Tayeni: not feeling the suits They make d model look stuck up......I prefer two buttoned suits .....d closer d top button is to my neck, the lesser I like d suit........just my personal preference. D shoes aren't cool too. The box toes are not 2013 compliant.........rounded or pointed toes look better.

lol... yup,i'm not feeling the shoes at all , the full buttoned suits dont cut it for me too, looks like the guy is stuffed..lol. (something i see around in Nigeria a lot) Just my take .

i was really lazy to cook anything tonight ,but i managed to cook some beans ,fried plaintain ,sweet potatoes and some beef stew.

babestell: Uzoo your hair and mine sound like sisters........mine should be the elder cos she turns coarse sometimes after a day, I havent tried a tea rinse before, maybe I should. Am in my 6th week of strechibg and its like at my last deep conditioning all my hair went with the comb . My hair is fuller now and I have more strands on the edge but it doesn't want to grow like that hairlicious chick's own.

Am so demoralised I just had to go fix my hair even though I planned not to. Does anybody have ideas for cool protective styles for short hair, the ones I see are usually for long hair.

Yes exactly ,thats the problem with mine,the distance between the hair at the edges and my eye brows are less than 1 inch ,so when i do relax it looks like i didnt do jack ,it curls back down stubbornly. That Hairlicious lady has really long hair, the key is patience you know from her blog she started her Hair journey a couple of years ago , one has to be patient but i just want to make sure i'm doing the right stuff to enable healthy growth.

Fullness (Volume) - that in fact has never been my hair's problem ,if i had a way of making it less fuller trust me i would,the hair is just something else, i have to do a lot to get it to smoothen out.

2.
Length - Now, this is what i'm looking for (i've gone past the length in the third picture which has always been the length where my hair stops growing ) but since i joined in the stretch in june i've added about 2 to 3 inches ,but like i said the damn thing is breaking at the rate at which it is growing.

So i will be waiting for any more tips on how to retain length or like you said get to our desired length. ( i just want bra strap length and i'm fine ..lol)

You're right , its the same thing that's happening to me too,The hair is fast growing but i can't seem to retain more lengths . like i said ,seems like my new growth are on steroids that makes the rest of the relaxed/texlaxed hair break away. I dont even do much to it just wrapped up in a pony tail with the ends tucked in after moisturising and sealing.

i have followed my regimen to the T, but honestly i am tired of still picking some hair from the comb on days i dont do a Tea Rinse. My tea rinse is once a week and breakage only stops for that day only(i pray every other wash day not to have much breakage) the other good thing is that it has given my hair a really darker shade which i love.(looks like i dyed my hair black)

To answer your question ,No its not a protein treatment ,You just brew some Green tea or Black tea that has caffeine in it ,let it cool and then pour over your hair after conditioning , ,You have to place a jug or bowl to collect it when it runs through your hair and then pour it over your hair again.The caffeine in the tea helps prevent breakage ,some people use coffee too

Finally ! some people are on the same page as me, Gosh! i cant wait for september 7 ( it will be 3 months stretch by then),So there's a possibility of ending my stretch.Why i joined the stretch was to see if i could have some more length rather than volume, but the down side is breakage.

But here's the thing ,even when i do use the relaxers my hair return backs to being coarse after a few days,so i have to keep using products that are hydrating and can soften them to make them smooth.

It will be nice if you could do a tutorial on how to get the perfect arch (eye brows) for different shapes of faces.

i have an Oval face with hooded eye brows which grows in different directions ,it starts off growing nicely from the edge of my nose bridge then cuts off and begins to grow upwards and then curling backwards towards the hair on my fore head ...( its really funny because in high school my school mates called me '''chicago bulls'') you get the picture.

It actually runs in my family,so it doesnt really give me much worries ,its just that sometimes i get tweezer happy and just get rid of the curly part leaving me with half of an eye brow

About Yoghurt,Here's the thing- My belly and Yoghurt have some sort of love-hate relationship. When i have any sort of yoghurt whether its plain yoghurt or pro biotic ,i get seriously bloated and it can be like this for a day or two so this makes me really uncomfortable.
But when i make smoothies with it ( say 3 or 4 ounces of yoghurt into the fruit mix) then its fine .

As for bananas ,i used to be an addict but i stopped because i can't seem to find healthy ones in lagos.

1. The killer whale/penguin looking dress that women think is chic. If you are a size 2 you look like a penguin and if you are a size 22 you look like a killer whale. I've never seen it look good on anyone.

Is it me .? or is there a kind of banana sold by those hausa guys in lagos.

the ones we get from the villages in the east tastes better , they are larger in size and when they are ripe you look at them and can see that they are actually ripe because they have that yellowish green color.

But the bananas i've seen around especially in lagos sold by some people in the market are all green and then some are ripe while others are not and they tend to irritate my lips.

Some said these farmers sometimes use chemicals(..like Nitrogen or something) to ripen the fruits quicker so they can sell them off.I dont know how true this is.

Any one experienced this before?
