Mutuwa:

Except..
Akpomejevwe Nyemachi Tedheke #OCCUPYINGMINDS: #NIGERDELTAMILITANTS...Every time a Crude Flow Station is Destroyed by Militants in the Niger Delta, The Environment is Damaged; Our Land is Polluted and Our Communities are subjected to more hardships...Let the Bombing Continue, who will loose?...The Government of PMB is dragging the Nigerian Economy away from Crude Oil; Lagos State has Joined the League of Oil Producing State and the Northern Part of Nigeria whose Reserves have been Cynically suppressed over the Year will begin production within the next couple of months or within the next two years...
With time, We from the Niger Delta would have destroyed our Lands so much that future generation will curse us, their Fathers and Mothers for killing their dreams. Let the Stupidity Continue my People...Don't stop the blowing up of pipelines.
Everyone of us thinks that a Blown Pipeline is an attack on PMB and His Government of Change...Insanity on display I must say. Kano and Lagos are Leading the way in Tomatoes Paste Production and Tomatoes don dey scarce shebi? The Northern Landmass alone is about 4 times the entire Landmass of the SS and the SE; Agriculture will revolutionize the North within the next decade...We from the Niger Delta will use our Oil to sock Garri and we think we are punishing Nigeria? Think Again, but Kontinu.
I have been reliably informed, that the More Pipeline we blow-up, the more the Resolve of this President to get the Nigerian Economy off oil...The More the Presidency block loopholes; The More the desire for alternative Revenue; The More the Nigerian People get pissed off by our Stupidity.
The Future is Lost to the Greedy, Selfish Demons of Today. Blow Pipelines if you can, Nigeria is moving on. We have a President who is capable of making the hard decisions and willing to firmly sustain those hard choices. Blow Pipelines abeg. Let Nigeria Suffer and Let our land be wasted. Kontinu killing your own future by your own hands. WEEP NOT FOR THE NIGER DELTA!!! OUR ENEMIES ARE WITHIN!!! Nice write up. I only blame Yaradua for starting amnesty in the first place. It is better we suffer now and put the militants where they belong. FG should build camps at strategic places all over the region. Since they want to die. |

martyns303: Someone should educate me, What crime did the MD commit? He's a banker, its his job to take money to keep and disburse when needed. You can't arrest a man for doing his legal duty. It is the duty of the bank to report any transaction in excess of 10000000 naira to EFCC - that the bank did not do. Another is that the money was not paid into any account. It was received and shared in cash - that is money laundering. |

jerseyboy: Soyinka's support for Buhari in 2015 was perplexing for a man of letters. So many were blinded by hatred for Jonathan that they failed to see clearly that they were marching us back to the Egypt of our Fulani internal colonial masters. And who says he still does not support Buhari? If criticism is necessary or needed to stair a leader to the wright direction you can do that. The problem is what he does with it. |

Pennyways: The so called monorail has nothing to contribute to the Economy of Rivers State, neither will it bring succor to our pains. The mono rail is of the cheap tools which the so called ameachi uses to scam and loot Rivers State treasury. No great citizen of Rivers State will support that 25 meters length monorail project that him (ameachi) wasted a huge Rivers fortune except is Apc co. I advise Gov. Wike to target other projects and fix the broken state Ameachi left behind. Rivers state throughout ameachi eight years administration was a disaster and a broken vessel. The roads in GRA axis of P/hacourt are wash away by erosions. Now he is the mirage minister of of transport he can make his monorail a fedral project, contruct it to Aba in Abia State perhaps to Enugu State. This gonna be very useful not only for the great people of Rivers state, but to numerous Nigerians that gonna apply the route and they gonna thank him for that. If not, then he should remain silent and let our visionary governor (unlike him) to transform the broken state he left behind. When I read comments like this, it clear that Rivers state us in trouble. U feel it is better to throw away the funds sunk into the project already? Well understand that that monorail is not for Amaechi. |

Thanks for this article. Only the corrupt and ignorant would not see what situation we have been left in by the ineffective buffon.
Yaradua left our foreign reserve at $67b with oil selling for less than $100 pb then Jonathan reduced it to $29b after selling oil for over $100 pb over a 6 year period. |
Politics › Re: I Won’t Touch Amaechi’s Rivers Monorail- Wike by Utchman1: 6:32pm On Mar 28, 2016 |
jamace: It is not party issue but the viability of the project. Do you know how much has been sunk into that project yet it is no where near completion? The project has gulped N35b yet in that scrappy state. So the 35b should be thrown away? I think that decision is more wasteful. |
Politics › Re: I Won’t Touch Amaechi’s Rivers Monorail- Wike by Utchman1: 6:27pm On Mar 28, 2016 |
PRYCE: Yes don't touch it!
That monorail project is the biggesr scam project I've ever seen. Can you imagine $400m already spent with nothing to show for it.
See, Dasukigate doesn't even touch this!
And tha lizard from Ubima says he doesn't like money! Issorite! Let's assume it is over-qouted like Wike and most Rivers people believe. Are we now saying that the money spent on it already should be thrown away? Which one us more wasteful? That project will help develop Rivers state and it does not belong to Amaechi nor Wike. Please Wike should do the rest of the job and expose Amaechi with how much it costs to complete. Governance is all about continuity. My opinion though. |

Where there is no light, no fuel, job losses, Fulani killings, dollar is 305 to naira, he travels too often, investors fleeing the country, businesses are shutting down... refineries are in comatose.
This is the best Buhari can come up with.

There is no doubt the price of crude oil has had an adverse effect on our economy. Go and check the oil companies. Existing contracts are being cut by as much as 40%.
Blame should go to the governments that led us in the past for not diversifying the economy and not saving for rainy days like these.
Go and find out why Saudi Arabia is not much hit. |
