XtremeBase: where does one get castor oil from? Here http://www.africanaturalistas.com/ |
@thatgurlvixen The Henna Wax on the left in the picture is an intensive deep conditioner , works well for damaged hair, the thing is it tends to dry out my hair after i'm done ,so i either follow up immediately with the herbal essence hydrating conditioner (leave it on for 30 mins or more ad then rinse out with green tea) or just slather the ORGANIC ROOT STIMULATOR Incredibly rich oil moisturising lotion ( the second picture) and then seal with any of the oils (coconut, olive, etc). Now if The Henna deep conditioner leaves your hair dry ,you can try The AFRICA'S BEST Rinse-out & Leave in Deep Conditioner. I love this conditioner for three reasons. 1. It doesnt have a Thick consistency like the Henna in texture,so its easy to apply 'cos it gets to all the strands on the hair and it makes it easy for me to mix a little of it with water in a spray bottle and spray it as a leave in conditioner for both my real hair and my braids or extensions. This detangles waves/weave-on 2. Its a deep conditioner but it doesnt leave my hair dry.I use it for both rinse out and leave in conditioner (Dual purpose conditioner). 3. Finally ,No mineral oil , and No parebens. It Has Aloe vera FOR moisturisers. Try the ORS Incredibly rich oil moisturiser , its really great .Its a creamy moisturiser and has oils in it ,and then seal with oils .With this i dont bother sealing all the time with oils only when i am styling my hair i tend to seal with oils ,but when the ends are tucked in a Bun i use the ORS alone withour sealing with oils. If you do not like creamy Moisurisers, then get the Africa's Best 2 in 1 Detangling conditioning moisturiser ,it come in a spray bottle . It can be used on any type of hair , even natural hair , extensions , braids, etc. Wait for it to settle into the hair shaft before detangle with your fingers ,and then follow up with a wide tooth comb. You can also seal with oils after this. All these products are sold in stores in Nigeria and ranging from N700 to N1100 ,the Henna i got for N850 on the island,it may be cheaper on the mainland and i saw one in a big Jar the last time i went ,The one in the picture doesnt colour the hair , and i know it can be sourced locally from those ladies that to tatoos for northern weddings or so.

@Yvete Yea, the Neutrogena is quite good ,i have the rinse-out triple moisture hair mask ,the thing about it is that it doesn't last for me ,take a look at the picture,i've only used it twice and its almost finished. It works just that i have to apply a lot of it to my hair, Don't think i will be getting it again. @thatgurlvixen Thanks for visiting the blog. Yes ,you're right, not all of them are available in Nigeria, not withstanding there are other great conditioners, and hair products that are easily available in Lagos and other parts Nigeria which i use too. I will explain below with pictures. @Playgal Nice one,That's great . Cholesterol is another product that increases the volume of the hair especially for people having issues with scanty edges, receding hair lines or when you just want to add some body to the hair. .I don't use it though 'cos my hair has got a lot of volume i'm still trying to deal with. Another natural source of cholesterol is in the egg yolk which one can mix along with the egg white when doing a protein treatment.

i think they just woke her up from sleep and hurried her up to the air port, So she just scrambled on the closest thing in the room to wear.Trust me you will not catch Riri dead in that gray gown, the sunglasses maybe but not the dress. |
Yvete: ^^OMG!!!! i see that a lot in Nigeria , and i don't get It either. ![]() Well dressed with Flexi rods curled at every corner of their hair. No mirrors in the house? ? What's the point? ![]() |
@Lovethyhair Thanks for the tips. ![]() Yvete: @ Uzoo: I came across Joico products today. Do you use Joico's K-Pak Conditioner?Oh yesss ,i did use the Joico range , in fact got 2 different Joico conditioners (Pictures below) i have to say that the product works and all you need is just a small size. I use it as a bi-monthly protein treatment along with my DIY protein treatment too,the K-Pak is empty now ,but i'm still using the blue one which is also almost empty ,my hair responds very well to it. If you are looking for a Hydrating Conditioner i am still standing by the Herbal Essence Hello hydration , The one beside the Joico in the picture is finished so i got the bigger Size, that conditioner makes my hair silky soft.
what of money given to family in respect of business that never yielded profit.......should it be forgotten?
Actually this was what i noticed around me and other close family members ,not really meant to be an advice or something like that. In many cases money given out to a family member to set up a business is not always expected to be paid back because the person is only investing in you and hoping you and your business will flourish and you can now become independent without approaching him or her in future for more money. But if the agreement between the parties is that the money has been borrowed to you then its clear that whatever it is you do afterwards whether the business went belly up or not then it should be repaid back. It all depends on the relationship between you and that family member and what was agreed initially before the money for the business was given to you. |
Luxiana19: This is so not cool. Someone needs to tell these guys that girls dont dig this. Now , this i can not stand ![]() , i almost slapped a teenager along the road for exposing dirty boxers by sagging his dirty jeans .Totally disgusting. |
1. Don't expect it to be paid back 2. Even if you do, Don't expect the full amount to be paid back 3. If you still do expect it to be paid back, it will never be on the promised date of repayment. 4. If you happen to be the First child (Male or Female ) in the family amongst your siblings ,money lent to any of them (father/mother or siblings), will probably be regarded as your responsibilities any way - one reason why they will not pay you back. 5. They will offer to sell you something or some form of ridiculous services to you in other to fulfill the payment e.g.washing your car for months or being your driver (you didn't ask for) for a period of time,e.t.c. 6. The same person you are expecting to get your money back from is coming back to you with more problems regarding money. Where do you begin to ask for the previous one. ![]() 7. Lets face it , somewhere and sometime in your life this person has actually sowed into your life one way or the other and is now in need of your financial help. How do you begin to ask for your money back. God loves a cheerful giver, always make room for increase, givers never lack , in all these one has to know when to draw the line and know when your benevolence is being taken for granted or when you are regarded as a fool for lending out money to relatives and not asking for it to be paid back. Lay out your priorities before this same family members drag you down. ![]() |

Spanishmario: Wat colour of blazer can I wear on a black trouser. Am chocolate in complexion nd kindoff an introvert...I take it that you already have a shirt or inner wear in mind to pair the Pants with the blazer. Below is a picture of colours of blazers you can wear with your black trousers(pants) For the a relaxed look or what i would call an unassuming look (since you said you're an ''introvert'') try the picture of Joseph Gordon-Levitt in the middle (that is the grey blazer with a metallic undertone, here it looks like a tweed blazer and may not be appropriate for a hot weather like ours) ,this should be perfect with a stripe T-shirt or plain T-shirt and your black pair of pants).

Chicolee: No, I've actually seen these actresses recently. I'm not talking of pictures.Well all i can say is this, to have a glowing skin one should follow a skin care regimen that suits your skin and this should include exfoliation. a fair or bleached complexion does not mean you have a glowing skin. The best way to achieve a good skin is removing dead skin cells through exfoliation, protection of the skin and finally a good diet or eating habits .Daily supplements also helps to achieve a glowing skin. But when it comes to celebs some of them do go the extra mile to visit skin care professionals who help them achieve and maintain a good skin. |
are you referring to the air brushed and photoshopped images of these celebrities or did you notice this by meeting them physically. i really dont pay much attention to celebrity images on paper and print because some have been air brushed to make the skin and heavy make up appear flawless. and yea.. your topic is not quite related to what you are asking on here. |
