HealthEasy Step To Take To Make You Sleep Without Pills by utenwuson(op): 1:34pm On Sep 12, 2013
Do you have trouble falling asleep or staying asleep? There are some steps that can be taken to help you fall asleep and stay asleep without taking sleeping pills. Not only can sleeping pills become addictive, they are bad for your health. Below are ways to help you fall asleep without having to take pills.
1. Drink a warm glass of milk, and a cookie about an hour before sleep. The combination will relax you, and assist you to sleep without any pills at all. Warm milk is soothing, It has a special, mildly sleep-inducing ingredient in it as well.
2. Make sure you do not drink caffeine soda, coffee, or even certain teas at dinner time, especially within 4 hours of bedtime.
3. Exercise regularly, eat healthy. Allow the exercise and diet to help dissipate your daily stresses. Stress is why most otherwise healthy people feel that they "need" sleeping pills in the first place.
4. Put a soothing, relaxation CD on repeat and very low volume, as very very quiet and soothing background noise.
5. Get of bed. Do something else for 30 or 60 minutes out of bed until you’re really feeling tired. Just make sure it’s not something too stimulating or involving bright light.
5. Meditate. If you’d rather quiet your mind but leave your muscles out of it, a simple mindfulness meditation may also do the trick. Meditation can help fight insomnia. Even some deep breathing can help clear your mind and better prepare you for sleep.
6Take A Warm Bath. A soothing soak really can help you get to sleep.
7. Do Yoga. As a form of mind-quieting physical activity, yoga may just be the best of two worlds. If your sleep problem is that you’re unable to relax, yoga could be a way to intervene. We do know that yoga does wonders for relaxation.
8. Make a few simple changes to your bedroom to make it as comfortable as possible.
9. Switch To Herbal Tea. Caffeine’s a no-no, but caffeine-free herbal tea may actually help you sleep. Many “Sleepy Time” teas are made from the same compounds used in supplements that promote sleep, like valerian or chamomile.
10. Quit Smoking. Like caffeine, nicotine is also a stimulant, and may lead to sleep disturbances during the night.

In those days, you can't eat your cake and have it, but these days you can eat your cake and have it FULL....Oh yes!!! Chika Esumobi (not real name), a 20-year old undergraduate at the University of Abuja, recently tested the limits of the wisécrack. And now acccording to ouramébos, the new hymén is gaining ground among abuja babés.
Originally produced by Asian séx toy company Gigímodo, an interesting toy sometimes called a ‘designer hymén’ is sold at $30 (N4800) per piece on its website and shipped in by retailers who then sell for between N9, 000 to N15, 000.
Plastíc and shaped like a sac, it is a flat object thatéxpands to fit when placed inside the hóneypot, leakíng an optímal quantity of a blood-like liquid, after pénile préssure, thus símulating the act déflowering. It is meant to be insérted about 15 minutes before séxualíntercourse, with hands washed clean.

PoliticsEXPOSE!!! Why Nigerians Must Not Vote Gej Come 2015 by utenwuson(op): 5:31am On Sep 04, 2013
Chief Femi Fani-Kayode has been in the eye of the storm sincethe deportation of some Igbo from Lagos to Anambra State. The former Minister of Aviation has been critical of the Goodluck Jonathan administration which, he said, has performed abysmally. In this first part of the explosive interview, Fani-Kayode speaks on his trial, the Olusegun Obasanjo administration, 2015 elections, security challenge and other salient issues. It is vintage Femi Fani-Kayode. Excerpts:
How is life out of government and what are those things you are actually missing?
I do not miss being out of government. I have served my country for four years at the highest level and it is good enough.
Recently, the President’s spokesman described some of you that worked with the Obasanjo administration who are critical of the Goodluck Jonathan administration as yesterday’s men. Do you see yourself as a man of yesterday?
The essay was written by my friend and brother, Dr. Reuben Abati, who is President Jonathan’s spokesman. I responded tohim forcefully in an essay titled; ‘Hypocrisy of today’s men.’
And what he doesn’t realise or people don’t realise is that there is no yesterday’s men in politics. It is only if you are a political novice that you can make such a statement. Yesterday’s men often come back to rule the country and today’s men never last forever; they always go and they may come back again. For instance, Alhaji Bamanga Tukur is the chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP. He was governor of defunct Gongola State in 1979.
He was a yesterday’s man for many years but he is back today and I am delighted about that. So, to describe anybody as yesterday’s man, I think is most inappropriate and naive. You look at Chief Tony Anenih, he was National Chairman of the Social Democratic Party, SDP, in 1993 and now he is Chairman of the PDP Board of Trustees. Look at Alhaji UmaruDikko, Minister of Transport in 1979 and he is now the Chairman of the PDP Disciplinary Committee.
Look at President Obasanjo himself. He was Head of State from 1976 to 1979, was sent to prison in 1996 and came out to become President again in 1999. He remained as President till 2007 and not only that, he is the one that put both President Yar’Adua and President Goodluck Jonathan in power.
So, in a situation where such things happen, to write people off and disdainfully say they are yesterday’s men as if they are dead and they have nothing more to offer does not make sense. As far as I am concerned, such assertions are inappropriate and most unwise. It is only God that knows anddetermines tomorrow. You don’t have to be in government tocontribute. I am sure that my friend and brother Reuben Abati will learn that once he leaves office himself.
Some of you that served in the Obasanjo administration are somehow critical ofJonathan administration. What really informed your criticisms?
There are so many issues. What it tells you is that some of us who worked in Obasanjo’s government, not all but some, are more sensitive to what is happening in our country.
Ours is not just like come to serve the government and leave as if we must never talk again. As far as I am concerned, government is not a cult and political parties are not cults. The whole reason for getting involved in politics is to help to develop your country and to move it forward. The reason why we can talk is because the administration that we servedhad an excellent record of performance.
If you look at the statistics, facts and figures, nobody comes close to Obasanjo in terms of his performance, be it in the economy, security or anything else. All you need to do is to dothe research.
You may not like him as an individual but you can’t fault him in terms of his record of performance. And we raised Nigeriato such a high level in terms of respect and achievement at that time. Within a space of eight years, Obasanjo did all this and he gathered the brightest and smartest cabinet that this country has ever known. His record in public office was excellent and the country was taken to a very high level in terms of economic performance and so many other areas between 1999 and 2007.
Now, when you see a situation where post-2007 till today has witnessed nothing but total degeneration in every sector, whether it be the economy, security, international affairs or anything else. Are we supposed to just sit down and keep quiet in such a situation and say nothing or are we supposed to speak up and encourage the government to do better?
Some of us felt it is important to speak out so that the government can do better. That is why I am critical and I believe that every true patriot ought to be critical if government is getting it wrong and not doing well.
You said Obasanjo performed very well while in office but this is contrary to some critics who felt that his eight years were wasted years?
They are ignorant. Anybody that says Obasanjo’s eight years were a waste is ignorant and I really don’t have time for suchpeople. Forget about Obasanjo as an individual, look at his record of performance. How can any sensible person say he did nothing?
Look, in 1999 when he came in, we had $1.5 billion in the foreign reserve and by the time this man left office he had built up the amount to $67 billion. He took $20 billion out of that to pay off our foreign debt, leaving $47 billion. From $1.5billion to $67 billion in eight years is quite an achievement.
Yet today, despite the huge amounts of money that we have made as a consequence of record high crude oil and gas prices and sales, we only have approximately $40 billion left in our foreign reserves five years after. We have less money in those reserves today than we did five years ago despite thefact that we have earned billions of dollars within those five years.
That is hardly fiscal discipline and the question that we have asked our government, and we are still waiting for an answer, is where has all that money gone? We were not the only ones that asked that question.
The Prime Minister of Great Britain, Mr. David Cameron, asked the same question and put it rather bluntly by saying that the Nigerian government would have to tell the G8 where the hundreds of millions of dollars that it had made from crude oil sales in the last few years had gone. He even gave them a deadline for an answer which was June 2013.
Needless to say our President and his government just ignored him. Number two, when he came into power in 1999,we had a foreign debt of $33 billion. But by the time Obasanjo left, we had no debt left. For the first time in the history of Africa we had a debt free country. We were set free from the economic slavery that comes with being indebted to the Western monetary agencies and the Bretton Woods institutions and that was a wonderful thing. It had never happened before. Obasanjo achieved that.
Yet today, five years later, we are back in debt to the tune of approximately $10 billion and we are still borrowing. That is hardly progress and this government has thereby enslaved future generations of Nigerians to economic servitude and bondage to the western powers and international monetary institutions.
They have squandered all of Obasanjo’s gains in this respect and sold us down the river. That is hardly progress. Thirdly, look at the Excess Crude Account, ECA. When Obasanjo came into power in 1999 there was no ECA. He created it and by the time he left office in 2007 he left $24 billion in that account.
He built all that money up in the space of eight years. Yet fiveyears later, despite all the money we have made from oil sales, our present government and Yar’Adua’s one that came before it, proved to us that they are incapable of saving any money for a rainy day because that account has been depleted and virtually emptied. Five years after $24 billion was left there, we only have approximately $9 billion in it today. That is hardly progress. Fourthly, look at the issue of power generation.
When Obasanjo came into office in 1999 we were generating 1,500 megawatts per year and there had been no development in the power sector for almost 20 years previous to that time. By the time he left office in 2007, eight years later, we were generating 4,500 megawatts per year.
Today, five years later, we are back to 3,000 megawatts per year. As a matter of fact, no government has been able to reach the same level of power generation that Obasanjo reached in 2007 when he left office. Instead of improving on what Obasanjo did they went the other way and brought power generation down. From 1,500 megawatts in 1999 to 4,500 megawatts in 2007 and up until today no government has reached that 4,500 megawatts which we achieved in 2007. I repeat today, five years later, we are still on 3,000 megawatts.
That is not what I would describe as progress. It is better described as retrogression of the highest order. Let us go back to the economy. In terms of inflation, interest rates, ordinary individual being able to get loan, unemployment, we are worse off today than we were five years ago. You see when people talk they don’t have the facts and figures and they are too lazy or blinded by prejudice and hate to do their homework and find out the truth. Let us look at it, today we have an 80 per cent graduate unemployment

CelebritiesWe Shouldn't Have Gotten Married, Katherine Edoho Tells It All by utenwuson(op): 3:06pm On Aug 28, 2013
In an interview with TheNetng, Who Wants To Be A Millionaire’ host Frank Edoho’s wife, Katherine Obiang, talked about her 7-year old marriage to Frank. Read below:
How are your kids?
They are great.
And how are they taking the whole divorce issue?
We are not really divorced. It’s still a work-in-progress kind of thing but we are taking it well. When its time for him to see the children, he does and when its time to return them, he does. On my part, I
have carried the children along and make them understand they are not stained because of it. I wouldn’t want them to develop a complex because of it. We didn’t design for these things to happen but they do. It’s like people who have lost their parents, they didn’t plan for it but they have to move on. I watch them and I think they are doing pretty okay especially because we talk about it every time there is a reason to.
You mentioned that you aren’t really divorced. Does that suggest possibility of reconciliation?
No, it doesn’t. We just started the process but there isn’t any hope for reconciliation. We know we would always be in each other’s lives because of the children, so we have to be civil. When the children are getting married for example, we have to hide our differences and make it work.
What if he (Frank) came back, would you consider it?
No. Three years have gone by. It will be a whole entire process of knowing somebody all over again and I don’t havethe energy to do that. We’ve let it burn and I don’t think he will do that.
Do you sometimes miss him?
He had such a great sense of humor. I don’t know if he still does. His sense of music too, being a radio presenter, and weused to exchange thoughts on things regarding that, but otherwise, I don’t miss him in that nostalgic way of…It’s a part of my life I have come to terms with. I am a solution oriented person. He was part of my life for more than 10 years (dated for four years and got married for 7 years).
Looking back at everything, do you wish you never got separated?
No, I think Frank and I should not have gotten married in thefirst place. We should just have been friends because he wasan awesome friend. While I was dating someone else and he had to go back to his country, he (Frank) was there all through and I had known him all the while he was in the University of Calabar and we started our career together. I think we shouldn’t have pushed it to marriage and just stayed as friends.
Any regrets about that?
No. I have three lovely kids to show for it and of course, every thing happens for a reason and a purpose. They can only make us better or stronger people and it has done so forme. I have grown from what went wrong.
What is usually the cause of the fight?
I think it’s impatience, anger and not knowing how to deal with issue in the now, so you react before you think. It goes like, ‘huh, how dare you say this to me…is that what you will say?’ I can’t remember any one in particular, it has been long now, I have moved on and it’s not a thing that can happen to me again but I always say no matter what, a man should not raise his hands on a woman. A woman should alsonot goad a man too much. It takes nothing from the man whowalks away because once he hits a woman; he starts to think it is justifiable. Unfortunately, we are in a society where we have friends that will give you thumbs up for doing that. A man should be calmer and not react on the now.
Are you making efforts to ensure that your son isn’t wrongly influenced by this?
I have a son and I talk to him all the time. I let him know he must be there to protect his sister. They should look at him and feel safe with him and he knows that. The girls also pushhim and I caution them, so it’s a balance.
Were you hit by the rumors of his recent marriage?
I didn’t want to believe he was because we are still married (legally). We are not divorced, so I didn’t see how that was possible and didn’t loose sleep over it. I’m not asking him notto go on with his life but things should be done properly. We are separated for three years and now in the divorce process. If he found happiness and love, then I’m happy for him.
Will you be trying your hands on marriage again?
You just never know.
If you would, what kind of man would he be?
You come to a point in your life where you can’t afford to do things out of adrenaline but with great thought. It would be a more mature person, someone who is calm and has a fine sense of how life should be. Someone who is mature, wise and seen life and the ways of the world and knows what he is doing at every time.
When you think about all that has happened, does it bring tears to your eyes?
No, I feel a sense of disappointment instead especially now when the children come home with questions that I need a man to answer, if he (their father) were around. For example, someone to be there for my son at a time when he is writing his common entrance examination. It’s a feeling ofdisappointment, but you know, we have to rise above them and you go on.
What was your reaction the very first time it happened?
I’m like these things happen in marriages but we think of reconciliation and getting families involved. It is your first trial in marriage and nobody gives a guideline about how things are going to be.
Apart from being part of the Project Alert, what other steps have you taken to help women who are battling with domestic violence?
I talk to them but in the end, I let them know, the decision is theirs. A friend of mine was involved in this and after we talk, she will go back to him. No matter what platform there is, it rests on the individual. It is what I have arrived at. I stillshare my story when I have the chance to.

RomanceThe Alarming Rate Of Leak Nude Photos/video Of Naija Ladies by utenwuson(op): 2:44pm On Aug 22, 2013
The recent incident involving current Miss UNIZIK (Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka), whose private pictures allegedly surfaced online, has again elicited reactions about a scandal that is fast becoming a trend among the youths.
The private pictures which were first posted on the UNIZIK student blog, Campus Amebo, went viral on the social networking sites as tongues were kept wagging.
Though the slender and light complexioned lady has not made an official statement about the leak, different accounts were given.
While one school of thought claimed the pictures were leaked by her male friend whom she had a misunderstandingwith, another school of thought claimed that it was the mischief of her ex-boyfriend whom she jilted for another.
Quite similar is the recent case of a 27-year old driver, Henry Aiyenero, who was arraigned before the Apapa Magistrate Court in Lagos for allegedly having s éx with his girlfriend, Thelma Lawrence, a 23-year old Lagos State Polytechnic and uploading her nude photos on the Internet.
Although Thelma claimed they were just friends but was lured to his house where he allegedly threatened her with a knife and forced her to strip herself after which, he had his way with her and took the nude shots.
On why he posted the photos on the net even after sleeping with her, she disclosed that Aiyenero told he decided to punish her for refusing to sleep with him after pleading with her for a long time.
Aiyenero on the hand admitted that he recorded and took her nude photographs but claimed he was not the person that posted it on the Internet, even though he did threaten her that he would place it on the net.
Above are a few examples of recent cases in Nigeria, where girls as young as 16 have their nak éd pictures posted on social networks such as Facebook, Twitter, 2go, blogs etc.
Leaking nude pictures of an ex-lover on the net which goes viral has become trendy for the new generational lovers. This act is usually carried out by the male as an act of revenge on the female for putting a strain on the relationship.
The act of leaking nude pictures of a female may look strangein the African setting but it is obviously borrowed from the western nation which comes as a result of the so-called modernity. Celebrities as Rihanna, Paris Hilton, Amber Rose and even the Duchess of England, Kate Middleton have at onetime had their nude photos leaked.
With the emergence of social network, s éxting also emerged, taking the central stage of focus for most discussions especially between two unknown friends. The demand for a nude photo of one of the friends, usually the female, is either followed with an affirmative or a negative response.
Most times these pictures sent to the other party are releasedto several other friends to view. The demand for such pictures by an unknown friend is usually due to a request by the other party, most times monetary request.
An instance is the infamous story of a young girl whose nud épictures were released by a male friend on 2go whom she sent her photos to in request for some amount of money. It was said that he asked for her nud épictures before he could help her with the money.
After sending the pictures to him, he also gave his friends the pleasure of viewing them, after which it was over the net.
Although, they never knew each other personally but most persons threw the blames at the girl in need.
The question is why do males leak nud épictures of their ex-lovers? Could it be a way of showing their hurt? Could it be a way of boosting their egos after the break up? Or is it a way of getting back at their ex?
However, digital technologies, especially, the common blackberry phones have now made it possible for the users tosend and receive such pictures just by pressing some buttons on the keypad, hence, simplifying the whole process.
Ayodeji Victor, 21-year-old undergraduate said, “Some guys do such to humiliate the girl, especially if she hurts him whilethey were in a relationship, but whatever the case might be, releasing such pictures is totally uncalled for and highly immature.
“Although that is stupidity on the part of the girl if she freely and willingly takes unclad shots of herself and sends it to someone else, whether in an affair with the person or not. Onthe part of the guy, he is partially a fool for posting it on the net.
“The action of the guy in question is defamatory under the law and should be punished as constituted.”
Similarly, Ogechukwu Uzondu, a hairstylist said, “These days what we have are juveniles claiming to be into relationship. Moreover, these advanced technologies have made it very easy for one to post every meaningless thing on the Internet and before you know it the whole world is tuned in to it.
“Tell me, if it would have been easy for someone to go to newspaper house or a television station to ask for space to exhibit his or her follies? All one needs to do is just to sit in a comfort zone; then every other thing is history.
“Aside being under duress, I don’t think a right thinking, mature lady should take such pictures or allow anyone else to, even if they are romantically involved. The males too are not mature in mind for them leak such pictures to the world. Haba! that is not right even if she offended him.
“What profit does the guy get after doing so? He just ends up disgracing himself and the girl. It is such an irrational act. And I think the guy should be punished under the law, while the girl should be severely flogged if she freely took the nud épictures.”
Speaking on the issue, a police officer who claimed anonymity said “It is morally wrong to post a nud épicture of someone on the net.
“This situation can be likened to defamation of character and such a person behind the act should be prosecuted; although the term on which such person would be charged is determined by the court.
“There are some special forces within the police force charged with the responsibility of raiding unsuspecting cybercafé to limit the rate of cyber crimes such as this. The INTERPOL is an example of such special force.
“However, in order to put a stop to this menace, the offended party should report it and allow the law to take its due course.”
Pastor Ugwumba Nwagu of Jesus World Ministry, Satellite Town said “Christ from creation does not mean for humans tobe wicked. He is a merciful God. Even in the book of John 17, Christ said what my Father gave me, I gave unto you. Therefore, the leakage of such picture is a wicked act and condemnable.
“God did not also mean for man to be nak éd that was why Heclothed Adam and Eve after they ate the forbidden fruit and realised they were nak éd. Judging by this, the girls should never have taken such pictures in the first place and the boy should never have exposed what ought to be in private to the public for they are both destroying the image of God which we are all made of. Only animals should be nak éd.
“As an ordained pastor and as a man of God I say that such actis condemnable. Even the act of lying with animals is also condemnable. If were to be in the time of old, they would have been stoned to death.”
RomanceAmerican Celebrate' No Bra Day' by utenwuson(op): 2:30pm On Aug 22, 2013
Some women resent the fact that society decided that they need to be strapped in.
Last month, when the United States celebrated its independence from England, women across the country celebrated their independence of their own bodies, from bras.
That's right. “National No Bra Day”, is a fact that was inconveniently discovered by people leaving their houses. Although our garments are normally attached, we are still ways to go to celebrate the right to bare brèasts or less. As the “National No Bra Day” Facebook page states, "bőobies arefantastic we all think so. What better way to express what wefeel, than supporting a full day of freedom from bras?
"We are on board of “National No Bra Day”, because if they are large or small, functional or completely foreign, or even if they fit perfectly, bras can be really annoying. Sometimes you just have to go braless.
"Therefore lose the underwear, let your brèasts go and have a look at your favorite celebrity, who also goes braless just for National No Bra Day," the website states.
PoliticsShekau Death.....resident Live In Fear Over Revenge by utenwuson(op): 10:45am On Aug 22, 2013
The Federal Government has placed some states in the North on a comprehensive security surveillance following intelligence reports that some members of the Boko Haram Islamic sect may avenge the death of their leader, Abubakar Shekau.
Also, National Mirror learnt last night that the action became necessary to forestall any breach of the peace by hoodlums who might want to perpetrate violent crimes in the name of the sect.
“As I speak to you now, our men have been placed on the alert. Some states considered as flashpoints are also under strict surveillance because we know that some of the fleeing insurgents may want to launch more vicious attacks in order to restate their relevance,” said a senior operative of the State Security Service, SSS, who would not want his name mentioned.
The Joint Task Force, JTF, in Maiduguri had on Monday said that Shekau might have died due to fatal injuries he sustained in a clash with government forces.
Some of the states that are currently under renewed surveillance are those in the North-East and others, includingKano, Sokoto, Kaduna and Niger. Curiously, Kogi also made the list.
There has been no official confirmation of the emergency security measures as the police said such measures would be covert.
Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Abubakar, had in an earlier chat with journalists in Abuja stated that those strategies would not be disclosed.
Apart from series of ongoing undercover operations involving most of the security agencies, there would also be an increased deployment of troops in the states under focus, “as their presence is likely to deter crime”.
RomanceSigns U Are Dating Å Married Man!!! by utenwuson(op): 10:38am On Aug 22, 2013
Think you've found the perfect man but some things just aren't adding up? Is he a bit of a mystery? Here are tips for recognizing the signs that a man you're dating may be married.
1.You met in a bar.
If you are meeting for the first time in a bar, that doesn't bode well. So many married men hang out in bars hoping to get lucky.
2.He has an indentation or tan line on his ring finger.
When you first meet him, look for an obvious sign of a wedding ring that was just removed.
3.He pays for dinners and drinks in cash.
This could be because he doesn't want a paper trail or credit card bust from his wife.
4.He has more than one cell phone and won't give you both phone numbers.
One is for his wife, and one is for his secret life. Also note if he always goes outside to take private calls when he's with you.
5.He tends to call you while at the store, walking the dog, getting gas places he's dashed out to in order to call.

Christianity EtcSome Men Rape Their Wifes....by Apostle Egbede by utenwuson(op): 12:24pm On Aug 11, 2013
General Overseer of Faith Revival Apostolic Church, Egbeda, Lagos Apostle Paul Taiwo Adenuga does not mince words. He says it according to his conviction. Take this from him: “Thereis a message I can regard as my favourite, it is titled: “Holy Raping”. You see today, some men including those who profess Christianity harass their wives sèxually. It is not supposed to be like that. The gospel we are preaching is the gospel of peace. Any gospel that cannot bring peace into the family is not of God. Some men have turned their holy matrimony to holy rǡping. I am referring to a situation where a man insists on having sèx with his wife whether the woman is sick or in pains. It is wickedness to force your spouse to sleep with you against her will. Some men may defend such action, saying after all they did not go out to fornicate. But it is ràpe.
“Forcing your wife to sleep with you is unholy even though you are in holy matrimony. I am putting my views on this issue together in book form because God must use someone to correct our fathers’ mistakes. Past generations have faced this problem and the present generation is still facing it. But everybody just kept quiet; everybody is enduring it. Women cannot go to their parents to report that.
“In this manner, some married women are practicing holy prostitution. Such women will tell their husbands if you don’t give me money to buy certain clothes, bags, shoes or whatever, I will not allow you to sleep with me. It is wrong. All these should stop.”
Indeed, Apostle Adenuga, who is also President, Apostle Paul Gospel Outreach preaches the word of God with uncommon passion. Like an old time prophet, his messages are not diluted.
At a time some of his colleagues are harping on prosperity, the indigene of Ago-Iwoye in Ijebu North Local Government Area, Ogun State maintains that salvation is the most crucial thing. He attributed the nation’s unhealthy moral temperature to greed and lack of fear of God.

Christianity EtcPolice Nabgay Pastor In Aba by utenwuson(op): 8:53am On Aug 07, 2013
The Aba Police Area Command has arrested a 40-year-old Prophet/Pastor, Benjamin Ndubuisi, for having unlawful carnal knowledge of a 23-year-old man.
Investigations revealed that the prophet whose church is located at 89 Ukaegbu Road, Ogbor Hill has been involved in the unholy act with the victim since he engaged him as a worker in his church.
Trouble started for the prophet when his victim who gave hisname as Ndukwe took ill two weeks ago and worried by his continued deteriorating health condition, confessed to his family about the secret love affairs between him and the gay prophet.
Residents of the area hinted that Ndubuisi, who is a prophet in one of the white garment churches in Ogbor Hill, engaged his victim as a worker in the church as a ploy to always have him around to satisfy his séxual urge.
The gay prophet is alleged to have administered oath to Ndukwe to stop him from divulging the details of the love affair between them to his relatives and members of the church.
Worried by the shocking revelation, Ndukwe’s parents alerted policemen leading to the arrest of the homoséxual prophet.
The Prosecutor, Cpl. Galadima Rubies, told the court that the accused committed the offence at Ogbor Hill in Aba on July 28.
According to him, Benjamin had a carnal knowledge of a man’s son through the anus.
Rubies said the offence contravened Section 214 (1) of the Criminal Code, Laws of Abia 2005.
When the suspect was arraigned in court, he pleaded not guilty to the charge and was granted bail in the sum of N200, 000 with a surety in like sum.
Magistrate K. I. Udo said the surety should be resident withinthe court’s jurisdiction as part of the bail conditions.
The accused may be sentenced to 14 years imprisonment on conviction.

EducationTouts Takes Over......on Rampage @ YABATECH Over Post UME by utenwuson(op): 11:02am On Aug 05, 2013
As thousands of candidates who applied for admission into the Yaba College of Technology YABATECH, Lagos, are unableto register online on their own for the post-Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, UTME, screening, touts in and around the college have taken over such responsibility.
National Mirrorcan authoritatively report that the inability of many candidates to do the online registration even after following the procedure as stated on the institution’s website had indirectly forced them to patronise touts who work as agents for operators of cybercafé in and around the college.
When National Mirror visited the school last Friday, scores of touts at the gate approached our reporter alongside several other visitors at the time for patronage in respect of the online post-UTME screening registration.
Many of the prospective students told National Mirror that the development had caused them to part with N1, 000 in addition to the N1, 800 officially charged by the college for the purpose.
But the school authority denied knowledge of the candidates’ inability to register on their own.
The college’s spokesman, Mr. Adekunle Adams, told National Mirror at the weekend that the procedure for the registration was clearly stated in simple language on the school’s website for candidates to follow with the warning to prospective students to be wary of fraudsters.
He said the college adopted the system to make the registration convenient and easier for candidates who are spread across the country and that a candidate could encounter difficulty in registration only when he or she does not follow the procedure nor have adequate knowledge of the use of the internet.
Adams said candidates might also encounter problem in this respect when they only use ATM card code and not internet pin to be issued by their banks for the purpose of the registration.
He added that the college even ensured it protected its website to prevent unauthorised individuals from hacking into it to defraud unsuspected candidates.
“But at the same time, those who do not have access to internet will definitely have no option than to patronise cybercafé to apply for the exam since the school does not accept paper registration,” he said.
The public relations officer said the school had received about 15, 000 applications so far as at Friday from the over 100, 000 applications expected for the exam which will take place next month.
He added that while the college admitted only about 5,000 last year, it is expected to admit more candidates this year

It's kind of funny though for anyone to have thought of askingAfroPop star 2Face Idibia how he felt over his babymama, Sunmbo' marriage to Pastor Adeoye in Lagos recently. But hewas asked the question anyway, and his answer is as cool as would be expected:
2Face, who has two kids from Sunmbo when their love was hot, said:
“Sunmbo deserves all the best, I wish her many good things in her marriage. She’s a nice person,” he told an online magazine.
Many had thought he actually loved Sunmbo more than his other babymamas and would marry her. It seems her deep involvement with church activities later made him change his ming. #GoFigure. Lols!

Christianity EtcSHOCKER: Kenyan Lawyer To Sue Isreal/egypt Over Death Of JESUS Christ. by utenwuson(op): 11:06am On Aug 03, 2013
A Kenyan lawyer has filed a petition with the International Court of Justice (ICJ) in The Hague, suggesting that the trial and crucifixion of Jesus Christ was unlawful, and The State of Israel among others should be held responsible.
Dola Indidis, a lawyer and former spokesman of the Kenyan Judiciary is reportedly attempting to sue Tiberius (Emperor of Rome 42 BC-37AD), Pontius Pilate, a selection of Jewish elders, King Herod, the Republic of Italy and the State of Israel.
“Evidence today is on record in the Bible, and you cannot discredit the Bible,” Indidis said. Even though those he suggests should have been convicted during the original trial have not been alive for more than 2000 years, Indidis insists that the government for whom they acted can and should stillbe held responsible. “I filed the case because it’s my duty to uphold the dignity of Jesus and I have gone to the ICJ to seek justice for the man from Nazareth.
His selective and malicious prosecution violated his human rights through judicial misconduct, abuse of office, bias and prejudice,” he said Indidis apparently named the states of Italy and Israel in the lawsuit because upon the attainment ofindependence, the two states incorporated the laws of the Roman Empire that were in force at the time of the Crucifixion.
He is challenging the mode of questioning used during Jesus’ trial, prosecution, hearing and sentencing; the form of punishment meted out on him while undergoing judicial proceedings and the substance of the information used to convict him.
The case was first filed in the High Court in Nairobi, but was rejected. Indidis then applied to have it heard at the ICJ, which is rumoured to have constituted a pre-trial panel to consider the case.
When asked about the case, however, a spokesperson for the ICJ said, “The ICJ has no jurisdiction for such a case. The ICJ settles disputes between states. It is not even theoretically possible for us to consider this case.”
Indidis says he wants to establish what crime Jesus was charged with and prays that the court decides “that the proceedings before the Roman courts were a nullity in law, for they did not conform to the rule of law at the material time and any time thereafter.”
“Some of those present spat in his face, struck him with their fists, slapped him, taunted him, and pronounced him worthy of death,” Indidis argues. When Jesus died, Indidis insists, he was not given an opportunity to be heard.
“I am suing as a friend,” he said. Indidis insisted on the validity of his case, saying “I know with a matter of fact and truth we have a good case
PoliticsAmechi Reveal......my Problem With PEJ by utenwuson(op): 9:57am On Aug 03, 2013
Rivers State Governor and Chairman of Nigeria Governors’ Forum, Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi said his perceived misunderstanding with the First Lady, Dame Patience Jonathan arose out of his desire to provide a conducive learning environment for the children of Okrika, home town of the First Lady
Amaechi said he has enormous respect for both President Goodluck Jonathan and his wife, Patience.
He spoke when clergymen of the Niger Delta Bishops’ Forum visited him in Government House, Port Harcourt on Friday aspart of their efforts mediate in the political crisis in the state. The bishops had some weeks back visited the First Lady and Minister of State for Education Nyesom Wike in Abuja as partof their efforts to resolve the issues
Amaechi said: “My lords, I don’t know what to say, believe me, the only thing I want to say to you is that and I want to beput on record that the wife of the President said when My wife came to beg me, I pushed her away. I have never quarrelled with my wife publicly, and I will never quarrel with my wife publicly. So there is no time I pushed my wife away, and there is no time I will push my wife away. I just want to correct that so that nobody goes away with the impression that somebody told my wife ‘go and talk to your husband, she came and I pushed her away’. No, that day I simply walked away into a bus and I sat down until they finished. So all I did was go back to the bus to enable my wife perform her official function of someone who had received the wife of the President and escort her to all the places she wanted to go to”.
“I hope that it (this mediation) will work. Niger Delta Monarchs came and no result came out of it and since you aremen of God I hope that this one God will bless it. I hope so because that is the same way I spoke to them(the monarchs) and they said, ‘watch out, it will work’, and they never returned because it never worked. There are so many persons who had come to mediate but nothing came out of it. If it is peace that everybody wants, I am ready for peace. When you say you are seeking for permission, I am wondering why, because if you did not have the permission you would not have gone to see the wife of the President. Themere fact that you have seen the wife of the President means that you have initiated the peace move, so you don’t require any further approval than the approval of God that you have started with."
“There are aspects of the story that is public that I need to correct. lord Bishops please allow me correct those ones too because when you spoke with the wife of the President she spoke publicly. She said and I concede to her when she said she is my mother. As wife of the President who is the head of government and head of the nation, she is my mother and you expect that as my mother she should be able to protect her son. No mother takes away a Police Commissioner to the detriment of her son, so when next you see my mother, please tell her that she should try and protect her son.
“The other aspect is the Okrika story when she visited. Like I said, as the governor, by protocol I will receive the President and you know that the President is not just our President, he is the head of the nation but when the wife of the President came I went to receive her at the airport and she slept in PortHarcourt. The next day she came up with a programme that was not part of the official programme, and what was the programme? She wanted her people to receive her in Okrika. There was no plan, there was no protocol arrangement, nothing. We just had to quickly arrange protocol to take her to the place.
But to do that we wanted to also show her, as part of her own programme, not our programme, was to show her the projects we had done in Okrika. So we took her to the Rufus Ada-George ring road in Okrika which we started and completed and then somewhere we saw a health centre and a primary school and I said stop, let me show her this health centre. We looked at the health centre and we were satisfied. At the primary school, there were houses around the primary school too close for comfort, no football field, no playground, no space at all around the school and I turned to the wife of the President and said ‘Your Excellency Ma, we have not finished with this building, we would buy the housesthat are surrounding the primary school and demolish them’.
Once she heard the word 'demolish', the wife of the Presidentflared up and took the microphone from me and started all sorts of diatribes that I won’t mention here for the respect i have for the office of the wife of the President. When she finished, I felt that it is wrong to confront the wife of the President publicly. When she finished, I withdrew and walked into the bus. When we got to the ground of the reception which was not part of our programme, which she just included by herself, I came down from the bus and went to sit in one of the primary schools.
That is where she said my wife met me and I never and will never, there was not even a public, how did the wife of the President know that my wife met me and I pushed her away when she was supposed to be in a public ceremony. Was she standing with me and my wife in that primary school and saw me pushed my wife away? So it is important that you get to know this and it is important that the public knows that thealtercation between myself and the wife of the President wasas a result of providing services to her place, the Okrika people because you must deal with the issue of paedophiles.
If you build a primary school and the place is surrounded by people who are cooking and selling and buying, that is not a conducive atmosphere for learning and we did not say we would come there with caterpillars and demolish, we say we would buy the houses from the people and pay them off to beable to get a football field and provide playground for the children and fence off the school so that we can protect them from paedophiles, that was what happened.
Governor Amaechi also spoke on the issue of Nyesom Wike, the Minister of State for Education whom he nominated for appointment as Minister.
“I hear you also visited Nyesom Wike. I try not to talk about Wike. I say so because he is my subordinate, I try not to talk about him but I hear you visited him. Why I won’t talk about him is that Nyesom Wike, his second tenure as Obio Akpor Council Chairman was by the grace of God but I was the architect of that second term. Nyesom Wike was appointed Chief of Staff by me.
Nyesom Wike as a Minister of State, I nominated him. I was under pressure by the President to drop him, I refused. The President persuaded me to drop him and bring a woman but I refused. I hear he is going all over town saying I didn’t appoint him. I didn’t appoint him, the President appointed him but I nominated him to be a minister him as the Chairman of Nigeria Governors’ Forum. I did but you know, character doesn’t come easily, character is a very difficult thing and I am a man of character”, Amaechi said.
Earlier, the leader of the delegation, Rt. Rev. James Aye Oruwori said they came because they needed the governor’s permission to intervene in the prolonged crisis in the state and the dispute between the governor and the First Lady.
They said they took the challenge to intervene in the crisis without external influence, having also visited First Lady, Dame Patience Jonathan, to restore the peace that existed in the state.
Rt. Rev. James Aye Oruwori said: “On behalf of the Niger Delta Bishops’ Forum, we came to visit with you (Amaechi). We want to first of all appreciate your gracious approval of our coming. Summarily, to say why we are here, we, before I go into that, let me please say that our coming is not influenced by any person, our coming is not sponsored by anyperson but because in a home where there are fathers, peaceis always maintained and because we have observed that there had been some challenges to the people of Rivers State then to the entire Nigeria, we feel agitated in our spirits
“It is not an exaggeration to say that we have been praying but then prayer without faith is classified as dead and it is on this note we have taken upon ourselves to make a move to seek for peace. The scripture says precisely in Matthew 5:9 that ‘Blessed are the peacemakers, for they are the children of God”.
“The best thing to do, we felt is to first of all come to you and to say we would want to intervene in this matter believing that there is nothing impossible with God. We just feel that if this matter is allowed to escalate, the matter is something that will not affect only we that are living but even our children that will be born tomorrow”.
PoliticsWe Shot Our Leader..........boko Haram by utenwuson(op): 1:01pm On Aug 02, 2013
Sheikh Abubakar Shekau, leader of the violent Islamic sect, Boko Haram, has reportedly been shot and deposed by members of his own sect, Boko Haram.
Abu Zamira Mohammed, who is the sect’s leader negotiating with the federal government has been appointed as the new leader by the group’s Shura Council.
The group also said that its ceasefire declaration is working, pointing out that there has not been any suicide bombing since the declaration. It noted its condemnation of the Yobe massacre where 40 students were killed, adding that some politicians now commit murder and ascribe it to Boko Haram
On the Kano blasts last Monday, which led to the death of about 45 people, the group blamed it on federal government’s tardiness in responding to the ceasefire agreement.
A joint report published yesterday, by Dr. Stephen Davis, a conflict resolution expert and an adviser to the last three Nigerian Presidents and Phillip van Niekerk, President of Calabar Africa, a strategic advisory company focusing on Africa, and former Editor of South Africa’s Mail & Guardian newspaper, in the US based online newspaper, huff ingtonpost.com, quoted one Imam Liman Ibrahim, spiritual leader of Boko Haram, as saying that "the change in leadership was prelude to peace negotiations with the federal government."

CelebritiesTonto Dike May Vanish From Naija Films...producer/directors Threating by utenwuson(op): 12:44pm On Aug 02, 2013
What has #PokoBaby done again? Actress Tonto Dikeh’s acting may be going south following threats from some movieproducers and director to relegate her to the background as a result of what they described as her rude conduct recently at a location in Asaba.
“That little brat, apart from her addictions to marijuana, doesn’t give a damn about whose ox is gored, she abuses, throw tantrums and fights on set at any slightest provocation and we must make sure she’s humiliated.
"She seems to have gathered too much weight and has hurriedly forgotten those days when she used to go on bended knees for a ‘waka pass’ role in movies. We’ll teach her a lesson."
According to sources, Tonto Dikeh who was playing a lead role in a movie at a location in Asaba, provoked the anger of atop movie director by her unbecoming display on set.
The director hasn’t stopped telling everyone his nasty experience at the hands of the controversial actress.
According to the director who craved anonymity: “Tonto Dikeh is such a rot and lacks every bit of home training, apologies to her parents. I tried to control myself in order notto disrupt the set, but I got upset over the kind of insults Tonto heaped on the makeup artist on the set; a woman old enough to be her mother.
"She liberally used words like, ‘Are you stupid, don’t you know what you are supposed to do? Must I remind you before you’ll know you are supposed to make me up?’ on the woman who was at the verge of throwing back some punch lines at her.”
Consequently, a group of directors and producers have decided not to feature the actress who currently is not even in good terms with many actress, due to her recent outburst on the social media.
