AUGUST 4, 2014 Minister of Health, Dr. Onyebuchi Chukwu, on Monday explained that the medical doctor who carried out treatment on the late Patrick Sawyer, who died of Ebola virus on July 25, has exhibited symptoms of the deadly disease. He, however, said the Federal Government had not been able to confirm whether the medical doctor has actually been infected with the disease. He said a total of 70 Nigerians who came in contact with the late Sawyer, including two other medical personnel who treated him, had been quarantined and placed under surveillance. The minister stated this in Abuja during a periodic briefing organised by his ministry to update Nigerians on the latest development on the deadly disease. He assured members of the public that the federal government was doing everything within its powers to stop the outbreak of the disease in the country but enjoined everybody to embrace good hygiene and constantly wash their hands. Richydos: NYSC redeployed corpers from troubling northern states !!! is dis just an headline or wat cox no 1 seem 2 b explaining better.....I saw jigawa on my letter n camping in kaduna,,, plz someone should clarify me on d redeployment b4 I give rat d letter ooo cox I don't just get itthe thing is Jigawa is one of those troubled states, they believed camping there won't be safe that's why they choosed Kaduna(a more safer state) for camping you guys. Which means you have to wait for those originally posted to kaduna to finish their camp before you start your own there, hence the september you see as camping date. Towards the end of camp they will tell us how to go about the redeployment process |
