too much children nursery stories, cinderella, snow white & 7 dwarfs, black beauty,  and romance novels goes on (even modern Shrek), I alway fanastized myself one day to get marry to hearing husband (who is love-giver, caring, supportive, hard-working family-man and accepts who I am despite of my hidden physical challenge) treats me like queen.

In a reality, I received harshly result that majority hearing men (both races) do not comfortable dating deaf women, worry about how to communicate deaf person[forgot about TODAY'S TECHNOLOGY deaf person have everything]. I THROW AWAY VAIN IMAGINATIONS and ROMANCE NOVELS, it ain't "BLACK KNIGHTS ON A BLACK HORSE" out there. 

I focus on my passionate web development/programming, other entreprenuership hobby making money, FORGET ABOUT MEN OUT THERE! I am very much independent woman for a long time!!!

Do you aware the fact that I am hearing impaired?, NO JOKE!

I already learned sign language at age 11 which is required by hearing public school and major hospital-sponsored.

Naturally, I love to sing my favorite songs where I was taught by my former hearing public school I grew up with. Love listening to music and dancing. Yes I wear my own pair of hearing aids all my life from age 3 to now. I was born hearing until 18 months old (infant) become deaf caused by wrong ear infection medicine that is designated for adult, not for infant, both cochlear damaged.

Yes, i was told by my audiologist that i was qualified for cochlear implant, because I can speak and alert picking up noise sounds. Unfortunately I turned down because I am proud to be deaf that is what God gave me UNIQUELY GOD-GIVEN GIFTS, don't want lose my TRUE PERSONALITY and TALENTED GIFTED i have.

By the way, I do have my own video files to record all songs I sing in sign language with my own voice (no music ---involved in video authoring work with my own built-in microphone webcam). So far I make two video files that contains: "God Has Always Stood By Me" and "His Eyes Is On The Sparrow". I  also have my own written gospel songs that not yet create for video files.

Finally, normally, I have no problem dating both deaf and hearing guys. I always want to have a hearing husband all my life. In a reality, it is not possible to find one. Also back 1990s, I had interviewed with a black American magazine journalist on the topic: Black Deaf American - how hard to date Black Hearing American?". Mostly black men do not comfortable dating deaf women (no matter what color)---worry about how to communicate with deaf person. I was told by online dating service I had conversed privately (IM/email) during 2-weeks free trial period 10 years ago (terminated no more)---total 77 black men turned me down for dating ---because of deaf. Can you imagine that? It hurt me lot!

I do dated few black hearing guys who either understand deaf culture or has little fingerspelling/signing RUSTY---no problem! But majority of black men, who do not know nothing about deaf culture/signing at all, rejected me. All of them black men told me that I was PERFECT WHOLE PACKAGE everything (beauty inward, personality, intelligent, understanding, humorous, multi-talented/gifted, especially entreprenuership-technology experience all they want), but not satisfied with my DEAFNESS!!!

Right now, I have a friend who is Nigeria-Ogun yoruba speaking (with English) for 7 months, where I am currently studying more understand about Nigeria and Yoruba culture, beside hidden 419/yahoo yahoo boy sites I discovered the truth about Nigeria itself.

It was his survival kit landing at the end of the river bank, he thought lost it at the river. No, I am not searching for guy. It ain't like "White Knight armour on a white horse". I also do not believe in vain imaginations---God forbids!! I used to be daydreamer!!! Now dreamer is for FOOLS!!!

In the past in my secondary school years, i was unattractive, flat-chested, flat-ass, and skinny everyone MAKE FUN OF ME so cruel. 10 years and 20 years later at my secondary school class reunion i visited, almost all guys' mouth opening so wide seeing how I turn out---NO LONGER SKINNY, NO LONGER FLAT-CHEST/ASS! Just like a children's book that i always remember the story, "The Uglying Duck". That is exact who I am, does not matter what!!!

Few guys remembered me how much I changed differently. Lot of girls including my family and  relatives---all females keep asking me what is my secret of my youth appearance.

I disagreed with your statement about not dating guy who is extremely handsome that means I am not extremely beautiful. I personally do not feel that way, i am happy with my physical look that GOD CREATES me uniquely. For myself, i have difficult receiving nice compliments that I never have before, such as "you are beautiful", it make me blush or giggling, but inside my feeling, i don't feel myself beautiful. I consider myself pretty that is good enough for me.

I don't care if this guy is Mr. Universe, movie star, singer, or celebrity, there is still slight problem of insecurity when it comes to flocks of girls surrounding him, hard to build trust and worthy in relationship.
