Politics / Re: Nigeria's Current Leadership Has Lost Focus, Vision - IBB by Utchman1: 9:58am On Aug 15, 2018
samfuntua:
considering the achievement of IBB in office, he has the moral right to make the comment he made.
in nine years of his government he was able to build third mainland bridge from start to finish, he build ASO Rock Villa, National Secretariat in fact must of what is called Abuja today is build by him and finally he failed woefully to handover power to democratically elected leader ABIOLA.

People like you are the problem. If he does not build them, who would? Is it with his private money? After he built them, he then kept $8bn to himself. I clap for you and him.

Politics / Re: It Will Be Disastrous, If PDP Fails To Give Me The Ticket~ Alhaji Atiku Abubakar by Utchman1: 7:52am On Jul 31, 2018
NgeneUkwenu:
Segun Showunmi, spokesman of the Atiku Abubakar Campaign Organisation, has revealed that it would be disastrous if the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) fails to field his principal as its candidate in the 2019 presidential election.

Showunmi said Atiku deserved the presidential ticket of the PDP because he had been deeply involved in the Nigeria’s political system and understands the peculiarity of the nation’s democracy very good.

According to him, Atiku had built consensus, and is a nationalist that has the ears of the people, adding that he remained the only person who could give President Buhari a run for his money.

Speaking with Daily Sun on why Nigerians should queue behind Atikun in 2019, Showunmi said, “There are many Nigerians but he has unique political qualities that distinguished him from others. Many of the aspirants cannot generate exciting emotions outside of their zone. Some of them are just looking at presidency like ambition; they cannot articulate what they want to do with the opportunity. Nigeria needs a leader that has a global reputation.

“Atiku is obviously better than other aspirants including the opposition aspirants. He has a bigger vision for Nigeria. None of the Presidential aspirants could challenge Buhari in the 2019 election and succeed.

” Atiku is the only person that could do that. It will be unwise for PDP to bring an unpopular candidate to challenge the incumbent President. That would be disastrous. He is open to fresh ideas and he believes that all the tribes should bring ideas to the discussion table so we could collectively and extensively discuss and appease all worrying factions.”

when they leave power those who will come after them should also do same to the above mentioned name. at the end of the day it will be a win win situation for the common man.

Abeg you get sense. Call it whatever it is, APC wouldn't remain in power forever, so when another party takes over let them do same, at the end of the day Nigeria benefits.

Call it selective or not, at least there is a corruption fight. The last administration did not do anyone.

Nigeria's problem is not about North or South.

If a Northerner has a reason to criticise Buhari let him how ahead.

Standing5:

1) They invest well during the years of excess.
2) They were and are less corrupt.
3) Their cost of producing crude oil is lowest (less than $10) while ours is average of $28.99. This alone means that at $30pb of crude in intl market they can stay afloat while we can't.
These are the three major reasons they aren't in recession.

You did not add that they had over 700 billion dollars in foreign reserves before dip in oil price.

I hope the refineries won't be sited in the far North where they ll rely on a thousand kilometer pipeline to get crude oil supply, this is a welcome development, better than the conventional refineries.

So if they are all sited in the South, how will the North get their own supply of fuel?

#OCCUPYINGMINDS: #NIGERDELTAMILITANTS...Every time a Crude Flow Station is Destroyed by Militants in the Niger Delta, The Environment is Damaged; Our Land is Polluted and Our Communities are subjected to more hardships...Let the Bombing Continue, who will loose?...The Government of PMB is dragging the Nigerian Economy away from Crude Oil; Lagos State has Joined the League of Oil Producing State and the Northern Part of Nigeria whose Reserves have been Cynically suppressed over the Year will begin production within the next couple of months or within the next two years...

With time, We from the Niger Delta would have destroyed our Lands so much that future generation will curse us, their Fathers and Mothers for killing their dreams. Let the Stupidity Continue my People...Don't stop the blowing up of pipelines.

Everyone of us thinks that a Blown Pipeline is an attack on PMB and His Government of Change...Insanity on display I must say. Kano and Lagos are Leading the way in Tomatoes Paste Production and Tomatoes don dey scarce shebi? The Northern Landmass alone is about 4 times the entire Landmass of the SS and the SE; Agriculture will revolutionize the North within the next decade...We from the Niger Delta will use our Oil to sock Garri and we think we are punishing Nigeria? Think Again, but Kontinu.

I have been reliably informed, that the More Pipeline we blow-up, the more the Resolve of this President to get the Nigerian Economy off oil...The More the Presidency block loopholes; The More the desire for alternative Revenue; The More the Nigerian People get pissed off by our Stupidity.

The Future is Lost to the Greedy, Selfish Demons of Today. Blow Pipelines if you can, Nigeria is moving on. We have a President who is capable of making the hard decisions and willing to firmly sustain those hard choices. Blow Pipelines abeg. Let Nigeria Suffer and Let our land be wasted. Kontinu killing your own future by your own hands.
WEEP NOT FOR THE NIGER DELTA!!!
OUR ENEMIES ARE WITHIN!!!

Nice write up. I only blame Yaradua for starting amnesty in the first place.

It is better we suffer now and put the militants where they belong.

FG should build camps at strategic places all over the region.

Since they want to die.

Someone should educate me, What crime did the MD commit? He's a banker, its his job to take money to keep and disburse when needed. You can't arrest a man for doing his legal duty.

It is the duty of the bank to report any transaction in excess of 10000000 naira to EFCC - that the bank did not do.

Another is that the money was not paid into any account. It was received and shared in cash - that is money laundering.
