Kudos to the governor of Kebbi State and congrats to the people of Kebbi State for increasing rice production to conquer recession. Meanwhile, Okorocha is busy wasting and squandering Imo State's little resources. Can you imagine a governor paying N600,000,000.00 to his blood sister every year for Christmas decorations, while he is cutting workers salaries and pensions to 40% on the false claim that there is no money in the state. Meanwhile he is not making effort to build the state economy by building things that will generate the needed fund. The only way he knows to make money is to make it from his citizens by either cutting their salaries and pensions, or imposing unwarranted levies on them, or turning every state agencies like OCDA, ENTRACO Etc into touting to be harassing people, abusing them and fleecing them of their monies. Imo state has Moribund companies like IMO Standard Shoes Company, Avutu Poultry, Amaraku Power Station. Yet he could not revamp any, let alone building a new one. He is rather erecting structures without any equipment or commercial/government activities in them, while his counterparts in other states are busy producing and exporting agric products in good commercial quantities and others are making effort to generate electricity to compliment and boost production in their states, and others are building world class medical centers to attract medical tourism. All in the bid to conquer recession. Dumb governors who can't engage in useful critical thought are not needed in Nigeria at this time. |
Things are really hard, yes. And we are now witnessing and hearing things which had not been, and which ought not to be. But people shouldn't throw away their babies. Perseverance is what is needed at this time. The era will soon pass over. |
MicroBox:Are they hypocrites because they wished Christians a happy Christmas celebration? Isn't that a virtuous act, showing they are inclined to peace. Hypocrites are those who hate and kill because of religion, claiming to be righteous, while seeing others are sinners. Meanwhile they are more sinful because the acts of hating and killing are in themselves sinful. If you are one of them, you better change. |
It is because of Buhari's scrambling for natural resources in the north. He has shaken their earth. |
Thank God for PDP's wisdom in putting the amnesty program. These people would have been wasted by military trigger but for the amnesty. Are they not now useful to themselves and Nigeria? Have they not brought pride to Nigeria? Buhari should think twice about his policies and use wisdom, no matter how little. |
Propropro:That he is fighting against injustice does not make him a hater. He loves everybody, including Hausas and Yorubas, but he hates injustice. He radiates love wherever he is, but he despises injustice. It is you that hates him for disliking injustice that is the hater. |
They will soon destroy the word "progress". But I ask, are they saying we should forget about the change they promised us? Since they have shifted from change to progress without fulfilling their promised change. Has PDP ever changed slogan before? What is always changed is what is bad and not needful. A good thing is retained forever and cherished. There is everything wrong with APC. |
Because they have destroyed the word "change". |
I know it will be inconclusive as far as APC is loosing. But do it 100 times, APC will loose. Imagine a party that PDP quietly handed over to in obedience to democratic principles, now the party, APC is becoming so undemocratic to an annoying point, doing worst things than they cried against when they were not in power. Meanwhile, Rochas Okorocha is taking Imo indigenes for granted. Soonest, his cup will be filled to the brims and he wouldn't believe his eyes for what he will see. |
Honestly I don't understand what these people want. You worship your Allah without disturbances, yet you don't want others to worship theirs own God. |
APC petition writers. They wrote against Senate Leadership, now they are writing against Dino Melaye. The will soon write against themselves. |
Those who have narrow minds will not understand what Dino Melaye is doing. He is not stupid and he is not childish as some say. He is a born Rights Activist. Telling him that his days in Lagos is over in Nigeria we all own, and which right to freedom of movement our constitution guarantees him is like a story to him. He wants to dare them to infringe on his right and see that he is an activist, not a stuff to be intimidated. He also wants Nigerians to remove fear and know that no human is god, not even Tinubu the overrated APC Leader. |
His daughter is using foreign wig and gown for her call to the bar, instead of patronizing Nigeria's made in Calabar stuff. Meanwhile, people are dying of hunger in Nigeria. |
Good move. There is also need to make laws limiting cost of campaigns and purchasing of forms to create more opportunity for more people to participate comfortably in elections. The law should state an amount forms should be sold and an amount of money one must not exceed as campaign expenses. My thought stems from the fact that much of the reasons there is corruption in political offices is because people spend out themselves and even borrow to fund campaigns, and when they win they use the first two years to replace their expenses and repay loans and the remaining two years will be used in saving for second term. In the end, the person can not do anything for those that elected him. Again, it is the high cost of campaign that lead people to making campaigns a do or die affair, when you spend all your money contesting and remembers you have borrowed money and you see yourself loosing the election, of course, many would go as far as conceiving murdering their opponent. It is also the root cause of godfatherism. When you have spent all you have, and it takes you nowhere in your campaign, one rich capitalist will come and invest by sponsoring you, and when you win, he would reap his investment 20 times and in the end, the electorates get nothing for their votes. It is one thing reduce eligibility by age and another thing to limit expenses during elections. |
Nigeria has suddenly become a laughing stock in the eyes of foreign countries. So sad. |
They should write directly to Inspector General of Police and see the police sit up immediately. |
What a wonderful news. Our GOD is truly awesome. Miracles are HIS to perform. To HIM be all the glory.....Amen. Bless me Lord as well. |
What a wonderful news. Our GOD is truly awesome. Miracles are HIS to perform. To HIM be all the glory.....Amen. |
I applaud this one if it is true, and will not be used to snuf the daylight out of citizens financially. |
Aufbauh:Nobody was killed. I hate and condemn shedding of blood. But the news is fake. Let them show the pictures of the exhumed bodies. |
CHIJIOKE1314:. That is if at all it happened. But I have my doubt because IPOB prouds for not shedding a blood in pushing through their points. I feel it is targeted at painting IPOB black. |
This report is false. Much as I am not an IPOB member, I know that IPOB does not kill. IPOB uses persuasion and information to fight for the course of Biafrans. The high point of IPOB internationally is the peaceful manner it is conducting its affairs, and I feel this report is just a ploy to destroy that point, not minding the damaging effect it will have in further dividing the country or causing crisis. |
Enough of this deceit and distractions called fight against corruption. All we need is good life, electricity, jobs, water, good roads, health etc. the sufferings of Nigerians are much since this government came in. We are only being deceived and distracted by this fight against corruption which is one sided and a witch hunt. Even when the names of the looters are published, names of some known looters will not be included because of their relationship with the government, while some innocent names will be there because they are not in the good book of the government. Please leave us alone. |
Hallucination |
Thank God for saving the lives of our soldiers. |
If this administration should be using the previous to make excuses and comparing itself to the past administration, it mean there is no hope for the promised change. A change is a complete deviation from the previous. |
You are missing the point. After pointing out the errors of PDP and climbing to power on that basis, promising change and better days, APC can not be seen falling into the same error they promised to correct. This is one year of this administration, yet Nigeria hasn't moved an inch. It is not about being PDP or APC. It is not also about being a Yoruba, Igbo or Hausa. It is about Nigeria and Nigerians. Fix our country for us is our demand and nothing more. Everybody is feeling the hardship, both the wailing wailers and the smiling smilers. Anybody that pretends he is not feeling the situation must be a hypocrite. |

. See what prison magic can do. He is gradually giving up on biafra and committing his time to foster peace and unity within the prison after almost causing another civil war in the country. The biggest loosers here are his herds of followers especially those who sacrificed their lives in that fruitless protest. Kanu has accepted fate and ready to integrate himself into the Nigerian life while IPOB yoots are still carrying biafra matter on their head like gala. I'm sure he would jump at a deal of denouncing biafra for his freedom. We have been vindicated that his biafra agitations were all a ploy to scam sentimental igbos of their money. I hope all igbo youths who sees him as their mentor learns from this. Forget biafra and be a patriotic Nigerian if you don't want to end up like Nnamdi kanu. Biafra is dead and buried since 1970. Let the sleeping dog lie
