Yes, I have been heartbroken before, many times! I always feel sad when it comes to guy diss me for someone else in a long-term relationship more than 3 years. I feel that i don't think men finding me attractive anymore, because of marital status and hidden physical-challenge.

Yes I had been interracial dating in the past. My family has no object! I have several relatives who is currently in interracial long-term steady relationship (with cohabitation and raising children just like married couples) but I never seen them (my family/relative) are interracial marriages.

In the US there are many guys over 30s-50s still live with parent. Those guy over 30s-50s are undateable toward women, because they could not live without their moms!!!! It sounds the similar experience I had with my ex-husband that mentioned previous posting here and I agreed with Seun has said! My ex-husband does not allow me running work-at-home business making money and going back school to re-polish my web development skills---only want FULL-TIME job working for someone's else. He forbidded me doing so---my dream shattered until my divorce finalized!!!

I don't know what is the difference between clinically deaf and cultural deaf. I still struggle with both world Deaf world and Hearing world where I belong to. As of today, i never been fit in ASL socializing that insult me because they are jealous of my education and intelligent skill. Normally all deaf people's reading level are 3rd-5th graders. (ASL stands for American Sign Language)

I born hearing until age 18 months old (toddler) became deaf caused by wrong ear infection medicine that is designated for adult---my both coehlear nerve damaged. At age 3 starting preschool with deaf education including free audiology exam (hearing aids), speech therapy, and transportation that provided and sponsored by a major hospital at that time my parent were poverty (now hard-working class income). I used to be oralist cued speech until changed to sign lanuage at age 11. At age 13-22, went to deaf school residential (deaf boarding school) in Washington DC.

I am profoundly deaf with wearing  a pair of hearing aids behind the ears. Yes, I do qualified for coehlear implant by audiology---but I TURN DOWN because I am proud to be deaf that GOD CREATES ME uniquely. I do date both deaf and hearing guys, no difference.

re-read why i was such in a horrible relationship again? My mother forced me getting married him because of my deafness my mother do not believe deaf child can raise a baby ALONE. My mother was such worrywart, overprotective, and paranoid---not understand in deaf culture. No matter how many time I told my mother that i can raise my own child despite of my deafness.  She do not believe me. I have no choice!

It is very common to deaf people whom hearing parent had their rights to force deaf child to marry baby's father.

Yes, actually ex-hubby stole me from my first fiancee (4-yr high school sweetheart), ironically, my ex-fiancee dumped me for 15 yr old virgin girl upon his graduation while we already had marriage arrangement right after his graduation. I was deep heartbroken that i had not over with it. That's how then he grabbed the opportunity dating me for 3-years while i was college.

Finally at the end of my college senior year, I told bf that i want to end our relationship because I do not like his clingy, jealousy, and stingy type. I found someone else I loved very much. He was heartbroken and took revenge to get me pregnant on purpose. He thought getting married would make me to grow to love him more. That was opposite. I grew hate him because he destroyed everything I dream of having full-time job, settling down new home, etc. Reason he does not want end relationship with me, because I have my own car, place to live, and materials he saw everything that he do not have. (remember he was raised poverty in large family 4 sisters and 5 brothers)

That's how it happened!!! Even after my divorce was finalized, he still threaten me if i date new guy, he would report to the social service telling them that i was unfit mother of 2 children---he haunted me scared and low self-esteem for 8 years. Finally i have great courage myself not afraid of him anymore, JUST EXACTLY YOU SEE the movie "Woman Thou Art Loosed" made by Bishop T. D. Jakes!

Let me share my past marriage I was in your shoe---feel lost, unwanted love, low self-esteem, confused and scared. That was 19 years ago from this year. Getting married him was not my fault, that was forced by my mother to stay out of wedlock but i did not love him.

Seeking marriage counselor under my husband's sake in order to save the marriage does not work out well, therefore; I decided to file for divorce on the ground of cruel harsh verbal abusive loveless incompatible 5-years marriage (irreconcilable difference).

My ex-husband was jealousy, controllable, stingy, Mr. Know-it-all type, reckless hot-temper, workaholic, egostic, sex manic and compulsive gambling addict. He never come home to sleep with me---only 4 hours sleep and get up ready to work---lack of communication, leaving me cold in bed. I was the one struggling to raise my children at that time i had job, going to pick up children from daycare, come home to do housechore, and at bedtime i was extremely tired.

Ex-hubby commanded telling me what to do, refused to help me out when my children were baby for changing diapers, feeding them, etc to take turn that i need some sleep ready for work the next day. (remember he was not home after work at 3pm until 3am in the morning grabbing only 4 hours sleep to get up ready to work next day---hang out with coworkers in the bar).

Everyday he yelled at my face (my children were not present) calling me bad names even call me "SLUT". I was loyally faithful married wife for 5 YEARS---make no sense in marriage. We always argued about money issues that he refused to compromise on financial obligations for 5 years.  He spent whole his paycheck in cash before giving me money for financial obligations. He always FLATLY BROKE asking me for my money. We had been evicted twice! Electric and water were cut off. No food/clothes to buy for family. I CANNOT TOLERATE this marriage.

Finally 5 years later, my mother saw what kind of man my husband was and regret that she NEVER FORCED me to marry wrong guy---BECAUSE OF MY DEAFNESS. Not fair to my sister who is hearing, does not get married when she was in wedlock. She paid for my divorce paperwork. I now am 14 years divorced mother of children at age 14 and 19---very much happy independent celibacy myself. My ex-husband currently has long-term illness (cancer---3 organs medically surgery removal) He is only 40 years old even though he does not smoke or drink.

Yes, he is still scary after finding out about his cancer 2 years ago. He already sat down talking to me face to face asking me for his forgiveness letting me know that i have nothing wrong in marriage!!! Because he thought that I was like those women (gold-digger, and materialist) and I would grow to love him more after marriage, but I am very opposite---humble, conserved, quiet, humorous and open-minded person. He grew up in a city welfare family being poor all his life. I grew up in a small rural farming being hard-working class humble Christianity life. He is mixed catholic/baptist--not go church regularly and I am baptist---i do go church regularly. We are different people!!!

@ihujumbo, I ask you please find your courage to talk to your husband to work out the marriage---do not make the same mistake I had suffered in the past!  Too many divorced single women out there that most men do not want to date with. I was one of them---unwanted dating. Go back seeking your church marriage counselor to overcome your fear and feeling---don't let DEMONS attack you in the name of JESUS CHRIST!!!
